this number is part of the Career Network scam

look stop blow up 20 times a day im not looking for school im looking for a job if i dont answer my phone there is a reason stop buging or im going to sign a complant on where ever call me again so stop bothering me thanks an d have a wonderfull day

I get called from these people three times or more a day, when i answer they say something really quick and then hang up, and when i call them back all it does is just ring and go to voice mail but you cant leave a message because the voice mail box is full.

I too receive about 3 calls/day from this number and when I answer, they immediately disconnect.  They never leave a message nor can I leave them a message when I call them back.  What do they want?

I applied and got a call as well with a text stating to call 1866-559-1123. I called the next morning (a few min ago after looking @ this blog) and some guy answered with my name already on his lips and he said it was some job placement company. He asked if I had 20 min to spare and I said yes. He immediately mentioned that I said I was interested in going to school according to his info. I lied and said that I enterd that by mistake and that I just want a job. He then told me that 85% of the company s that are hiring are looking for people who are going to school. He pretty much ended the "briefing" in 2 min. I didn't ask any further questions cuz I knew this was some bull. I think this is an elaborate ploy from an educational recruitment office (probably university of phoenix, they're very annoying).

I called this phone number back and it has something to do with furthering your education from what the recording said.

My husband signed up on career builder, was offered mystery shopping work. He was promised a package to be delivered 2 weeks ago, to date nothing! Ireceived a call from this number this am, a man stated he needed my email address so I could check some information for him. The accent was so thick I could not understand him. When I tried to give him information he stated he wasn't able to get my info. I hung up believing it is a scam! I have been receiving education call 2 & 3 a day.

Been getting the phone calls with the "oh I can't hear you, much be my phone" excuse for a few days now.

Immediately she started getting scam calls. I clicked the link again to see for myself this profile that was posted and I get spam pop-ups:

While the job was posted on the Houston Chronicle, http://www.chron.com/channel/jobs/, it is a job posted through Yahoo! Jobs. I've gone and reported the job post to both websites as scam.


Called the number back a few days ago and it went to the company directory and said I was number 7 in wait. Figured I'd call back later. Now it rings and goes to voicemail which, to no surprise, is full.

Told my wife to delete her profile and hopefully it'll all go away. Have had all our numbers registered with the do-no-call list for many years now...

I just received a phone call for the first time today and they left no message.

I'm on the same boat as everyone else. Applying for jobs online and I just got called twice.

Since I started looking for a job on line this number has been calling me and hanging up.

Got an email about an HR position from a person that says they saw my resume on Career Builders.  This person is a scam artist.  Do not place your picture on this so called site.  Yes he calls then claims  he can't hear you and calls back. I did not answer the second call.  When I tried to call that number back it just rang repeatedly.   I called the fraud department Career Builders they are aware of this scam and the person.  Have Career Builders remove all your information from their data base.

I have receive two call today from this number.

I started receiving the phone calls after I set up my career builder account when they call tell them 2 stop. Calling, tell them 2 put u on a do not call list or u can sue.

I've been getting the same calls. I tried to call it back and no one answers...so annoying

I get these calls atleast 3 times a day I don't get to answer but I called back n it just goes to voice mail. But the voice mail is full. I just read all the post u guys have been putting n now I know not to answer cause they will keep calling if I do. My husband n I have post our resume to job sites also but none of the ones u guys have posted too. First I got a text saying "hi I'm Ann based on your resume you matched a job I'm filling. If you register at jobnab.com we can discuss the details if your interested." from that day forward I've been geting calls from 561-641-0805.

i keep gettin the call from that number to.. its soo annoying.. what can i do to stop them idiots from calling me

I just received a call from this number I did not answer the call. I also was applying on line for different jobs. I am not interested in gettin a higher education,. I have friends with bachelors degrees and still work at mcdonalds or burger kings. This is a very annoying call.

I've received this call twice but haven't answered either time as I don't recognize the number.  Like a lot of other messages on this site, I have gone online to look for work through Job.com and Careerbuilders.com

Add me to this long list. Just got a call from this number and he also told me he couldn't hear me after a few exchanges of hello-hello. Said he would hang up and call me back. I did not get a good feeling about the call and immediately came to the computer and started to do some area code research.
I was applying for jobs on line yesterday as well...  Won't be answering my phone any more from numbers I do not recognize!

I posted on HotJobs then today I got a call from this number. Didn't answer just looked it up.

Thanks for posting this information. I had no clue what was going on when I was getting calls from this number! I don't know anyone from this area code and I knew it was fishy when they left no message. I too have been posting my resume to several online job hunting sites. Disppointed that they solicited my number.

This number just started calling me today. Once this morning and again just now. Good ole google lead me to this posting forum.

I said 'Hello?' about twice before the woman (sounds asian) said anything and said I registered about the higher edu bs.

DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO ON THE PHONE!

Keep getting this call and by the time I answer it, I've missed the call.  I tried calling that number back on a private line and a vm comes on and says cannot leave messaage at this time because it's full.  This is really getting annoying. I to have been looking for a job online and now I'm getting this call.  How can I stop this annoying phone call?

I have recieved these calls almost everyday on my cell. The call seem to originate from Florida.The Company that is calling is under investagation for human and id  theft, among many other violations.They are scum.Even if are Illeagly in this country(USA),DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GROUP.
