I received this call when I played basketball, so I could not pick it up, and the caller did not leave any message since I have voice mail.

I am getting these on Verizon also and live in Oregon. Kinda weird that all the numbers people are complaining about start with 5. I am guessing this may be the country code (i.e. US is 1) and it is being misdialed or directed by the country's operator or system. Just an idea. My wife gets the calls also on her cell phone to. They talk in Spanish about a hundred words per second and when you yell at them they stop. My wife knows spanish and could'nt keep up with them.

What the hell is going on These people/person needs to be put in check lets burn their house well primarily their phone. how can this person afford to call everyone

Indiana Resident. Received call 03/28/08 6:46 pm on my cell.

Called my cell which is unpublished.  Did not leave message.  On call back got a recording that said this cell number is no longer in service.

Wow... I had this number, and a very short cut off message in Spanish on my (visual) voicemail today March 28th, at 5::53 pm, I too live in Indiana, Indianapolis to be exact. I was wondering what cell phone company others that are getting these go through?!?!? I go through AT&T formally Cingular. This is crazy, and I really want to get to the bottom of this!!

Got the call on 3/28/2008 @ 3:41pm.  On 3/26/2008 @ 3:32pm, I got a similiar call from 413-998-9998.  Spanish speaking woman.  No idea who it is.  I just hung up.  3 of my co-workers have had the same calls on their personal phones and company cell phones.  I would really like to know how they are getting these numbers.

I got called on 3-28-08.5pm.I did not answer.On 3-27-08 another call from Oregon,
but different number.Both on my cell phone (A,T&T..Cingular) Anyone else have ATT?

Im another Indiana resident as well.
Been called twice, the most recent one a few minutes ago.
I've been trying to look up the number on line.

Is there any way it could be reported to the cops?
Its really starting to piss me off.

I just got a call from it as well.  Irritating, my phone number is new 2-months old..wonder how they got it since I rarely give it out.  I'm in Seattle.  Seems like everyone is googling it.

I just got a call from this number also and Im in PA. It was the same as you all said something in spanish. I hung up. This was my first call from this number. Hope it doesnt continue.

I have been called TWICE.  I just got my second one a few minutes ago.  I am in Indiana also.  I don't speak Spanish and refuse to learn it because if they want to move over here, they need to learn the language that is spoken here, and stop calling me with a stupid Spanish computer voice.

This number called my Grand Central number. I am in Indiana too. WEIRD.

International scam; it is not actually a local number - it is an international + number. If you get the call, simply let it ring until they hang up - it is an attempt to charge a subscription service to your phone, in short, an international scam.

I get multiple calles each day from this number at our office.  I finally got fed up and started hitting the one button (it's the only word in Spanish I understood) till I finally got an actual person.  I asked if I could speak to someone who spoke english and the person just hung up on me.  When I called the number back it came up some cell phone number tha twas no longer in service.  I think this is a huge scam and people need ot beware!

I too received a call from the above #, I was unable to reach my cell phone in time.  They did not leave a message so I looked it up on the net and found all of you complaining about the same #.  What a pain.  Now they are attacking my cell phone as well as my home phone!

I got this call 3/27 at around 3pm, they left no message and then when I called the # back it said it was an international call and would not go through, then it just gave busy signal. Now that I learn it is a spam call I say that Any laws against this? Death Penalty has a Wonderful Idea!
