Has any one had trouble with their phone after getting this number- like a virus.

my phone record keeps showing that I'm calling out to 555-555-0000 and immediately after a telephone number I have blocked will call my telephone number.  I have never called this number, do not even know who it is ???

Me ,too. I have Earthlink, and an outgoing call to 555-555-0000 shows up after a blocked number calls my phone

I got a call from this, and then afterward also got an odd call that went on for 6 or so minutes, of someone talking and conversing in the background.  I could never hear what they said.

I also have Earthlink voice, and of the three times my log shows that this number was called from my node once was immediately after a blocked number called in and the others were random.

When I call the number I hear a constant stream of what sounds like radio commercials and talking in some Asian language. I can understand "stuff" going on behind the scenes with your phone service but to have strange calls like this show up in your call log is not cool - what if your log was subpoenaed for some reason and linked to some illegal activity?

I think I'll contact Earthlink about this just for heck of it.

I have Earthlink and it looks like the call to 555-555-0000 happens immediately AFTER I receive a call from a blocked number.  Not sure if this is only on Earthlink

Check your local phone company. In New York, it is Verizon, and when I called this no., the recorded message said, "This is Verizon. Your telephone number cannot be verified." And it disconnected.

I think it is the Verizon phone installers/repairmen/you-name-it. What the person is doing is something I'd like to know.

I get the same issue as the first note listed.
