Got a call from this number telling me my debit card had been put on hold and to press one to reactivate it... didn't push one wasn't sure about it.

I got a call from this number saying my debit card was on hold due to a security breach.  I was also told to press one, but I didn't trust the numver.

Got the same exact thing as the rest of the folks here.  I hung up!

THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOLPLE ANY INFORMATION WHAT SO EVER!!! HANG UP ON THEM AND REPORT IT TO YOUR LOCAL POLICE!

Got a call from 551-137-1157 telling me my debit card was frozen due to security flaw. Asked me to enter my debit card number to reinstate.  Sounded fishy to me.

I just got the same call on my cell phone but it was a different number
317-215-5328.  The "robot"  wanted all of the same info, said my card was deactivated for security reasons.  I hung up called my bank and all is well.

Call from 817-688-7853, same scam as above.

I got a call from this number too, i didn't answer but my phone is registered in texas

I just got a call from them and they claimed to be American National Bank.  I've never used that bank and even if I did I could tell it was a scam.

I received a call on my cell from 551-137-11570 from a computerized voice telling me my debit card was deactivated due to security reasons.  . I didn't hear a bank name mentioned.  My phone is a Delaware number and I live in Delaware too.  551 is a New Jersey Area Code but 55 is also a  Country Code for Brazil.  This looked like an international number to me but the recorded message was a dead give away that is was a scam.

This phone appeared on my cell phone.   I did not answer it because I did not recognize it and it appears to be very questionable.  probably a scam!!!!

Received call from 551 137 1157, auto voice said it was Visa and my debit card had been cancelled due to fraud prevention.  Wanted me to reactivate by entering my debit card number.  That's when I hung up.  My debit card isn't Visa and I have to know who's asking for the number before I enter it anywhere.  I live in Washington State.

I'm in Washington state. Just got a robocall from the same number. I hung up immeadiately.

Mother received a call from this number also, funny thing is she lives in Hawaii :)
Lucky she is pretty quick and smelled the scam right away, she knows to just hang up if a robot ever calls.

It was a scam! i called my bank and they verified it.

supposedly there is a MASS BAY CREDIT UNION, and coincidently it used to be called MBTA Employees Credit Union. This is weird to me because I've never heard of this Union, and am not part of this union.

I got the same exact call today. I was freaking out cause I just used my card a couple of days ago, and I did nothing that would have caused it to become suspended...so i hung up. googled the number. and found this site.

got a call claiming debit card is deactivated from visa.

Got the same thing a few minutes ago on my cell, regarding a Visa debit card.  I hung up, thankfully, since there was no mention of any bank name, and my cell is new so my bank wouldn't know the number.

BTW, there isn't any Mass Bay Credit Union.

They are phising for card #'s.

I also live in MA but do not use the train or bus.

I got a call on 1/14 but didn't answer because the # appeared so strange. I thought it might be from out the country and didn't want to be charged if I answered. Glad I didn't now that I see it was a scam!

I just figured it out.  If you are anyone else like me live in the boston area and buy a T pass for the train and bus with your credit card a T worker may have gotten your info.

yeah got a call on my cell from this number.  Needless to say I knew it was a scam and I didn't press anything.
