I keep getting a missed call from this number.  No voice mail left.

Called me this evening and hung up?  Call back says there's no such number!

are you guy`s involved in any legal actions,lswsuits,claims,worker`s comp claims ?

I also keep getting random calls from this number. It's so annoying! By any chance did anyone buy a disney package 3 nights free stay in a hotel and two free theme park tickets a couple of years ago? Because one of the guys who called me asked why I did not attend the timeshare meeting.

I had a couple years ago.
Thing is, even if you answer it there is no one there.
Who's behind this anyway, any ideas?

I've been getting calls from this number practically every day for the last week. I'm not involved in any lawsuits or bought Disney packages.  The area code is West Palm Beach, Florida.

someone finally answered it is some type of travel agency... they are trying to sell you something... if you miss the call i got a number you can call and have them take you off the list... 1.866.645.3467

The last two months I received calls from 561-553-4772 in the same way, over and over, day and night.  I reported a complaint on donotcall.gov for each incident and it seems now I'm getting calls from another number 888-296-6101.  A few years ago I bought a condo stay in Florida, part of the timeshare snare.  I liked the vacation but I who wants this annoyance.

What would it hurt to blow a LOUD whistle into the phone when they call?  Could I get sued?

This number calls alot.  When I answer there is not an answer.  I tried calling back and a recording said there is no such number but, it is on my caller id when a call comes in.

The following are instances where you should consider filing a complaint against a telemarketer.

If you:

Have been on the Do Not Call Registry for at least 31 days and are contacted by a telemarketer who is not exempt.
Receive a telemarketing call that you believe is a scam or is misleading.
Are solicited to pay a fee to join the National Do Not Call Registry.
Are not put on a company's internal do not call list after requesting to be.
Have received a junk fax without having an existing business relationship with the sender.
You will need to compile as much information about the company as possible to include with your complaint: the company's phone number as transmitted through Caller ID or your fax machine, or provided verbally by the telemarketer, the name of the company, and date of the call or fax. If the telemarketer says it is calling on behalf of another company, you can ask for the name of the telemarketing company in addition to the name of the company on whose behalf they are calling. Do not forget to provide your phone number on the complaint, especially if you are listed on the National Registry. If you are complaining about a junk fax, be sure to provide your fax number on the complaint. Both the Federal Trade Commission and Federal Communications Commission can fine telemarketers up to $11,000 per violation.

The Federal Trade Commission assures that cell phone numbers will not be released to telemarketers at any time in the near future despite the claims made in e-mails circulating on the Internet.

In addition, according to the agency, it is not necessary to register cell phone numbers on the DNC Registry to be protected from most telemarketing calls to cell phones.

The truth about cell phones and the DNC Registry is:

Contrary to the e-mail, cell phone numbers are NOT being released to telemarketers, and you will NOT soon be getting telemarketing calls on your cell phone.
There is NO deadline by which you must register your cell phone number on the Registry.
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations prohibit telemarketers from using automated dialers to call cell phone numbers. Automated dialers are standard in the industry, so most telemarketers are barred from calling consumers on their cell phones without their consent.
The national associations representing telemarketers have stated that their clients do not intend to start calling consumers? cell phones.
There is only ONE DNC Registry. There is no separate registry for cell phones.
The DNC Registry accepts registrations from both cell phones and land lines. You must call from the phone number that you want to register. If you register online, you must respond to a confirmation e-mail.
While the telecommunications industry has been discussing the possibility of creating a wireless 411 directory, according to the FCC, even if a wireless 411 directory is established, most telemarketing calls to cell phones would still be illegal, regardless of whether the number is listed on the federal government?s National Do Not Call Registry.

Have recieved 5-7 calls a day from this number since the 10 Feb. Two rings then hangs up no messages or anything. I have tried to answer the phone when this number has called after the 1st ring about 6 time only to have no one on the line, even staying on the line for more than 5 minutes with no answer. Call back no ring and message comes on "Sorry the number you have reached is not in service check the number and dial again". My Cell is on the "Do Not Call List". Calling this company that owns the cell number (561-553-4772) tomorrow and see what can be done. This is burning up my time and cell minutes.

A woman called our business from this 561# earlier today asking for my wife by name, when I asked who was calling she said "it was just a courtesy call", when I asked from whom, she hung up. Someone called from the same 561# 4 hrs later, then hung up when I answered. All our ph #'s are registered too! When I called back, a recording comes on after the ring, not before, stating its "not in svc".

This number calls at least 3 times a day.  Usually while I'm working so I can never pick it up.  It never leaves a voicemail.  I thought it may be one of those numbers that call to get you to pay for a vacation by telling you that you have credit with them but reading the rest of these posts doesn't sound like that is the case.

I got 2 calls today I it always only rings once and It says sorry the number you have reached is not in service when I try to call it back!  I Feel Like ripping these peoples heads apart!

Just called me 3 pm Feb 13th answered phone and they hung up

First called my cell out of the blue, on the 9th Feb at 10:26. I rejected call on 2nd ring. Skipped Sunday but called today; Monday at 10:30. I answered and after a 2 second pause, a man with a southern accent, asked for "Jay" or someone like that. I said "who?" and he spelled it out. I told him that there was no one by that name at this number. He said "thank you" and hung up.

Then I get a call at 1:58... a different man asking for someone else. He too, had an accent but it sounded very different -ethnic- and he sounded as if to be walking in a windy area. Again ... a pause, then he asked for someone I couldn't make out. When I asked him to spell it, he hung up on me.

I got another call at 6:31 today. I rejected it.
I did a reverse search and found out that it is West Palm Beach area and an unlisted cell.

receiving 3-5 calls daily from this number. When answered, no one is there. When I hit redial, it says that the number is not in service. Supremely ANNOYING!!!

Somebody was trying to say my name, then hang up. All other calls were just silent with some static.
