This number just called me and asked for my husband, I told them he was not here, but I am his wife.

She states she is calling from H & R Block and must speak with him and only him. I told her this was not his number and she will not get ahold of him on this number so she might as well just talk to me. She hung up.. When I tried to call the number back, I get a message saying the number is invaild... Odd

Getting calls at home and work from this number.  A guy with a foreign accent making threats and wanting to know if I have an attorney.  I have researched them and found they are doing it to many other than me and are considered a scam operation.

Got this call as well. They guy had a foriegn possibly Indian or Hindu region accent. Was very threatening and completely unprofessional sounding. Asked for myself or amy lawyer to call them back. Said his name was Alvin Russell.

call from this number and threats of being taken to court. Trying to collect on a pay day loan . I do have  a pay day loan but it is not default on it. I think they pull their info from online pay day loan sites. I could not understand any of the callers that I spoke with. Calling from california.  I said this is a scam , and he said I will know in the mail on friday how serious of a matter this is.

My Mother called me terrified because she had received a call from this number and they threatend her by saying they were taking her to court within a couple of days if she didn't give her bank account number or pay a specific amount.  They informed her that she should hire an attorney for her court date on Tuesday (this is friday).  They didn't tell her who they were or the establishment they worked for.  Thank goodness for websites like these where others can share their experiences and make us aware of the scams that are out there.

These people are s**t heads and scam artists.  Do not be afraid of them, they can't hurt you.  Tell them to go to hell and tell them you are eating a big fat beef steak at the moment.  They are from India.  Say to them, " Hmmm-Hmm!  I sure love eating cows!"  That usually offends them.   Tell them to take a bath in that sewer infested Ganges River, they will leave you alone.   They're not from CA like they claim, they are not attorneys nor Law Officers.   SPREAD THE WORD.   When you receive calls like this, just tell them you need to call them back, then always Google the number before you call them back.  If you have a cell phone with free long distance calling, keep calling them back, remember to dial *67 so that your phone number is blocked, and call them Filthy Names and tell them to do perverted things.  Tell them Karma will come and bite them in the A**, but no one falls for their B.S..

This will help give you some revenge and peace of mind.

Some so called James Anderson called me from this # telling me i was going to have papers served on me for a loan said it was going to cost me $8000 in court cost and so on.....I called back pretending to be some one else telling them a message was left for me to call John Cena (WWE ) he said Mr Cena was not in the office but he could handle my case. Even ask if he knew John was a wrestler he said yes but he is a lawyer with his firm LOL.  I gave fake phone number and he said he had my files when I called him out he hng up LOL....So he wants to keep calling me so me and my sister have been calling him all day :) other numbers are 760-284-1401     408-837-0495   and he gets confused easily

i got a call from this number as well. they called my work and my cell phone. dont know who is behind this but need not to call work or my phone. this person also said that he was a attorney to my work and on my cell number he tryed to sale something.

I received a mess from these guys on my work phone. Are they for real, or just stupid. The way he talked with a heavy Indian accent sd that if i or my atty did nt call he could only wish me the best. I found the message to be funny the way he was spkeaking like it was really going to scare me i guess.

Called me and said they were gonna subpoena me to court if i didnt pay 800 dollars by oct 1. and had to make a payment of 438 and asking for my card info. and when i hung up they kept trying to call back. ive researched them online and it said they're a Scam!!

I started getting calls from this number yesterday. I did not recognize the number so I did not answer. They left a voicemail so I listened to it. They told me that myself or my attorney needed to call them back immediatly. They then went on to threaten me by saying "If you, or your attorney, does not c all them back that they can only wish me luck with what will happen to me" I called them back to see what was going on and they wanted me to pay an outstanding debt, which I do have by chance, but they did not want me to send a check or money order to them, they wanted me to fax a copy of my DL and my credit card information to them. I am not stupid I know that collection agencies do not handle business by fax.

I have a very good credit score and they called my work my cell and home saying if i my a lawyer or myself didn't call back good luck in court the name he left was Joseph Matthew or so he said to my boss. the call was from 559-823-5337.

They call me at school and home....I am a teacher, this is ridiculous...don't send them anything and tell them you will report them to the FTC immediatly!  What a crock...

They called my job and my home and had me freaked out...I did all of this research to come and find out that it's a scam!This is a major load off of my back,but now I just wonder how the hell did they get my information.

A man with a heavy Indian accent named "Brandon" told me that he was calling from "The Law Group of California" and that I needed to pay them immediately or else go to court.  He spouted "fraud", "federal offense", etc., to try and scare me.  He had all of my personal info.  I have been receiveing these calls for months, all from men with heavy Indian accents, and with each call they change the name of the Law Group, as well as the phone number from which they call.

Received this phone call from a new number today.  I have over 20 different numbers these scammers call from.  The caller id shows 559-823-5337 however, Mr. Russell from unknown business tells me to call back at 408-837-5337.  All he can do is wish me good luck as the situation unfolds on me.  I have had Clark Kent, Peter Parker, Alan Sherman, and the list goes on and on.  My cell phone is loaded with numbers that now come up as scam hang up on.  Truly ridiculous.  Reported back in June to FBI, Attorney General, local law enforcement, put a credit freeze on the credit bureau and there is nothing anyone can do.  Nearly 4 months.  They call my place of employment and also call my sister and brother stating they will go to jail if I dont pay them the money I dont clearly owe them.

Beware.  Check every number.  If you have legitimate debt contact them directly.
