Just got a text from this number and I called them back. The guy says he doesn't speak english so he continued in Spanish, as I too speak Spanish. He asked if I have a family member who lives in jersey, a brother or cousin, and I said "yeah cousin!!" (I knew this was fake already). He's like, "what's your cousins name?" And I told him his name was Oscar (just a bs name) and he says in the background, "is your name Oscar?" .. "Alright we got your cousin here man, he got  in a car accident with my cousin and my cousin was gonna kill him but I stopped him" ... I pretended to be worried and he continued saying how he needed $2000 or his cousin was gonna kill my cousin. So I said, "hey why don't we do this... Why don't you go stick your cousins d**k up your a** and then perhaps go f**k yourself, then you can call me back about the money" ... All of a sudden he spoke english and threatened my life, etc etc. all bs lol

Just got a call from them asking for a ransom for them holding my brother. I'm reporting them to the police and the Feds. They ought to be ashamed of themselves.

I got a text message from the same number. It is in spanish but is pretty much the same thing.

so they keep calling my phone even though i know it is a scam. they called 3 times. this is so damn annoying. i just pick up, don't say anything, and the spanish guy keeps repeating "hello". and eventually hangs up. they are losers.

Yes they just sent me a text message saying that a family member has been in an accident, which i know was a lie. I was at my job so i called the number. and there was no answer and "the voicemail has not been activated"...how funny right? but the weird thing is that this number: (551)-580-9474 called my job back and it sounded like a recording. spanish recording saying the same thing over and over about some money. these jerks need to pay for what they are doing.

My sister just received a call for this number say got a text from this number in spanish that a family member had been in an accident, etc. My sister call us and we found out this a scam.  The texter need a job to keep him busy.  My sister deleted message

this number just called I reported it to ATT and let them know this number is is on reverse lookup as a threating number

This just happened to me literally 1 hr ago. Same exact story (crashed into BMW, need to pay for damages).
Called cops, they couldnt do a thing.

this number called my entire family saying they had my son hostage on 4/2/13, stupid thing is they even called the one they were claiming to have hostage. they were going to kill him for crashing their BMW. i called the cops and was told there is nothing they can do. sad that things like this can go on and there is no legal action being taken against these low lives..

got a text from this number in spanish that a family member had been in an accident, etc.  I texted back in spanish that I was busy and to call the cops/ambulance.  A spanish guy with a heavy puerto rican accent calls me back and says that my brother had crashed the back of  his cousin's car and that his cousin is a killer and that they have my brother tied up in a basement.   I says to him "funny cause my brother has been dead for 3 years".  He then says well its your son or cousin but he says he's related to you.  Me:  Well then kill him and send me the body.  He then hung up. LMAO..... Crazy people.

This number called my sister in law to tell her they kidnapped her brother, my husband.  She was hysterical and called the whole family scrounging up the ransom.  Will be reporting this number to the police, hopefully this idiot on the other end will get arrested.

My friend got a call from this number yesterday.. Spanish speaking sounded of a puerto rican accent.. They said they had a "family member" because he killed a girl who was near the area when your family member dropped a car on them. This whole crazy story that sounded bogus from the beggining.

Iam leo sister, that was horrible this people need to pay for this, i had the worst time of my life. i almost lost 500 dollars

S***, they have just called my sister saying that they had me kidnapped. But thanks God she called me and realize that I was ok, and hung up the phone. I told her that it was probably a scam and that she most called the police immediately.

He called my number too asking for $2500. he was upset saying they beat up a guy who hit his car and wanted 2500 to fix it. Supposedly, the man they beat up gave them my number.

Number called my phone and asked for ransom for a hostage. Spanish speaking and slang vocabulary. Spoke about a violent abdunction and threatened to kill hostage.
