Feb. 27, 2013  Calls from Phone Number:  561-829-2170 We received 9 calls this morning alone, comes from: Custom Offer Outlet a telemarketing company, did a trace on it: Land line from Windstream Communications who provide them phone service to Belle Glade, Florida.
Lots of static on the line like it was coming from offshore, person on the line doesn't speak English, selling a home study course. I phone Windstream they said they can do nothing about it, it is harassing use of the phone, they are calling Canada phone numbers. Very hard to understand, thick Asian accent, perhaps Chinese or pacific islander.
Calls are for someone named Steve, and never for me.

Offered me a loan then talking about college and was willing to talk to him name Vic then hung up on me. Was looking for cash advance that's why I talked to him but had nothing to do in regards to a cash loan

they called 3 times in less than a half hour.  I tried to call back and just stayed on hold until it hung up on me

I applied online for a consolidation loan last week. Since then, I've been getting repeated calls from  this and several other numbers about my "school" loan, my "auto" loan, my "payday" loan, and who knows what else! And the first time I answered, I couldn't understand a word they say!  Some of the numbers show up on Google Search under "Indian Cell Phones", and it's definitely a heavy accent.  They've slowed down some (I finally answered the one about the auto loan and stayed on the line long enough to tell him to pull me from their list) but it's just crazy how many calls I'm still receiving! Guess that will teach me to NOT apply online for a loan again!

Can't get them to answer I want them to stop calling me

This number (561) 463-5521 has called my minor child cell phone more than 20 times while in school. I called them today to remove the number from their database and was told it was Eileen from Custom Offer Outlet. Horrible sales calls to minors at school. This record will allow me to sue them if they call again.

I received 2 calls from 5614635521 today (9/4/2012) at 2:04pm and 7:00pm.  Do not know the caller company

Got a phone call this afternoon with the same slogan......asking me about the form I filled out for college.  I am over 50 years old and did NOT fill out any form for college assistance etc.....I explained this to the caller and she just kept on asking me about loans etc....it was very fishy, so I just hung up and looked up the number.....These people need to be reported and stopped.  They are searching for unsuspecting people to gain monetary information!  Beware people!!!!! Hang up on them and then report them.....

This number called me last week. The representative was very polite, he asked me if im interested in furthering my college education. at first im in doubt that it might be a scam but as we go on the process i realize how useful they are. first they pre-qualify me to the program that i am ineterested in.  The information that they provide was free and i was able to request a free information and talk to an educational adviser from Everest University Online and Kaplan University. The adviser freely helped me determined the best schools for my program Business Administration. i have no regrets that i let the representative from CUSTOM OFFER OUTLET be a part of my future goals. and im pretty sure that i have taken a significant step towards my education.

And so for those who keeps on receiving calls from this number you might hang up or didn't answer during the call, thats why they were not able to dispose the call properly and thats the reason why they will call you again. and based on my opinion its the system who dial your number. they dont manually dialed your number

They call and hang up because they get paid by metrics.  They are required to make a certain amount of calls whether it's a live person or an answering machine and it gets counted by the computer system.  This is how a call center works.  I used to work at one and it's just as annoying for the workers as it is for the recipient of these calls, that's why I left.  There is pressure placed on the workers to "make their numbers", it's an awful way to make a living.  The only good thing about the call I recieved was that at least it wasn't an East Indian person telling me his name was Dan.

How can I get these people to quit calling me

I missed the call. There is no legislation to stop unwanted callers like this one. This needs to change now.

I get these people calling my work phone asking for Cindy there calling a guard shack for a gated community and when I asked to speak to a manager I got put on hold till they hung up or the call got dropped
