I received VM at work from someone calling "from OpCo, on behalf of (I ignored the name of the guy)".  

The tone and script very much leads me to believ that this is someone with a "Hot Stock Tip".  I seem to get many of those spam calls due to a somewhat public listing of my work number and a corporate officer position.

Basic reverse lookup shows:

Provider: South Central Bell
Location: Boca Raton, FL

Got the same call.  Also got a call from a Mark Adams.  Seems they are related and work together using each other's names.  Quite fishy.  Apparently these guys try to pass themselves off as Oppenheimer Funds which is a totally different company.  These guys are an old wall street cold calling firm in disguise.  Always makes me laugh that the british accent works so well on yanks.

Luckily I was in a meeting when Paul called me.
He told my staff that I wouldn't recognize his name but would recognize the company, and that I needed to call him back regarding something important.
Won't happen.

Got the call from this guy, too, asking to speak to our CTO.  Ironically, one of our VPs is also named Paul Adams and has a similar accent.  Boy, was I ever confused!  Thanks everyone, and cheers to the people who run this site.

Same here; I got a VM from this guy. Since my VM is transcribed, I can post the actual words: "Good morning John. I'm calling from office of Paul Adams at (ApCo?). I'd appreciate if you could return the call. You can reach us back direct on 561-367-4763. Thank you and we look forward to speaking with you soon."

Paul Adams called for our CEO. I asked what company he was calling from, he said "OpCO" and he spelled it out for me and said that my boss would recognize the name. I asked him what it was regarding and he said "i just wanted to give him a brief intro of my company." Needless to say I won't be passing him the message.

Just got a VM from Paul Adams of OpCo. He called the main number at my office and was transfered. I thought it seemed a bit odd, and thanks to this site, I see it is. Best to whocallsme!

I also received a call from Paul Adams at the Boca Raton office of "OpCo." A quick look on the internet told me that the call was not worth returning. I plan to write to Oppenheimer to complain, since this is the third time I have received a call from that office. However, it is unlikely that the company will discontinue the practice of cold calling.

Whoever put up this Web site (whocallsme.com)is providing a great service.

Also got VM from Paul Adams. My research also confirms he's an investment adviser/wealth manager with Op & Co. Message erased.

Just got voice mail from Paul Adams, thanks for the heads-up.

This guy called my office and left a message:

"I am with the offices of Paul Adams at OpCo, call me back at 561-367-4763...  I am curious about how the hell they got my office number, I never give it out!

same guy just called me - very thick aussy accent - trying to get me to commit $10K for one stock....very fishy.

Yes this is Oppenheimer branch or claim to be. Stay away from these people.  I spoke to one of their reps and showed slight interest, shared some personal information, all the sudden owned a stock (it tanked).  Obviously, I never approved the purchase or sent them any money.   I spoke to the branch manager and he said most of the right things, but you could tell he was high fiving his guys in the background.  I am sure fro everyone of me that puts up a fight their are 5 others that just send some money over.  I called the SEC and Oppenheimer to report what happened.

Called me without giving a company name or reason for call.

Our company received a call from Paul Adams asking our CEO to call him at (561) 367-4763.  He used the CEO's name but left no other information.
