This stupid number calls me atleast 2 times a day and never gives up, please leave me alone.

Called this # back - "United Recovery Systems"
I have called five times to be removed from their list - they state "not looking for you"
Report them!

This # does not give up - many calls! I do not pick up calls that do not id a name.

Just called the number from my work phone; "Houston Texas" is actually United Recovery Systems. LOL

I thought so.

Caller ID showed local number. I answered and when asked who they were, the lady said, "Houston Texas"... I asked again, "who is this??", and I swear, she said it again, "Houston Texas". I hung up after I told them I was not the person they were looking for.
**On a side note, if that was a debt collector, aren't they required to disclose the name of their company when asked who they are??**

Man called this morning from this number, asked for me by first name and then asked if we knew "your neighbors, the Friedmans," saying that he was trying to find them. He mentioned an address that isn't ours and seemed to want me to give our address, which I didn't. When it became clear he wasn't going to get any information from me, he said thank you and hung up. Tone was oddly formal, with a slightly British accent.

My neighbor received a call from this number, asking for me -- and all sorts of personal questions.  Said they were an 'old friend'.  This has got to be illegal.  Not only are they unwanted by me, but they went to the trouble of looking up the phone number for a neighbor, pose as an old friend, and try to get personal information about me ?

I hope someone can help me figure out how to report these people.

This is the same name that came up on my caller id looking for my ex-brother in-law.  I have not seen him in over 25 years.

Just got my 2nd call of the day at 9:09am...guess this will be one of those "dozen days" - I don't have time to post all the calls from one day but this has been going on for quite a while...

numerous calls from this number,caller will not identify herself in most cases...she gives name of kelley young in some calls. But never the company she is calling for.

I'm on a do not call list yet I continue to get call.  Please block this caller from calling again

Someone from this number called my neighbors and started asking all sorts of questions about my family???  What is this about?  When I called them back they hung up on me.

Debt collector - called my work first then cell phone.  When I told her I was at work she continue to ask questions so I hung up then she called my cell phone.

I receive a call from them this morning they are a collecting agency for Target that is what the man told me. I asked him to send me a copy of the bill to my house and I would contact him after I looked into it or he could call me back in a week after i received the bill and he said he needed my checking account info before he could do that. Well he got the old Dial tone after that.

Turns out that when I called them back my # is under a different name.  They promised to remove me from the list.

This people have been calling my son 3 or 4 times a day, asking for someone I try to contact them, but first they ask for your name and other information that I refuse to answer. May be we neet to report this to a some goverment agency.

It's a company called United Recovery they claim to be a collections agency for American Express. Given I never have had and American Express Card I am not sure what they were trying to get. They buy block numbers in all states. They are based in Houston, Tx. I have already contacted the BBB and FCC to file a complaint.

They ask you to verify all your personal info like: name, address, social security # but refuse to give any info of who they are.

They could be some sort of identity theft scam, DO NOT ANSWER!

VERY RUDE NASTY PEOPLE................WILL NOT GIVE YOU ANY INFORMATION ABOUT WHO THEY ARE!!!!!!!!!!  DON'T ANSWER THEIR CALLS!

on the call ID it reads UNIPOINT HOLDIN Dont know who it is so i dont answer  they call about every day

9:01am Sat morning, "on the dot" - first call.
Yesterday, I only got 6 calls. Day before, 6 calls, day before 8 calls....from 8:02am weekdays till 8:58pm at night....and so on and so on...

It is a collection agency - United Recovery.  They are out of either Colorado or Arizona.  They bought a block of numbers from area code 561 (and other areas as well) to avoid screening software.
