Got an annoying call from this number...referred them to my attorneys and was told they do not contact attorneys.  Said they would contact my employer (former employer's name was given) and I told them I didn't work there and was retired.  They finally hung up.  I know this caller is a low life scam artist and they should be treated as such

I got a call at work from 5614297716 FINANCIAL CRIME LEGAL DEPT by the name Marcus about an unpaid loan thru the internet by the way I don't owe anybody any money when I asked him when this orginated he couldn't asnwer he connected me with somebody that suppost to be is supervisor by the name Daniel both with heavy indian accent very pushy and rude called me dumb because I wouldn't settle for his offer  $680. I asked him when you show me proof, asked him for the company number that has these legal action against me he hanged up. I kept calling and they wouldn't pick up the phone. then Marcus calls me and says that he is going to talk with the accounting dept to see if he can send to me that was yesterday and no answer yet.

Just got a call for an employee, same thing SCS Crime Unit. I can't believe anyone would fall for this guys crap.Said he was Mark Davis. 561-429-7716 Very thick accent.
Our company is willing to press charges against such people and can record phone calls. We shall see if he calls back.

I received several calls from some drunk guy calling himself Mark Davis. Tries to intimidate by using words like local federal court house, attorney, grave matter, serious trouble etc. etc.
It helps if you have rollover minutes on your cellphone plan. I called them back and at first he would say 'hello,' 'hello', 'hello', then after the 10th time of me calling back it went to his voicemail. He would call me back after 2 minutes and I would just sit there and listen to him say, 'hello', 'hello', 'hello' and I would hang up. I called him back and it went to his voicemail. That settled that for a day, then next day he wanted to play so  I played his game too. LOL. I have 3452 rollover minutes so I'm good until next month. ROFLMAO.. you should try it. He don't like it when tables are turned.

This  guy named Carlos Douglas called our office every 10 seconds for 4 times at1:25 pm today,6/27/13, and said that he is from the SCS Financial Crime Unit in Palm Beach, Florida,  speaking with a very
weird accent.  We asked him where is he from, and how come he got an English name when his grammar and accent is from somewhere beyond that is hard to understand... we know he is a scammer

These people keep calling my work and now everyone thinks I have debt collectors.  They don't stop!!!

He said he locked my social security number and I had to Western Union him money. He called literally over 100 times while I was at work. He started with my cell number then started calling work. I hope someone catches this guy!!!!

Thier poor command of the King's English is a dead giveaway. You would think they would have mastered it by now after all these years of running this scam.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

ABC News released an investigative report on this scam a year ago:

This person called me to ask about a pay loan.  I don't have any.  I asked him to remove my number from the list.  Now he keeps calling and asking for my name to he can remove my number.  I will not give him my name, no way, no how!

i am a victim... i tried to think of anything i owed... nothing matched what he tried too tell me... he wouldn't give me any paperwork...until you give him your bank account information and send somemoney... then they still dont send you verification of paperwork... for the so called criminal case... they have called my employer and harassed me.... 36 calls at one time... i wouldn't answer... dont make me take a legal action toward you... but want give me any verification of paperwork....what do i do

i have been getting these calls from the number 5614297716.... they said they were going to charge me criminally or from the criminal department of some court.... they have even called my work harassing me every day.... tricked me into sending them $75 to some lady in new york.... or they would take me to court and for something i know i didnt have any part in a year ago.....i have never heard of them.... very ugly and rude to me on the phone... called my work and the only thing they said when the phone was answered was "you better get me a boss now".... they called me 50 times one day!!!!

I blocked the number since it said Florida; I listened to the Voicemail after and it was the same "mark davis" talking about my HUSBANDS ssn and so called 'case'. I've been recieveing calls for several weeks and I agree that it is from trying to get a payday loan. ; I will be letting my husband listen to the voicemail when I get home and let him decide what to do. This is getting out of hand....

The same guy continues to call me from this number claiming to be Mark Davis and I blocked his number so he proceeded to call my place of work and not to mention my girlfriend's phone and harassed us! Therefore, we blocked the number for her phone too and not even 5 seconds later he called from a different number (503-866-8196) which my phone just happens to tell me that it's from Portland, OR.  However, the first number was from Florida.  No company/person can travel to FL to OR in 5 seconds. Complete SCAM!! Not to mention very persistent. Don't give them any money!!!! Plus, they don't have proof, cannot get you fired, nor put a hold on your SSN.

When I returned the call, thus guy name mark davus said hello. No company name and wouldn't give me his information.

I have received several harassing calls from this individual from a different number and now from this number.  I have blocked the numbers from my personal phone, but he started harassing me at work.  He told a co-worker it was concerning a family emergency.  Thank goodness I have great co-workers who screen the calls, and told him I cannot receive personal calls at work.

I keep getting calls from this number.

Which god?  Vishnu?  Krishna?  Ganesh?

I had receive the same phone call from the same guy and he had made me realize about my payment & my credit affection.
I am thankful to this person and god bless him...

But Mari this Guys are very much help full to me and this Guys had help me out to resolve the matter & after I made the payment they had also send me the Legal Documentation at my mailing Address.

So I am very much thankful to the person Name Mr. Mark Davis who helped me out in this situation.

I received a call from this number stating that they are calling from a "financial crime unit".    I have no outstanding debt and I know that this is a scam.  They called me at my place of employment about 10 times.
