Same thing as they or them dum****** keep calling because when I applied for a payday loan which was legitimate, so I guess they got my info and keep calling to try to say I will be arrested and yadyayadayad.

I am not worried as these idiots are garbage to this green earth..............I will change my number and I already have fraud identity on my accounts, so if they try something they will not succeed.

I have been getting calls from this person, saying that he had a complaint against me and that he didn't care of me paying money, but If I didn't sent him $1700 he was going to send the police to arest me and that I was going to spend up to 6 months in jail.  He kept threatning me leaving voice mails and all that.  Once he called yelling at me saying that he didn't feels sorry for me and that I would get put in jail for everythign I have done.  And I was about to fall for it and paid him when a "police officer" called me (with the same accent) saying that he was going to come and get me within 10 minutes unless I would call Michael Davis and resolve it with him, at this point I'm freaking out.  So I called him back and he starts yelling at me and saying that I have to pay him at least $480.86 within 30 minutes and he will call the "officer" to tell him everything is ok. Well thankfully I called my friend who is married to a police officer and told us what to do, then she call another friend which is a police officer too and we gave him the number and he was going to make a friendly call to Micheil.  
I am releived and after reading everybodys post I feel a lot better because is not true, is just some idiots trying to get money from hard working people.

Anyone with information about where these scammers requested money be sent please post the information.

This is a scam last week these people called me claiming to be from McKenzie law firm. They would not answer my questions then got mad when i told them i spoke to my attorney. This week they with Hamilton and associate from Boca Raton FL. I called Hamilton and associate law firm and they said they have been flooded with calls about this scam. I am sorry i did am online payday loan.
My how that imaginary payday loans gets bounced around from law office to law office in a matter of days.

Its all a scam I am from.iowa and they have called my job harassing me and  a us marshall is being sent to come get me and he said he  a lawyer so I asked him to fax me.his.credentials  he said he didnt do that.

This caller with an Indian accent called and left a message on my cell phone, saying he was "Michael Davis", attorney, and that he was going to take me to court and take my job because I didn't pay back a "Payday" loan that I never got. Then he called my home phone, saying that his name was Steven Davis(apparently he forgot that he said his name was Michael Davis on his long-winded rant of a voicemail on my cell phone) and blah-blah-blah about this non-payment of some loan, and when I tried to question him about the suit and asked for them to mail the information to me about this he became irate and said I was going to be arrested and put in jail, that I better have an good attorney, blah blah blah. When I tried to question further, he finally hung up. I have since put an alert on my bank accounts, and made a report to the credit bureau about them, since they have my social security number. I really hope he calls back, so I can have the satisfaction of telling him I reported him to everyone I can think of!

These clowns keep calling me telling me I borrowed money from some payday place and didn't pay it back they have my SS number and all of that stuff. This asshat said he is going to take me to court and I could owe all of his attorney fees etc etc. Has anyone ever received any written notification from these guys or anything from your local courthouse? Me personally I just told this dude to go F%$# himself...

a client received a call from Michael Davis, and immediately contacted our office as we recently represented her in another legal matter.  They gave her a case number, told her she violated FDA and they were coming to arrest her, they as well, had her complete social security number.  Anyone have any suggestions as to handling this.  I guess, actually, in fact her identity is stolen, right?

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I also have been getting calls from this number.  The guy can barely speak English....which to me was a Red Flag.....I finally blocked them on my cell phone....then this morning, they called my work!!  FOUR TIMES!!  I hung up on them 3 times, (once I told them if they didn't stop calling, I was going to sue their a** for harassment)....they had the balls to call back and my manager finally told them if they would put someone on the phone that could speak better English, she'd talk to them.  They hung up on her.  This really upsets me as I feel like they are putting seeds of doubt in my employers head about me.  Does it do any good to call the credit bureaus if my credit is crappy anyway?  I don't know what to do.....VERY FRUSTRATED!!!!

Damn indians....I got the same call. New it was a scam because the only way I could be in this much trouble would to have the police arrest me or be served with legal documents saying this. Then I would still have time to defend myself and could always counter sue. Nothing to worry about. I notified Identiy Guard and they should stop or alert me of anything funny. I agree, these frecken indians should all be deported. They always smell like the dump and polute our enviroment.  Can't stand them. Any of them.

Got a call this morning and all the same things....when they call and demand some sort of payment ask them to pay in person and see what they say....Bet they would not be that stupid especially if you showed up with the FBI and your pit bull...they are scum of the Earth

Just received the same type of call from 561 549 1160; Hamilton and associates in Florida. The person identified himself as mark davis and that if i did not not pay them (no explanation of the basis of debt) they would serve me with a summons and arrest me. When i tried to clarify who he was and what this was about, he began cussing (heavy India national voice) and stating i may be in some way by stating he could not guarantee my safety as my future unfolds before me. I contacted the credit bureau to place a fraud alert and filing a complaint with the saginaw tx police. Next i will contact sw bell regarding this number in case they use 'threat spam texts', the attorney general, fbi, and ic3.gov. I appreciate everyones prior comments, I am a disabled vet and seem to have a lot of problems from India, Ghana, and Nigeria nationals. One person from Ghana was bold enough to state they have contacts in the FBI and nothing will stop them.  Thank you...

I continuous get calls from this number 561-5491160 stating i have a lawsuit against me, i can barely understand the guy, he also calls my work and says vulgar things and then hangs up.   I am tired of being threatned at my place of work, what can i do!!!???

Received same phone call as everyone else has.  I could not understand the name of the law office they were suppose to be calling from and he got very angry. Started to tell me I was going to be arrested, the same as everyone else is saying. Well I let him know right from the very beginning that I was aware of this being a SCAM. I received the same sort of call yesterday. I went on the legit companies website and they have on it as big as day. Don't give these people anything. I was angry so I called the punk back. I asked for his company address which caught him off guard and then he asked why and wouldn't give it to me. He asked me for my name. I said, why should I give my name if you won't give me your address. I then hung up. He immediately called me back and realized my name. I said" Look you and I both know this is a SCAM so leave me the _ _ ck alone. He called back and said: THIS IS REALLY FUNNY " He was hungry and couldn't I send him $100.00 dollars so he could eat. I told him to get a damn job. His name was something Shaw. No more communication after that until this morning from supposedly a new company. I keep them on the phone and then tell them that this call has been traced and they are coming to arrest him. This puts them off from calling for a while. PEOPLE!! don't give these JERKS!! your money. As someone in one of the other complaints said, they cannot arrest you for a bill you owe. And think, when has anyone ever been told that the police is coming to arrest you. They dont give eta's of arrival. Do you due diligience before you give any money to anyone. Check companies names, addresses, phone numbers. Also let these companies know that the jerks are using their good name.

I also received calls from 2 NY numbers: 347-531-2693 with a message saying, "something special is coming to kick my a**" if I do not return the call and will be arrested.

607-595-0392 message said, "call back immediately with my attorney or I will go to jail."

I also got a call from these guys telling me I owed 1100 dollars to some company that I never took money from. Read previous comments and will be calling everyone to place a fraud alert. He had my full social as well. I was freaking out and told him would hire a lawyer and fight it in court. He hung upon me.

This same guy had me freaking out.. !!! When my husband come in the living room and told me to listen to the message that i was going to spend time behind bars!! Well i automatically started researching this guy and found these post!! Since i have the message left to me, i am reporting my identity stolen to the fbi and llet them talk to this crazy guy.. plus harrassment charges!!!  This guy needs to be stopped..  he knows my social security # and all because i applied for a payday loan!!!
