My parents got a call from this women claiming that she worked for the IRS and that she wanted to let my mom know that my father would be arrested in 20 mins unless they pay there bill. My mom tried to confirm with them what my fathers SS number was but they said they couldnt give out the number. So my mom asked for all there info and got Mr David Williams as the supervisior and this number. Lucky my dad wasnt home and she called me. I thought it was werid... the IRS doesnt arrest people! They had heavy Indian accents and my mom said they were very hard to understand. BE WARE!!!!!

This number just called my landline. Upon hearing a foreign voice, I hung up. She called right back. She stated she worked for the Dept of the Treasury and that there was legal action filed against "my name". She asked if I was aware of this, and I said no. She said I would need to take down the name and number of her supervisor and call him, and that he would inform me about the supposed legal action. I wrote down the name and number, and after looking at called ID, realized the number she gave me to call was identical to the number she called me from. I assumed this is one of the scams I've recently heard about calls going outside the U.S.
The name she gave me for  the "supervisor" is David William.

Received a voice message to call back Debbie Williams, supervisor, regarding a legal action against me and to call right away. Called the number and Steven Sebastian answered, with a thick accent. He stated that Debbie Williams is not available. He continued by saying that he is from the legal dept. of the US Treasury and that I owe IRS tax money. He also threatened by saying if I do not make the payments at Walmart that an arresting officer will come get me and put me to jail for 6 months. When he was asked to provide additional info, such as his IRS ID#, valid# to call and address, he started stuttering and could not provide the info. At the end he hung up instead. This is a scam...do not fall for this call!!!

These scammers cannot even get the Department they are calling from correct. It goes from Department of Legal Affairs to Department of the US Treasury. They hang up when they cannot get the script correct and then call back. They threaten legal problems and enforcement action will be taken if you do not call them back. Todays caller was Vien Tylo and English was not his first language.

Just hung up with this idiot saying David Williams from the IRS who was going to have my husband and I arrested for a tax debt we don't have.  He said we had 40 minutes to show good will, provide them with some funds and make arrangement for the rest as soon as possible or federal agents were going to come to our door and take us away. I must admit, he had me going for a minute, until I realized there were other voices in the background claiming the same thing all with an Indian accent.  I ask him to hang on for a minute and when I came back I told him I had connected our local police in on the call and for him to repeat what he had just told me.  He hung up.  I have called our local police and am waiting for them to arrive to make a formal complaint.  I'm sure they are making a fortune, they have to be stopped.  I'm calling my local legislators, and making sure they start some type of investigation to put a stop to this.

She was not authorized to tell me more but I was to call back and speak to David Williams at the US treasury. She could not tell me which unit she was with and had me repeat the phone number back to her.  Called back for the heck of it,he id # 11738. This was about back taxes that i owe. He must think people are crazy enough to beleive this. The irs don't work this way. I have had dealings  with them before on tax issues. Told him that I do not owe any back taxes for the reason I have earnings in ss only so I do not have to file because I am not over my income. So if you get a call like this it is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do pay anything.

Ryan Anderson with an accent from India says If I require proof of his credentials, he will start arrest procedings for a tax debt. His Department of Legal Affairs number is 11536 and he says his supervisor David Williams is in a meeting. Told me to hire a criminal attorney. Just hang up and post on sites like this.

This was in the news. Its a scam operation claiming to be the IRS.

Max called me today.  4 times!!!!!  He said he was starting action against my name and the cops would be at my door within 24 hours.  

How stupid are they.  Really stupid.  I would love to meet them in person.   Face to Face.  They hang up when you ask them to come and see them.   They are cowards.  More likely just cowsssss.

This is a scam... Don't give any information or money.   Try to get there address and say your sending money and give it to the proper athorities.   What a bunch of %&(%%$**))&*

She had a thick accent, which when I have googled this 559-328-2353 people have reported as Indian. However, I had an encounter with a puppy scam artist from Cameroon whose contact number began with 559. They have thick accents too

I returned their call and did a Roy D. Mercer on them (basically this is a DJ from Tulsa that did prank calls and threatened to "whip their a**"  look it up on the internet)  spoke to Robert and he threatend to have me arrested.  When I asked him how big he was because if this didn't work out "someone was going to get an a** wuppin" he said "are you threatening me" and I said "no, you are threatening me" and I offered to whip his a** again. He hung up.  Tried to call back to have some more fun but they blocked my number.  This is a scam.  don't just sit back, call them, record the conversation and play it back at parties.
If everybody did this they would quit.

Have received 2 calls from an Indian gentleman said his name was Richard Morris, calling from the Dept. of the Treasury.
He stated that I had a law suit pending against me and I needed to call him ASAP.  If I did not call I needed to contact a lawyer because not calling would cause enormous headache for me.  

So ridiculous!!!!

I have had calls from this number and another number in the Bay Aeria from this man.  I know that he is a A H Scammer but what I dont know is why no one wants to deal with him. I called the IRS and got the run around and so far PD dont care. Is thewre someone slse besides Smith and Wessen that can stop him???????

Just received a phone call from this person who left several message on my phone.  He did have a thick middle easterner accent.  He stated that the if I didn't pay $3600 in 40 minutes that I would be arrested by an IRS agent and put into jail for 6 months.  I asked him to fax the documentation to my attorney.  He said he couldn't do that.  I also told him that I am near an IRS  office and that i could drop off money there.  He got angry and upset.

My wife received a voicemail from max with dept of affairs. But was looking for my mother. Need to call right away or face being arrested. What a joke. Middle easterners have nothing better to do. I called them the next day and went off on them. Do not fall for this. Nobody can be arrested for debt remember that. Sued yes not arrested.

I just got this call today.  Same names and number.  When I told them I just moved to the county, I lied, they hung up

Got a call from this number and the Indian gentleman said he was calling from the Dept. of the Treasury.
He stated that I had a Pending TAX issue and that I would be getting a call from David Williams from the IRS.
Can't wait till Mr. Williams calls.  I can play this game too.

Dude said he was officer Robert Martin from law enforcement he could not supply me with which branch of law enforcement or a badge number. He had a thick indian accent. I have previously talked to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation where they informed me that this is a scam.But I proceeded to tell him what he could do with his self can't say what that was.
