I'm not dumb and already looked into this Steve Clark. This so called scammer is calling my work and harassing me on line by my email, saying I owe money for a payday loan... I've already contacted this Steve Clark. Could'nt even give me law firm he was with. I told him I already checked into him. He once again threatened me. Get a real job!!!!

Caller threatened that the police come arrest me tonight and booked for smuggling drugs into the country.  What the hell???  I started laughing because I thought it was a joke and the guy said, "Well, when you are being arrested tonight at your doorstep, you see if you laugh"  wow!  Really?? Then I asked, "so you're calling to warn me?  Why are you calling me?  If this is real, why would you call me to give me a heads up?"  He said "I wish you good luck mam and I suggest you get a lawyer"  I said "ok, Thank you for the advise!"

Received calls all the time, several today with threating messages. Called from my cell and they wanted me to verify name, phone number. They also call from 516-833-3172, 209-729-0031 and 334-578-9986. I asked them to take my number off their list.

I received a call from the same people only they said they were from Mark Brown and Associates, the number that they used was 559-838-0290. They said I was a litigant in a lawsuit that was pending and I need to call them back at this number for more information. When I asked for more information, I wanted the lawyers name, their Barr Assocation number, their address, they said they would call me everyday at my work and make my life miserable. I told them I was disabled and they would have a hard time calling my work. They began shouting at me over the phone so I hung up. I called back to say I was going to call the authorities, and the man began singing a song very loudly over the phone. This place is definately a scam job. Please beware!

I was repeatedly called by 5598380290.  Same story as everyone above.  I have reported it to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center and to the Los Angeles Police Department.  I had to change my bank account information because they had that information too.
I am afraid to inform them of my complaints because I don't want people at my place of employment or my family getting calls.  They said the name of the office was Neil Richardson and Associates.  I have also been told that it is the Law Office of Jess Bedore and Anderson Law Associates.  They also told me they were collecting on something that had to do with Cash Advance but they couldn't tell me the name of the company because it could compromise the case.
They dictated a letter I was supposed to fax that admitted guilt and apologize.
How do we stop this?

This caller identified himself as Bill Smith and had a very strong accent and threatened me with legal action if I didnt call him back . He also called my son and asked for me . they must be getting their information and numbers from hacking our emails !! I will place a report with ic3.gov

I received a call from these individuals and I was told that my name was used in a legal matter as a reference when I began to inquire I was told to just do as I was told and not worry about it.

These people were calling from a Dallas TX number now they are calling from a California number. They even called my job from the TX number I threatened them then they started calling from a different # same person. They were trying to get me to call another number it was crazy.

I've gotten calls from a NY number and a CA number. They claim they are based in NY I had a Mark Williams and a Robin Wilson calling now some other guy is calling with an american name and this THICK as ever accents. They are claiming cashnet is suing me and these are very serious charges and blah blah blah called my coworkers over 50x at work and threatened them. Now would a real PROFESSIONAL law office do this? NO! Would a real debt collector do this? NO I called the company I had a loan w/ they said this is a scam and they've even called some of their employees now theyre calling my friends. Change your number and TELL THEM WHERE TO SHOVE IT

I received a voicemail from Eric Watson also, he left me a voicemail that said I need to call him back or my attorney does. I received calls from him a couple months ago but his name was not Eric Watson...what are your thoughts have you heard anything for awhile. This is something that doesnt make sense and there is no need for them to call people without saying who or where they are from.

"Eric Watson" with the same indian/paquistanese accent called me at work. He said someone hada lawsuit against me because I'm a criminal. When I asked who was suing me he threatend me saying I was going to die because I was a criminal. I asked, rather, demanded him to stop calling and he said he was not.

I decided to check a savings account at bank of america that I no longer use and noticed thatevery couple weeks a 44 dollar charge was being sent back from a company called 200cash.com. That's when the phonecalls started..  I contacted a lawyer about this and he said they are next to impossible to track down because they use prepaid phone numbers and change them very often to keep from being detected. I have also reported them to the FTC several times.  I have 6 of their voicemails saved on my phone as evidence and have wrote down every instantance I have spoken or heard from them. I have since closed that account which is why their calling now I assume.

Got a call from them today. Acusing me of check fruad, eft fraud and not paying back a payday loan...lol He atarted reading off crap about tile such and such saying I need a lawyer. So to make a long story short I had a friend call them pretending to be a lawyer. They hung up right away.

I received three calls this morning and after the threats and harassment, I obviously told the call to remove my number from his database and he started to threaten me again. I hung up and called back to look for a different caller whom would be more reasonable (right!!!!). It was worse and the calls increased in frequency. I did a reverse phone check on google and traced it to Porterville, CA. I notified the local police department and I hope they finally put a stop to it.

I have received harrassing phone calls from Steve Clark as well. Ive already paid that a**hole over 1,000 bucks and now hes contacting me again saying I owe something else for another loan. Is he still harrassing you? I have fled a complaint with the FTC and in the process of filing one with the Attorney gen. I cant believe these a**holes.

Yep...they have been calling me almost everyday this month. Eight time yesterday! Always the same spieal.

THESE PEOPLE JUST STARTED CALLING ME TODAY... I GOOGLES THE NUMBER AND AFTER READING ALL THESE POSTS AND LISTENING TO THE MESSAGE... I AM CREEPED OUT. MY HUSBAND IS LISTENING TO THE MESSAGE AS WE SPEAK. HE'S CALLING THEM NOW. THEY TOLD HIM I WAS BEING SUED BUT WOULDN'T ANSWER WHY... MY HUSBAND STARTED GOING OFF ON HIM BUT I MADE HIM HANG UP BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT ANY CRAZY CALLS AFTER.
