Advertisements on Craigslist nationwide as hiring for USPS jobs. It tells you to call a number in Florida and ask for a varying extension. I called this, and the same guy answered each time as a different person. Last time I called it was Eric Gold.
He then asks for $89 plus $20 in shipping to be paid immediately towards "study materials" for a USPS exam. When prompted, he had no explanation as to how this fits in with USPS's hiring procedure. And when questioned further, he became hostile and hung up the phone.
BEWARE. Don't e-mail this ad and don't call the number.

This is not a scam. I did get the book and did returned it and they gave me my money back!!! I don t know what you guys did or who you called but I did get my money back.

They do not offer jobs, or job listings, just some testing practice kits that you can get elsewhere for free.
A scam all around.

Does anyone know if the postal jobs connected to this number actually exist?? Is there another number that is more legit, or less suspicious..? I called this number, which is listed in a newspaper under "Postal Service Career Opportunities," and got a "This call cannot be connected as dialed" message.

Not a scam.. I actually got the material and got the job i wanted. The book they send you has all the info. The one at the post office, which they give you for free, has little info. Doesnt help at all. I do recomend this book to study for the exam

Another name for the Skyshout agency.... they will sell you info you can get for free from the public library or the post office.

yeah this ad just popped up on portland's craigslist, i thought something was weird when i was told i had to pay 100 bucks for study material for a job, so i told the guy i would look online for more info then call later, he told me i had to cal back within an hour and that his name was Eric Gold at ext 107. such crap!
