This guy is now on the Senior People Meet dating site, with fake pictures trying to con women out of money, stupidly using same name and emails beware of  him!  Internet love scam sites has him John Rodrigues and Bob Campbell (petroleum engineer that had me going for a week now, professing love to me, which was big mistake, I'm 56 and overweight, cute young guys in fake pictures  I know wouldn't say that too me) I used to work in real estate loan fraud investigatons and identity theft, worked on large FBI cases and Secret service cases, now starting an non profit to help those, but I'm serious thinking about the dating site issues, no security or at least starting a list of those owners of site that care and do background checks and do have security. Don't join Senior People Meet or especially sister site BBP Big and Beautiful People unless you are prepared to be cautious and do what I didnt, ask questions about local they supposedly live in, if they can't answer, they are a fake and anyone traveling at time of contact, beware....

I got 2 calls from this number (559-821-2411), and the man had such a thick accent I could not understand most of the conversation.
I saved on my voice mail and it went something like this:  This messatge is intended for Susan****.  Susan, the  I need you or your (word I didn't get) attorney to call me.  The issue is a (word or words I didn't get) substitute (not sure about this as couldn't understand it even 4th time I listened).  My name is (gave names, one was Juan something) and (missed a lot I couldn't understand but then gave a very long number with lots of 6's).
I heard something about 'you or your lawyer must contact me' and the end was:  Now Susan if you do not call and I do not hear from your attorney either, the only thing I can do is wish you good luck, good by, and take care.
I don't wonder how they got the number, as there is SO MUCH info on the internet, much of which is totally inaccurate.  There is now a website called 'spokeo.com' that has way too much info, and for me, 3/4 of it is totally inaccurate, that gets info from anything you've ever completed in your entire life (surveys, applications, etc.).
What I would like to are 3 things: 1, how to stop people like the 559-821-2411 people from callling; and, 2, how to stop websites from publishing info, particularly inaccurate info; and, 3, how to correct inaccurate info.  For instance, my grandfather died in 1985 and I am STILL getting mail, calls and even e-mails for him!
Thank you very much for any information you can give me.  Sincerely, Susan :)

I just got a call from them at work telling me the exact same thing from a loan debt collection company he was on and named David Jones... who in the world would have a heavy accent middle eastern guy with a name of David Jones??? He then told me some BS about briefing through e-mail that there is a collection lawsuit agains me... I was like wouldn't Legal matters be sent to your home address not your e-mail?!? I demanded them to send me the legal documentation(if there is one)stating all what required of me and what is the lawsuit against and company profiles and such, sent to my home and not through my e-mail and call me to my home phone and not my work number... He was mumbling on and on about I needed to talk to an officer and if I don't talk to him, he then told me good luck? He didn't want to give out any company name or anything he just out of the blue called me on my work number... This is an absolute scam they are doing because my sister in law got the call a couple of months ago and almost fell for it.

I received a call yesterday and today from this same number.  Some Indian speaking man says I owe  money for an online payday loan I received from Instant Cash.  I told him I never received money from an Instant Cash. He said prove it in court and hung up on me.  He also had personal info of mine, like my employer, relatives, my e-mail address, and the name of my bank.  He said that I will be prosecuted and put in jail. He claimed he was from some law firm. I heard alot of Indian talking people in the background, like a callcenter or something.

May be wrong but my research is that internet cash advance companies are somehow involved.  Either they have hacked their sites or they companies are selling your info to others.  It's scary, I have yet to hear of these people actually getting money out of your account unless you authorize them to take money out.  However the identity theft opportunities are scary if they have all this info.  Make sure you contact the Credit Companies and have them put an alert on your name/SSN and notify your bank.  I'm amazed how they have not been tracked down.  They operate out of central California and I can't imagine how many people have paid these scammers.

I got a call forom a Stephanie someting or another today...threatening me to call or I would regret it. She called me on my work phone! I have been harassed like this in the past and it has GOT to stop. The FBI said they could do nothing because these people are out of the country. They seem to know all about me....sketchy.....but they know a lot. They must be selling names to other places. I am so tired of this.  This number goes right to voicemail. She said the "charges will be filed...and it will all come down on you."....then she says Goodbye and Good luck. PLEASE.  But how do you stop these calls?

I too got the call from the (559-821-2411) today and he mentioned his name to be a Mark Henry and that he needed to receive a call from me or my attorney. I tried to call the number back to find out why he called and the number says that the mailbox is full and their no room to leave a message. But I don't understand what he's calling me for cause I haven't signed up for anything. There's a number for the govt to block telemarketer, but I don't think you can block other number unless you call the phone company.

Got call on cell and call today at work.  The person who left the message and gave my intern the name of David Jones.  When I called on my cell to address whoever it is to not call my work the phone was just answered with "How can I help you"..no name of business.  I asked for David Jones and the guy told me that he was his paralegal and had just left for the courthouse.  I asked for the name of the business.  He refused but I kept asking...He said Anderson Law Firm.  I asked his name...didn't understand first name but Attorney Kotterman.  I demanded to have their address and he would not give it to me.  He eventually hung up on me as I told him to do not interrupt me.  I tried calling back but they would not answer or hung up on me.  The message that I got on April 1st was threatening and ended with "If you do nct call me back...good luck"  This is all illegal

This is a scam -- call them and say you want your number removed. Then, I would encourage you to continue to call them over and over, although even this level of annoyance won't begin to repay them for the intimidating and harassing messages they have obviously left you. DO NOT give them any of your information. I repeat, THIS IS A SCAM!!!

These people are CRAZY!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!!! I'm glad that I searched their number before returning a call to them. They have been calling my number for a couple of months now. This morning I actually had a vm on my work number when I came in to the office. They said I owed money and that I was in a lot of trouble, they also gave me the whole speech about God be with you while this unfolds... CREEPY!!! I called the number to give them a piece of my m ind, but they answered and just hung up on me. I called 4 times with the same results, so obviously this was a clue already that this was some kind of scam. On my munch break they called my cell and I answered acting like I didn't know anything. I told them if they had anything to say they could contact my lawyer and started giving them a p hone number, but then they hung up. I called them back and told them what they were doing is illegal and that their business was going to be investigated and that i was calling the police. The Indian dude hung up. I called again and was yelling again and the dude said "I love you (name)" CREEPY SICK B*****D!!!  then he continued to tell me explicit things, I told him to keep going and that I liked it and then he hung up on me LOL!!! These a***oles didn't see that coming! Whatever you do, don't give them any kind of authorization and don't give them any info.

These ppl kept calling me telling them that I owe them $1,286.00. After getting into a heated discussion with the man named Julian, i finally said f you and hung up. He said he was from an attorney office by the name of Anderson Law Associates. Too bad that law firm doesn't exist. The man kept telling me i must pay the amount do or else i would be brought to California and jailed for fraud. Its funny on how i am in Ny and there is a 3 hr time difference, and he called me 8am ny time. That means he was up at 6am just to call and threaten me. I finally had enough and called the NYS attorney general's office.

My daughter last year before Christmas applied for a loan on line-which she did not get and ever since that day this has been a nightmare. They are calling my cell number 5-6 times a day. Now they are calling my other daughter who is in college and doesn't even have the same last name, as the one who applied for the loan. She was upset yesterday because they said they were with the FBI looking for her sister. I had already had the call 3 times before that so I knew. Today was the first time in 3 months that I got the call from a number that was from inside the United States. I called it back and I did go off on the guy and told him to get my number off of this list and that I was going to contact the police and the BBB. He said go ahead. So after I post this message that is what I am going to do. The calls are coming out of California. Until we get tough on these people with their crazy threats I am sure they are going to continue to call. I am concerned after reading these post that they have personal information. They have never said anything personal to me they just always say my daughters name. And as for the threats they are the exact same as the ones posted. When I find out who to contact I will let you all know. There is power in numbers!

My nickname is Moe, I have been getting these call for about 3 weeks or more.  They are calling my job and my home, trying to get me to pay a sum of money of $6,000.00, as if I borrow from some company  and  they are the attorney firm collecting for the company.

Read my message above. Let them know that you need to know what location the documents were filed and that you will research this and if you owe them the money, you will be more than happy to pay it back. Tell them you need a case number and location. Also, ask them for a number to call back and who to speak to.

I spoke to several attorneys that I work for. They have all indicated this is definitely a case of stolen identity. I waited for the so called paperwork I was suppose to get from them and it never came. I called Superior Court and asked them to do a search and see if I had any pending cases against me from a company by the name of Insta Cash and they indicated they showed nothing. I called my bank and asked them to do a search to see if in fact I had a deposit from this company or attempts to withdraw money from this company, and there were none. I have put a fraud alert with all three credit bureaus. I have closed my checking account and opened a new one. It has taken me at least 20 hours of work to attempt to block these people from taking what is not theirs. I suggest doing the same thing. Not that they will get far with my bad credit (smile) but at the very least using my information to obtain a job in the states and me not finding out until next years tax season. No thank you!
I have also put in a call to the Attorney General's office. Somethings gotta give!

Got the first call 3 months ago (home/cell phone) and it freaked me out.  But I did research and found many had received the same call.  I'm retired so they had no employer to call.  However they had all my information like all the other posters stated.  I called my bank to notify me of any withdrawal over $200 dollars before approved and contacted Trans Union (they notify the other two) to be notified upon any activity (new loans ect...).  However today when I was called I took a different approach.  I played along, when they asked my attorneys name I stated Richard (Dick) Head and his phone number was 1-800-Scr-ewU2.  The guy with the accent began to laugh and stated that was a good one.  Then he hung up on me.  Well I called back, 20 times from my number, to the point the guy shouted stop calling me.  Then they wouldnt answer my calls, so I blocked it.  Then he answered.  He again "shouted stop calling me I'm expecting calls on this line."  I called time after time for two solid hours.  Two wrongs don't make a right I know, but I figured what the heck.  My research has lead me to believe this is somehow tied into CashAdvanceUSA, either their info is being hacked or they are selling it.  It's a scary industry out there (cash advance) so I'm not sure how this is coming about.  Good luck and don't provide them any info or acknowledge/confirm any info.

I am so tired of these phone calls.  I think they are selling names and they get info from other places. Makes me mad that they have my work phone number.  I guess do not ever put anything on the net...anyone can get to it....

We have been getting messages from this same place off and on for a couple of months.  They apparently have our phone number mixed up with someone else's name because the name of the person they are trying to reach does not sound anything like our name; but who can tell, they have such a heavy accent you can't really understand much of what they are saying.  Then they read the same information other people have posted, word for word.  Who can you file a complaint with?

Started getting the same call on 4/10-harrassed me and my mother.  Claimed they are from Anderson Law Assoc and the debt originated from Insta Cash.  I could not understand the initial caller, the accent was very heavy.  He then sent me to "Michael Cotter" who at first claimed to be an attorney then later said he was a paralegal.  Asked for my "attorney information" and read some bogus subpeona that I was about to be "served" with.  When I pressed them for particulars of this "payday loan" I supposedly never paid back, I was told that information was not in their data base???!!  I was very upset and scared, today a friend told me to google the number and I came across all these posts.  Now at least I can sleep better.  Who do these people think they are?  I am so pissed that people are being harrassed like this. I will be filing a complaint, changing my bank account, and contacting the credit bureaus today because they also had all my information-that's the scariest part.

Today they called again I let it go to voice mail they left the same message like all the others. So I googled the number and found out it was a fraud. As I was on the internet they called back with the same threats. Do these people know that we have the ability to google???? So not cool!! They just don't know who they are dealing with!

I was at work  this morning when I saw this number on my cell phone, I was just getting started on work so I let it go to my voicemail. As soon as a message rang through I checked it. Unlike most of the other comments on here my voicemail was from a woman named Lisa and I could not understand her last name. It told me that I needed to call myself or have  my attorney call them immedatly as the matter was extremly time sensitive she also added that if I failed to call back " all I can do is wish you good luck as this situation unfolds on you. Those last words are the kind that give me a chill so I called back right away, when I called I said I recieved a call and a disturbing message from this number and I want to know what it is about. They connected me to a so called legal assistant who told me that I would be going to jail for 3 counts of fraud to a payday loan company. I was scared as I had applied for several before christmas but I never recieved any money so I figured that I would not have to worry about it. I took my break from work 30 minutes into my day and told the guy now that I was speaking to that I did not know what was going on. He sounded shocked and acted like I should have been aware of what was going on but he would read the affidavit as long as I did not interupt him. Halfway through i interupted him and he yelled at me saying that if I did not want to know what the consequences for my actions were that he would just hang up, I let him finish and told him that i had never recieved a payday loan. He said you can settle that in court in front of the judge. I told him I would do that. Then he told me that I owed the compay over 5,000 dollars to keep it from going to court. I told him I was not going to pay anything because I did not owe them anything. He then told me (this was the part that disturbed me the most he called them by name) he was going to call my boyfried and my employer (that I got fired from at the end of january) and tell them what I started to tell him that I did not work for that company and he had already hung up.
My morning went to pot, I even talked to my new boss about it in hopes that she could give me advice, she immeditly had me google the phone number and I found out it was fraud.
