Contact (561)2323007 (Prepaid Issue).  Called from a land line and entered random numbers since i knew it was a scam.  It was trying to get my debit card number.  What a terrible recording job they did - lol

Got a txt from this number. I also don't bank with BOA and never will.

I just got the same text it says contact 561-232-3007 Attention required  and then got another one saying call that same number Prepaid issue

Received a text from 561-232-3007 saying "(card issue) contact 561-232-3007".  I did another search on this number and it is a cell phone based in West Palm Beach, Florida.  Do not give them any information!

Got exactly the same messages!
Can't we do anything to stop this?

Got the same texts From 262540@text.com .  3 txts within 5 minutes. I don't bank at BofA. I was told that a lot of the people in CA on unemployment are targeted because BofA is the bank that handles the debit cards for the UI.  Be careful.

Received 3 text message 5 minutes apart this morning. I don't have BOA account. I did too try to call it being that we do have a CC w/them and they wanted my CC# to verify my account. I hung up and told them to remove me from the call list and that I was reporting them.

Got the text from 002540@vtext.com.  Message states:  Contact (561)232-3007 (C a r d I s s u e)

The spacing on "card issue" was theirs, not mine.  I texted back "Kindly go f*** yourself", but without the asterisks.

I got three text messages from bestbank and and card issue all from the same number.
Total scam!

I just received a text message at 10am.  I don't bank with them, thought I would google the number, came across your posts.  I'm happy people are responsive to the internet, hopefully it will be a trend to lower identity theft or whatever is going on with this scheme.

They are becoming more sophisticated. Yesterday i received 2 messages from this same number saying: Contact (561)232-3007 Attetion is requested.
And the other says: contact (561)232-3007 Card issue.
For sure we need more protection.

I received two texts mentioning prepaid card. This is unreal. Now our texts are even being used for thieves

I called a text from 446540@vtext.com to call this number  (561) 232-3007 because I have a prepaid card issue. I was suspicious because I do not have any prepaid cards, and all my payments are paid through my bank. the bank will have had an actual person call and leave a message about any payment issue.

I looked up the phone number online which brought me to this site. This confirms my suspicion, this is a scam

I just got a text from this number and didn't see the BOA, but I guess they dropped it as I can see from other posts. I have Verizon and haven't used BOA in over 10 years. I pressed 1, but when it said please enter your 16 digit card number I just let it repeat itself and then it hung up. Funny thing is after it hung up about a minute later, I received a call from a restricted number. I answered just to see who's on the other line. Their reception was crappy and they hung up lol. Now I have to call my mom because we share a plan and she would fall for this. Don't know what's worse, this call or the one stating I was award a grant, but had to pay to get the grant in a "package" lmao.

I received an text message from 561-232-3007 which, when I returned the call out of curiosity, was a recording regarding something to do with my debit card.  I hung up before it got any further.  Obviously spam, and spam text is not appreciated since I pay 20 cents per message.  How does stop this stuff?

Just got a text from that number. Didn't say anything BOA related, but it did say this:

Uh, yeah...a company I do business with doesn't know my name? Hehe
