someone left a message stating that a claim had been filed against me, that would effect my income.

They have called me every day for the past week and have not left messages.

They have been calling me. They say they are trying to contact me because someone "used me as a reference". Not true. No one has done that.

Oxford Management Solutions is a bottom of the barrel, "chop shop" collection agency. I worked with them both internally and externally. The Fortune 500 company I worked for, that used them as a collection agency, dropped them because of lackluster results and shady behavior. I actually also worked for them for a month. Basically, a second summer job for extra cash. Long story short, after a month, I had enough and quit. They are desperate for collectors and 90% of them never get properly trained.

1-561-666-8539 11/19/08 1:43PM, a man called asked for me by name. he identified his agency and who he was representing. I told him I do not owe this bill and to cease and desist calling here. That you have repeatedly got phone calls from this number and I am going to loose my job. I told him I wanted his mailing address and he refused to give me the address and gave me an imcomplete fax number 561-630-851* and your guess is as good as mine. I told him he is no longer to call this number or have any direct contact with me. He said he would call me repeatedly and often. I told him to cease and desist I am going to loose my job. He then hung up. I googled the address of the corporation; Oxford Management, 135 Maxess Road, Melville, NY 11747 send them a cease and desist order. Contact the FTC 877-382-4357 report this individual and google the fair credit laws. once they continue then the collection is not a valid collection. they have 30 days to send you a written notice of the collection and prove the debt. if they fail then they have nothing. They can also owe you up to 3,000 dollars through the fair trades commission for duress for failing to use correct proceedures. after writing a letter to them google the 561 state report them to the bbb and attorney generals office, then report them to your attorney generals office and the ny attorney generals office. once they have a dollar value to hit these thugs up then they will shut them down. get educated and know your rights.

I got a call from this number today and they left a message but all it sounded like was a supervisor and an employee talking about the way to handle calls. No real message.

Someone just called me at work from this number and was extremely rude to me
I had no idea what she was talking about nor did any of the information she had match mine own.......she was insistant that this was my account whrn i told her a million times this info didn't match mine at all. It definitely felt like some sort of scam and made me uncomfortable and I don't know what to do about it,.....

I had the pleasure of receiving a voicemail on my cellphone from one of their "agents" today. I couldn't tell if it was a male or female but I think it was female. The person had a very heavy Spanish accent. They were so bored with their job that they had to yawn loudly into the telephone. The delay in speaking caused my voicemail to cut them off so I wasn't able to get the phone number to return the call. If this is the professionalism of their staff, I'm sure I don't want to talk to them, anyway.
The Contact Form on their website someone provided on this page is not working now.

Oxford Management have got to be the dumbest clowns in the collection business. There apparently is no filter when determining that they've got a bad number and erroneously continue calling someone they've spoken with and determined that MINIMALLY they've contacted the wrong gender. Some other Oxford Clown picks up the number and starts over. I'm contemplating two choices: Spreading their number as far as possible on the internet and encouraging people to rudely and randomly call them back (I've found they don't like it when THEY'RE inconvenienced) or getting in contact with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) at 877-382-4357 as recommended by a previous post.

They call me several times a week, on both my home and cell phones, looking for someone else. I tell them I don't know who they're looking for; they're evidently too stupid to care. Anybody know a way to stop this? How about blowing an airhorn into the phone?

I got a call from this number today. They acted like it was a collection, but I know I am current on EVERYTHING. I pretended not to know who he was talking about even tho the man was using my name. He spoke very fast and with a strange accent so I could barely understand him. I don't know how they got my cell number. I took a message for the person he was looking for, but the 1-866-419-2726 number he gave me rings twice and then goes to a busy sound. I don't know what to do about it.

These dillweeds phone me about 3 times a day and I just pick up and hang back up
A couple of times I let them speak and actually had a couple of their employees call me a bi*** and threaten my child when she wouldn't put me on the phone. They have a survey on their website. I responded accordingly

I get the call too. If I don't recognize the number, I push the ignore button. Then they call right after with "unknown number" trying to be tricky! It's kinda creepy cause they're prefix is '666.'

Got a call today saying they were looking for someone up the street, I told them I did not know these people or if that house number existed, He kind of asked in a smart way, well don't you know if there is a house there and I said that this house may have a different house number & street name because it faces an different way, then he said so you don't know these people and I said No they just moved in and I'am not sure of the name, then he proceeded to ask if they were in their 40's, I said no, then he said OK thanks and hung up. He did ask me if I lived at a certain number and I didn't reply, I thought it was some kind of scam too.

The jerks are calling my wifes and my respective cell phones We have no idea who or why. If it was a legitimate call they would call our home number.

Received a call at work for an employee who works outside in our yard. While I agreed to take a message the rep (Kelly Smith ext 669)was talking so fast; I asked her to repeat and she exclaimed why am I yelling at her like I'm the person she is calling for? I responded that she can call this person at home and I am not giving him the message. She was talking over me the whole time so I hung up. Next time I see this number on caller ID I'll hang up and file a complaint with the attorney general's office.

Someone called from this number today saying that they were trying to get ahold of someone that lived up the street. Sounded like shady collection practices to me.

Oxford has been calling my home 3 or 4 times a week for months now trying to collect a debt. The debt is not mine. I guess someone used my number on a loan or something and they defaulted now Oxford calls me. I told them they have the wrong number dozens of times but the calls keep coming so I just hang up. Today they called and we argued about it, the guy said FU, I asked for his name he hung up. I just finished filing a report with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) 877-382-4357. Hope it helps.

I have been getting once-a-day calls from the same number. They actually DO leave a message and say something along the lines of "this is not a solicitation call, but a personal business matter...please call us back at..." - recently they have begun to send text messages requesting a call back to the same.

Someone calls my house phone 4 or 5 times a week and sometimes twice a day. I don't answer and they don't bother to leave a message. It has been like this for months. I don't want to call them back because it's obviously done by an auto-dialer. Does anyone know who the caller is?
