I rec'd this call on my cell phone 3x within an hour. I answer and there is no one there. Be careful! Scams everywhere folks. I went on my provider service and put them on the ignore list.

I received a call from this number.  I answered it, because I was curious and they asked for me, but I asked what this was about, and they just hung up.  Obviously not a legitimate company.

Same as above, but when my daughter answered, a gay guy, chewing gum asked for me by name and for personal information such as income ... she refused to divulged the information, the caller said he would call back and disconnected.

3 hours later the phone rang with the same number and I did not wait for the caller to give a pitch, I said "what do you want", the line went dead.

I have used this same action with another similar number and have not heard from them again.

same here, 2 calls daily, never get an answer. When calling the # it says, number is disconnected.

This caller identifies themselves, on the Caller I.D., as Merchant Care.  They called twice while I was out; but based on what else I read on the Internet from this phone number, I suspect they are a Sweepstakes company, possibly from overseas.  This suspicion is based on the fact that other recipients hear Asian voices; and my man is an avid Sweepstakes player--not a good thing--so I suspect they are a Sweepstakes Company.  If you have a phone company that has digital service (such as Comcast), you can block ANY number from getting through, either by entering that number yourself (through the Comcast website system), or by contacting a phone company rep to do that for you.

Number called my cell i called it back and it said disconnected

Keep calling my cell and same thing as above....no one talking they just hang up. But upon calling back it says it is disconnected

Annoying as s***. 3rd call in the last two days. I picked up the phone, didn't say "Hello?" but instead waited for them to talk, sounded like a young girl. I guess it fits with the "oriental" comment above.

rec'd two calls today from 559-586-9372, first time the answering machine got it and all that was on there was a bunch of people talking which sounded like call center background noise.... The 2nd call came in at 8:13PM EST... I stated hello and hear two oriental women talking... I say hello again and they hang up.

I received a call, from this number and when I immediately called back, it stated that the number was disconnected or changed, and no longer available!  Can someone please explain what these calls are about?!  It's so frustrating!
