To everyone saying this is Florida Power and Light - I would disagree, as I don't live or work in Florida, but Wisconsin.  I would tend to believe another website similar to this one who says it is a headhunter looking for IT professionals, as those are the 2 individuals this man always calls for.  He is going to be dumped into voicemail from now on.

I keep getting calls from this number and they never leave a message.  I don't live in Florida and haven't lived in Florida since 2008 so if it is FPL, they've got the wrong number/person.  Just wish they'd stop calling me.

Received a message on my Voice Mail from 561-214-6092. The lady's voice said she was with Florida Power & Light and I had purchased an air conditioner thru one of their time payment plans and they needed to schedule a time to send someone out to verify the installation. I have lease the condo in Lehigh Acres, Florida for 2 years but the A/C unit is not a new one. Obviously it was a mistake.

Don't know who this is, but, if it's from Florida, they are wasting their time, never lived there.  They called 3 times in a 3 min. span.  I blocked their number.

FP&L automated call to advise of a meter reading and asking to put dogs away.

It's just FPL calling. They only call me once a month when they're coming to read the meter. If they're calling every week there's probably something going on with your account.

Receive numerous calls, weekly, from this number.  It is blocked and never leaves a message.

It isn't FPL....I don't live in Florida, never have and don't think I even know anyone in Floridal....No message; hung up....called back-discontinued number.

I saw this number on my phone, tried to call back and it said it was disconnected.
I then realized I had received some calls from FPL employees and this is the number that shows up.
Apparently it is a generic number from FPL, but it does not accept return calls, you have know the number of the person who called you.

it is Florida Power and Light  reminding you that they are going to do their monthy meter reading and to unlock and gates etc

I always get a call from FPL once a month from a recording, saying that they are coming out the next day to read the meter. And, if you have dogs to make sure they are secure.However, today 4/21, I missed taking the call and wondered who could this be. It bothered me too that when you call the number back it's disconnected. There definately should be a better mechanism FLP can use, other than leaving people hanging. No message was left.

This is FPL!! They need to leave a message!! I have gotten them and it isa recording that they are going to check the meters. They also ask that you leave gates open and pets inside.  Why??

It is the FPL switchboard.  Calls coming out of FPL corporate offices evidently will show this number on caller ID.  The reason you received the call could be for any number of reasons, including a wrong number on their part.

It is FPL informing you that your meter will be read the following day incase you have a dog you might want to put inside for their safety (as well as the dog's). It is automated so calling back will not work. It doesn't always leave a message being that it is automated and not human!

This is not FPL FYI!! I don't know who it is but the power company does not call you and hang up!! They may call you if there is a problem reading your meter (like your crazy dog running loose in the yard or the gate is locked and they can't get in but otherwise rest assured they leave a message.

This is more likely an internet dating service or your voice mail number or some pervert calling you!! File a police report and FTC report!! I DID!

RECEIVED 2 CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND NO VOICE MSG. TRIED TO CALL BACK AND WAS TOLD THE NUMBER WAS DISCONNECTED. I AM A CUSTOMER OF FPL AND IT IS VERY UNLIKELY THIS IS FROM FPL. ALL ACCOUNTS ARE CURRENT AND THERE IS NO REASON FOR FPL TO CALL.

got the same call from fpl saying elec was going to be cut off.  called and fpl did not know anything about it and assured me that the elec was not going to be cut off.  I will wait and see as the bill has no balance on it now
