"Alex" with "National" has called me several times over the last few months, usually asking about packaging equipment.  He asks if he can send me some free stuff then asks (in as fast and hard-to-understand voice as possible if he can use my name as a purchase order.  When I reply that I hadn't ordered anything he hangs up.  

Don't give this joker any more information than he already has.

Yeah, this guy called for the second time and says that he does all the lighting for our buildings. I said, "Oh really?". Then I told him that we do all of our business locally, and he said, "Oh, ok thanks for your time", and hung up. It's another Florida number that keeps calling.

I work in a law office and this number calls every week or month sometimes asking for our maintenance supervisor, when I tell them that we don't have anyone by this title they start fishing for information.  I just hang up on these idiots.

They continue to call. I have repeatedly told them to take us off the list.  This past time he said "Oh yeah?  What do we do?"  I told him I didn't care what they DID but they DON'T call here.  He then says, "Oh yeah?  You sure you don't want peanut butter?"  Really...

This is for the telemarketers in case they check this site:  If you want to successfully scam a company through telemarketing... be nice to the person that answers the phone.  At least you'd get a tad bit further with any morons that actually fall for the crap you're trying to sell.

Caller ID said Midway 561-200-2130 and I didn't recognize the number so I googled it and got this site. I am the maintenance manager here and the receptionist connected this person to my desk phone. I'm glad I found this site, it'll save me from having to deal with the likes of these people.

This guy just called my desk, asked to speak to my director whoms name he got correct, told me his name was Alex Currence and whats with the attitude, he then said he ran our property, i said "really?, well my director is at lunch he is not available at this moment" , he then told me he will be getting my bosses cell number to talk to him about me, i said well if you give me your return number i will have him call you, he said no ill call him and hung up. I told my boss about this and he laughed said not to worry about it, then i googled glad i did !

Telemarketer trying to obtain information by pretending that he had already been in contact with someone in the maintenance department.

THIS PERSON CALL MY MAINTENANCE DEPT AND SAID HE WAS DAVE ELECTRIC AND THAT HE WANTED TO SPEAK TO OUR MAINTENANCE PERSON. FIRST OF ALL WE DO NOT DO BUSINESS OUT OF STATE THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME WE GET THIS CALL FROM THIS NUMBER.

This is interesting because they just called my Plant Operations Department.  The guy asked for Frank, I asked if he was with a company and he stated he is our electrician and then stated Frank knew him.  I'm glad I googled the number because now I'll be prepared when or if he calls back.

Called asking for maintenance manager, and about our inventory. We do not do business with them so our receptionist hung up. They then called back just to call her a bi%h.
