I only heard '1678'. Apparently the first part of the message must have played before my machine was ready to accept a message. There should be hefty fines for all spammers especially ones using auto dialers.

Get rich quick scammer/spammer with a recorded message, purporting to be 'getting back' to me about requested information about how to make lots of money by returning phone calls. I have been told by the FTC that automated sales calls are illegal.

I received a call today to my cell phone which went to my voice mail. Male, introduced himself as Scott. Left a message for a call back to 618-355-1678 to hear a recorded message about "cash opportunities". Claimed he was not calling to sell anything. I did not call the number back. I think he got my number because of a "for rent" ad I placed on craigslist just a couple hours before the call.

Annoying, didn't answer the call but they left a recorded message. I reported them to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY since I registered my phones as soon as the registry began.

The call was made from (559) 546-1178 and was a voicemail message alleging that they were responding to my request for information. THAT IS A LIE! No matter what number you push on your phone, it doesn't opt out or indicate that you'll be removed from their call list. The voicemail message just keep repeating itself. Voicemail messages ARE left with that same recording. When you call the number, it is yet another voicemail message advising you to listen or to call another number (618) 355-1678 to listen to their pitch. Keeping tabs on all the numbers that call my cell phone so that AS SOON as I find out who to report it too, I'll have the list of numbers and website addresses that they tend to refer you to.
