This guy has called numerous times looking for someone who used to work at this office in the past.  The man never explained what he needed.  At first he said he was from an electrical company.  Once he spoke with another co worker of mine, he said that he was selling "chemicals."  He then abruptly hung up on him.

These guys are the classic slimeballs of telemarketers. Every text book line that should throw up a red flag was used. Thanks for the laugh!

Very very rude~ Asked for maintenance dept. He called twice in a row very rude!!!  All he said was he was the eletrician. Yeah right. We are in TN and he's from Fl. HAHA  RUDE RUDE RUDE  Lord,. I have no patience with these kinds of calls at my job.  I pray these people lose their voice forever!!! If you call them, you get a customer service voicemail wanting invoice number, name of company and problem.  I threatened with a lawsuit if they try to call again.

So funny, I just got a call today wanted maintenance department he said ?what his name, I can?t remember? then I said a name and he goes yeah yeah that?s who I?m looking for.  I told him he?s not here right now, then he started getting all pissed and wanted his cell phone, I told him I didn?t have one for him he told me to look it up I told him no and he goes is there anyone else there who can get his number, we are from some power company and need to talk to him about a job, I said I can take a message and have him call you back, then said well I?m at the home depot, what am I suppose to do just sit here and wait for him, I knew right then it was a scam, we don?t even have a home depot in our town......STUPID PEOPLE., then he hung up on me.

Just got a call asking on were to send the new maintance catalog. Acted like my buddies and I should know them. BEWARE

I got a couple of calls from these idiots. the first time is was 561-200-2138 that was johnson chemicals the second time it was 561-200-2137 and it was state power the guys name was ned. Both times they tried to talk to me like I was their friend and they knew me. I was look buddy i don't know anybody named ned. He just kept talking to me like we were best friends and talked all the time. I don't get how they think they are going to get anywhere when their calls are so fake???

Got a call from 561-200-2137 guys name was Tony and wanted the name of the maintenence manager, Told him that he was in a meeting and that I could take his number, He said forget it that they just wouldn't fo the job for us. Tried calling back and they were busy.

Just received a call from the people asking for the dude in charge of maintenance, claiming they were calling from a job site, when pressed further, they said they were from state power, when asked what it was in regards to I was told it was none of my business. Nice. Do people actually think they will get through talking to people like that? Especially any decent receptionist???!!!! PULEEZ

I'm not sure what kind of a scam that is but these people are idiots if they are trying to scam honest businesses in a rude manner like that.
Main idea - hang up on them and don't waste your time on trying to be polite to those people.

Just received call looking for maintenance dept. Said his name is Steve. We called there yesterday and the person that answered on his end wrote the name down so poorly he could not read it. Kept saying the person that called said it was very important. gave me a call back #240-786-4639. I have looked and it is also listed just like this one.

Called and said "Uh, heh, who's in charge of your maintenance department?"  I told him I'd have to take a message and he hung up on me loudly!  He's blocked!

These people contacted our office & threatened to shut off our power if we didn't give the number off some "refractor" on our electrical box.  Claimed he was at Home Depot & needed a part number from our electrical box.  Very rude & was not clear on what he was up to.

some very rude lady called my place of business and as she was sucking and smacking on her candy could not understand why whom she was asking for was not available to take her call...she was trying to get some numbers off of a certain type of equipment...which we do not do...we are a local business and it's none of their concern to know about our equipment...advised her to remove the candy she was suckin on our of her mouth and let's talk like humans do...she stated she would have her mgr call back...i told her to bring it and hung up.

says he is with State Power looking for our maintenance department. Was beligerant last time he called, so politely told him we are not interested and not to call here again. Have a nice day. then hung up.
