No one on the line when answered...

Call 1-800-308-6247. Request supervisor who will state they are not aware that you do not want the calls (duh) and advise them personally again not to harass you. Same boat here. Trying to sell unwanted cruises and magazines. What do I base this on? The fact that they nag to the point they do. Business can't be that good. Good luck!!!

Phone calls started after receiving a chance to win big money sweepstakes. Told to call 1-866-308-1017. After entering our name in the chance to win....high pressure magazine sales began. This was quickly followed by Royal Caribbean offer that we won it would only cost us airfare. We laughed and requested to be removed from call list. Since then, our phone has NOT stopped ringing. Very rarely we have a human and again state to remove our name to them. More often then not it it automated 4-5 times a day. We were told to go online nmemags.com and we did. This doesn't help either. Never has any company nagged, harassed, and prank us to this level. We were told to log all call times and have the phone company on it. Hope this helps.

They were calling me non-stop couple of weeks ago. Different number. Said I won a 3-day cruise somewhere to the Caribbean. I kept her talking. She said I had one year's time to book my date. Kept her talking. She explained details of where the ship stops and details. Kept over fuel sur-charges, this or that. She sensed my hesitation and kept consoling me that it was not a scam call. I trust no one of course, so I kept her talking, at the end of the conversation she said in order to secure a cabin on the ship, I would need to pay a deposit. I played along, saying I don't have a credit card, what should I do? She mentioned Western Union. I stopped it at that point, I told her to go to hell, and stop scamming people. It was a toll free number, I called it, and there is a recorded message to remove your number from their list. I did that. But, hardly 10 minutes later, got another scumbag from same scammers asking for me. I told him you have the wrong name and proceeded to hit the # pound key 5 times or more.. Sometimes it scrambles the number at the other end and they can't call back again.
I'm also getting calls from a 604 area code. Vancouver. I googled the number and again scammers, saying they want to lower your interest rate on your credit card. Do not fall for that either. I'm so sick of these calls and plan to buy a device called Dastalk that can block up to 200 numbers.

they call at least twice a day. may be a "cruise" solicitation. I've got them blocked. they won't give up. this has been the pattern for the last MONTH. robo dialer I assume, or it's really a dumb a** on the other end!
| christopher wallace 2014-01-23 23:13:14 Unknown |
told them to discontinue the calls and they still continue to call multiple times.

> how did they get my number?
They didn't.
Their "auto-dialing" computer RANDOMLY dials numbers, hoping that somebody picks-up.
Their offer is a free round-trip to/from Florida to the Bahamas.
They do not tell you that there will be a "fuel-surcharge" that you must pay.
They do not tell you that you are "required" to leave a tip for the cruise-ship employees.
But, most importantly, they don't tell you that you have to listen to a 2-hour high-pressure sales-pitch for purchasing into a time-share.

Use blocking mode on your smart phone. Don't have a smart phone? GET ONE!!! Blocking mode comes free with the phone. Only numbers on your contact list make your phone ring. Simple as that.
