I booked a trip with Carrbbean Cruise lines and took the trip. Had a wonderful time. I did NOT make a deposit. I just paid for my trip. My experience with Carribbean Cruise Lines has been exceptional. This company calling from this number is NOT Carribbean Cruise Lines. They call and ask if you used your deposit hoping you will say no and ask for a refund. Then they plan to get your credit card number on the pretense of refunding your deposit. When I told the guy I took my trip he said he would update his records and hung up without even a goodbye. Problem is, they keep calling me at least 4-5 times a day. I don't know who these people are but they are NOT Carribbean Cruise lines. BE AWARE!!!!!!!!

I have been getting calls from this number for over 2 months. They won't leave a message and I won't answer it. I don't care if it is a telemarketer, collector, or who it is, I am getting irritated at the 2-3 calls a day every day. I sleep during the day as I work nights, so it has really gotten old. any ideas on what I can do to stop this?

This is so ridicules they keep calling me and not taking my number away. Going to complain with FCC shortly.

I get two to three calls a day but never leave a message, it gets annoying and I feel it must be some sort  of a scam, I do wish that the BBB do something about it. I did get into the same sort of program about a year ago an I do not answer any more after the first pitch.  Th ephone company will block the call if I pay them.

Just cancell the credit card you gave the deposit on. They won't be able to get any money from you that way and stop answering your phone

If it is Carribean cruiselines they are not a scam. I went on a promotional cruise with them in February. They're a little bit of a hassel to deal with but the company is legitimate.

I think it is the time share company or the Caribbean Cruise line. Our ship departed from West Palm Beach, FL. No worries just ignore them or talk to them go down listen to some pushy presentation and go for a "free" 2night cruise. (You pay every tax and some fees so a couple hundred bucks)

The reply from Earthlink asked me for my phone number that the telemarketer was trying to call.  I declined, but I submitted a log showing the dates of all the calls.  I really want the name of the telemarketing company so that my lawyers can pursue settlement options with them.  

My guess is that Earthlink wanted my phone number so they could tell their customer which number to stop calling.  It's a cell phone on the DNC list, so I seriously doubt the telemarketers would stop anyway.  
I find it interesting that Earthlink never denied 5613404634 is their customer.  Therefore, complaining to dcsupport@earthlinkbusiness.com is currently the best option if you want to get rid of this telemarketer.  You can try giving Earthlink your phone number if you think it will do any good.  In any event, complaining to the telemarketer's phone carrier ought to make these folks REALLY popular.

If by some chance Earthlink leaves these people connected and they keep calling, my plan is to call either General Counsel Sam DeSimone or CEO Rolla Huff at (404)815-0770.  Every single time the telemarketer calls, I will call the executives at Earthlink.  If I have to delete a few unwanted voicemails every day because they won't take action, I can give them the same number of unwanted voicemails to delete.   The complaints will end when they stop facilitating unwanted calls to cell phones on the DNC list.

Tracing the telephone service provider indicates they use Jupiter Communications, a division of Deltacom, now a division of Earthlink.  Not sure if Earthlink is really the phone company for these idiots, but I intend to find out.

I tried sending email to dcsupport@earthlinkbusiness.com, complaining about their customer making illegal calls to my cell phone that happens to be on the DNC list.  I asked them to terminate the telemarketer's service.  Admittedly, the teletrash may pop up with some other telephone company.  And if that happens and they keep calling me, I can repeat the process.  I intend to make calling me a VERY expensive proposition.

Considering a harassment suit vs. the telemarketer.  If necessary, I can serve a subpoena on Earthlink that will compel them to identify the telemarketer.  If that happens, I'll be back with more information about these clowns.

I went on the cruise with them a few yrs back. It was nice. I had no complaints but I never tried getting my money back or anything. I wouldnt do it again because it didnt come cheaper than if I would have booked it myself. I had fun and I didnt have problems with them - however the numerous calls now are getting annoying.

Same thing happened to me, They called offering this awesome vacation for super cheap for 2 people. I made the 900 dollar deposit and then later on paid for an extension on the vacation so it would be good through 2014. This same number has been calling me non stop!! over 3 times a day sometimes which is considered harrasment I believe. Well I've answered it a couple times and there was no answer finally today I got an answer and they addressed me as miss hoppstra, which is not my last name and i had contacted them about correcting it. well he then proceeded to tell me all the amazing upgrades they were going to give me on my trip, but that it had expired so they would credit me the first persons vacation but i was responsible for another $977 for the second person!! obviously with this news i was not happy at all. the man talking to me was just responded with rehearsed responses and then transfered me to the "Director" I have never been talked to like that in my entire life. He immidiatly talked to me like a problem child and had a huge attitude with me. which made me grow furious! he then proceed to repeat my sentences back to me in a snotty voice and told me to stop being a smart a**. when i voiced how upset i was that he just swore at me he said he didn't swear at me....ok..
i continued to ask to speak with someone else that had some actually customer service. he said theres no one higher that hes the only one im talking to and if i call and complain to someone else that he'd be happy to hear everyone laugh at me. I was crying and shaking with anger by the time i hung up. I can not believe how i was treated or how they had no care what-so-ever that they just stole 950 dollars from me and then wanted to double it.  horrible horrible human being. and on top of it they acted like they were doing a favor the entire time and i should be grateful!!

I got a call from this number. We paid a deposit 18 months ago. Now they called and said we missed our window and we owe them 977 dollars and if we didn't pay it would be times 2. They said that we agreed to buy it and that we had a verbal agreement. We never signed anything and figured we only lost our deposit. Now they are threatening us. Not sure what to do. Any ideas. Feels like a scam. But nervous

These guys are effing amazing.  effing sensationally messed up trash sub-human beings.  Blunt and brazen and arrogant.  They just keep on calling.  When told, you have the wrong number, simply say we put you down as a wrong number.  Doesn't sound sincere about being sorry.

I got a call from this number today and they said they are call conserning a payday loan from 2006 and they want to settle for $600 , but i have to call back by tomorrow or they will hold our taxes and take us to court and garnish our accounts

Yes.  Exact same thing happened to me.  I found out they were a scam but all to late.  Just today they called back!  They said that I had let it expire and they wanted to credit me one person but i had to pay for the second person for the cruise.  After I made it apparent I was not interested, he hung up.

I went on a cruise with them. Not a bad experience, but they have a hidden hand around every corner to collect on unexpected charge. It is a "phone mill-sweat shop" operation to keep the boat filled every night on it's runs. The boat is long past the luxury line status but is a Greyhound bus kind of service. Once they have your number, they will keep calling.

I get a call from this number at least once a day for the past week.  I answer, hear brief static on the line and then click, it hangs up on me.  At least I now know the source after looking this up and it now makes perfect sense to me.

I don't know why you think the triple-B staffs any phone scam police or can do more than send strongly worded form letters among the hours they spend counting their payola-for-rankings income. The FTC and attorneys general possess actual power in this matter, and so do you if you can confirm an address to serve a summons and complaint.

I don't know why the Better Business Bureau is still not on this company. They are one of the biggest scammers on vacation travels / cruises out there. Please beware. Last year, long story short, they have sent me a voucher to go on Caribbean cruiseline through them. In order to redeem the voucher you are suppose to book and give a security deposit. I have called and set up a vacation for four and deposited $800 over the phone. My boyfriend started looking them up, and turns out that they are on the top list of scammers and we found out that people have been filing complaints on them to no avail. We call them back to get our deposit back and the representative on the other line was rude and responded that under Florida state laws, deposit made after one month is not qualified for a refund... well no one told us that when we were making the deposit! We brush the company off our shoulders and moved on. Now this new year (2013) the same company started calling me nonstop- today I decided to pick up and the man over the phone was"What happen? (Never introducing who he was, or which company he works for) You made a deposit of $800, and you never go- and now the offer just expired on 01/02/13." Are you kidding me??? I told him straight up that after googling his number, the comments I was reading were last than stellar and many were I satisfied with doing business with your company and that they were just a bunch of scam artists. Furthermore, I told him that we tried claiming the funds and that the company refused to give it back. He then rudely responded," I'm not here to talk about any refunds. So I said, then why are you still calling me? Which he then hangs up. Wow, never in my life I came across a company that is poorly ran as this one. They are out there to get your security deposits and that is all they are good at doing. Do not do business with them or use them to book your vacations.
