contrary to your belief, this company is not a "pay to play"--do your research

I have been getting these calls for years from all different "production companies"!  It's called "pay-to-play".  Unless you want to shell out $20K, just tell them your company doesn't "pay-to-play".  Good luck!

I was a featured guest on the show and I can state for a fact they are professional and reputable. They are making a difference and I have seen an uptick in business and they truly care about the issues that the "news" sensationalizes...I would recommend this program if your goal is to educate about issues the mainstream media do not cover..I have had nothing but positive experience

Received a call from Lisa from this number. They talked to our CEO and wanted to interview for In-View Series. Said that my CEO agreed to it but they never told him it would cost us $20,000. When I declined they started harrassing me and I told them I would be hanging up. I hung up. Was called back by Lisa's supervisor Yvonne and she told me to not hang up on her employees. I hung up on her.

Thank you all, just got my first phone call from Leonard Warren, it felt like a scam.

Called twice to schedule an interview to see if our company (that the caller knew aaabsolutely nothing about) was a "fit" (gullible enough) to "appear" (buy advertising on) their "news show" (infomercial series). Yes, their actual goal is to leverage your professional vanity in order to sell you advertising.

Ordinary telemarketers are more upfront when they waste your time.

This is a SCAM.. not real news.. they make you think it is a "new show" but al they want is for you to pay them a big "licensing fee"  

We get these calls all the time from florida scam companies..

Dear not a sucker...If you truly are in the KNOW...you would KNOW that; ONE company has absolutely NOTHING to do with the OTHER. Joan London never aired or hosted "The Profiles Series" Obviously you did not do you due diligence in research before coming to this ASSUMPTION. AS WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS NOT FACTUAL!

Yes you are a sucker. You can't see a good company if it slapped you upside your head. Do some research before drawing your conclusion!

I will say one thing about the Profiles Series as apposed to the program with Joan London. The profiles series IS guaranteed to air!! This company has worked hard to keep an upstanding reputation. Lou Gossett Jr. has retired and Larry king has taken over his position. There is NO comparison to these companies....Joan London was never the host of the Profiles series!  The profiles Series was the best company I have ever worked for and felt good at the end of the day; that I could sleep at night. Some people just draw conclusions from what others say; regardless of right or wrong! Do some more research people. Remember "When one company in the industry gets a black eye..the good companies suffer" and it is not right!

not a sucker describes exactly my experience. I actually went through the process with the second call from the Executive Producer who claimed to have discussed my company with Courtney. He felt we were a great fit for their program on "The Power of Music." Then went on to demonstrate that he had not a clue about our company or the concerns I expressed to Courtney. Totally a pay for infomercial scam. $24,900 + $3,000 location fee to be in an infomercial (that who would watch?) and have some commercial and promo footage. Who needs it?

What did you find out? Is it legit? Did it cost you money? They called me yesterday.

Received a call from Andrew Wohl 561-279-3550 ext. 125.  My assistant reported that Mr. Wohl claims to be the producer of a show called InView and they are producing a program on improving quality of life in the elderly.  I certainly doubt the validity, but I left a message to check on it.  I'm located in Clearwater, FL.

This is a telemarketer trying to sell advertising time on show called Profile Series.

Thanks, Not a Sucker (above).  I was wondering if this was the same Joan Lunden scam and it is.  I work for a small medical device company and have been hounded by these pay per view "producers" for years (current and previous jobs).  I recently learned how to use our Virtual PBX phone system to send certain calls straight to voicemail.  This is one of them!  Cheers!

got the same kind of call from a Sharon something.  They want $24,900 for "production costs" to have your product put on their show "hosted" by Larry King.  The "hosting" part is a pre-recorded Larry King just giving an intro to the piece.  They read from a script, they try to rush you into signing and make the production date pretty close so you feel the sense of urgency to get everything done.  I've actually seen this same exact scam before but using Joan Linden or London or whatever her name is-- if you search that scam you'll see plenty of entries about it.  the terms were the exact same.  This might be good if you're looking for something to put on your website to lend credibility, but for people who are in the know, it's simply paid advertising.

The Profiles Series is a production firm from Florida. They have 2 different series The Profiles and In View with Larry King. I thought it was something funny, but they have done a whole bunch of cool programs for the Discovery channel. They call me for my concept of storm shelters because of a program on disasters. I can not be part of the program due to lack of material, but they are for real. I have seen their programs. Check them out, they are all over You Tube.

Tony Diaz called me, too, from InView with Larry King.  Wanted to do an "educational" program on building a sustainable future.  Yada yada yada . . . .  I didn't call back.

"Tony Diaz" called from this number, three times, claiming to represent Lou Gossett Jr. interested in producing a movie on environmental activists. . . .

They call regarding tv interview asking to talked personally with me for more info.They said for a 'Profile Series'. Phone number is from FL and I am living in TX. A TV interview? no name for the company or TV channel

Received a call from this number also, asking for more information to do a story on their Profile Series regarding Medicine. A interview from a TV show in FL and we live in TX?. The person who call was Janet.
