Received a call from these people claiming that the government required them to contact me and I would receive $100 worth of coupons for free gas. I hung up and within a few minutes the same woman called me back claiming the same garbage.  When I told her I would not be giving out any more info until I had checked their company out and to please give me a phone number she refused and eventually hung up on me when I repeatedly asked for a phone number that I could call back.   What a scam!!!

I've received several calls from this so called company.  The first agent was very rude and disconnected the call when started asking questions regarding the company she was representing.  The second agent that called became very agitated when pressed for information.  He also said to that he represented National Insurance Verifiers out of Chamaign, IL. I tried to tell him that I wanted my information placed on the Do Not Call List, but he disconnected the call before I could finish.  I will definitely make sure my family and friends know about this unscrupulous company and what they are trying to do.  Thanks for your posting.

I have been lied to, hung up on, told my supervisor was gone for the day then given to a supervisor, but they then admitted it was another call center rep sitting next to the person I just talked to.  I work in a call center and this place is a joke!  Numerous calls and no progress.  Receive phone calls from them, but the person just hangs up now.

Get insurance from them? Haha..

These guys have been blowing my phone up. It's the same damn lady with an eastern accent every time. They hangup when I tell them I'm not interested. It's sales pure and simple. I don't doubt they will send me a list a bargain basement insurance quotes cheaper than what I'm paying now.

What they don't tell you is that these quotes are for the cheapest coverages that will leave you horribly under insured. If you are with a reputable company like State Farm or Allstate their are benefits. If you are a long time customer with a good driving record you will not be dropped or have your rates increased if you get a speeding ticket or file a claim.

If you leave to save a few bucks it will bite you in the a** down the road. Wait and see what your new rate is after a ticket or you have to file a claim. Bottom line is that nobody calls you out of the blue to offer a service in your best interest that does not benefit them in any way. I can't believe they have shills on this site as well.

The only number that has shown when I've received they're calls is 10000000000 !! I've been getting at least 3 calls a day from them for over a week. First 3 calls, I told them not to call me again and finally answered today to a guy who was obviously indian. Couldn't hardly understand him. He knew all my info. ! This was my cell phone and I am on the "No call list" too. I asked him for a phone # to call him back and he said they were an internet base and didn't have a phone #. He gave me their web address instead. I asked him where he got my info. from and he just said they were "National Insurance Verifying Data Base". As if that was an answer!! ???????
don't bother me please!!

National Insurance Verifiers are using the number 317-559-0033 in NYS!   I've only got one call a day for the past several days - finally answered and told them not interested - we'll see what happens.   Does sound like a phone mill - telemarketing operation.

My phone is on the "Don't Call" register and they still call me. I'm filing a Better Business Bureau report on the SOB's. I don't even own a car so they're really uninformed at all levels.

I get a call from these fraudsters all the time and it's getting VERY annoying.  I just got a call from them but the number was 847-960-4120.  I told them to stop calling and take me off the list.  I have U-Verse and have already maxed out the number of blocked calls I can have as part of my service!

Now that I see all of the other posts, I'm fairly certain I have received several calls from National Insurance Verifiers in the last 3 days...I didn't answer any of them except the one from 786-522-0581.  The other calls were from 866-379-2003.  Full disclosure, Erica called me when I was driving home from work on Monday and I couldn't understand anything she said on my car phone so I asked her to call back. She called back Monday evening before I got home, another time after I got home and I didn't answer either of those.  When the same number popped today, I decided to answer it and finally deal with it.  Hopefully, I have.  I will post on this blog if I receive additional phone calls from National Insurance Verifiers.

I received a phone call from 786-522-0581 on my cell phone from Erica Smith.  She said they were calling people in Frederick MD because they had received so many complaints from people in Frederick paying too much for their insurance.  She said it was a public service call and wanted to EMAIL me an insurance survey for me to determine if I was paying too much for my insurance.  I told her I was happy with my insurance company. She said they weren't asking anyone to switch insurance. I asked her what company "they" were.  She finally said the name was National Insurance Verifiers. I asked her who was paying National Insurance Verifiers to do this public service.  She started acting like she couldn't hear me and hung up on me.  This was obviously a telemarketing call, trying to get around the telemarketing rules by posing as a public service call. I am classifying this as call type "unknown" because it does not fall into any of the categories listed.

Yes, I too received a call from "National Insurance Verifers" but from 547 950-4120. I will admit that when asked where I parked my car..I said my living room, same place that I keep my aircraft. The person kept on asking questions, then asked what drugs that I was using..Coke, MJ, or just heavy drinking... I did get his name before all of this as "Craig Davis". I kept on teasing and he started using the "F" word too. Very vulgar...Honestly, I was not! He had my office address, everything about me. I tried to call the number back and would not go through. No idea....I would throughly love to mess this guy up. I think I may had have set up myself now for this guys revenge. LOL...He was pissed, as I took a lot of his time. Oh well....I am puting my email address out there if anyone else has anything to nail this little whimp..   SDFishingFool@aol.com    ....Same address I gave them, by my mistake. But, it is my secondary email. IF by chance anyone knows how I can get through to them please let me know..

Had a lot of fun with these tools. They wanted to provide a public service so I was telling them how it was great timing because my insurance just cancelled me because I got drunk and killed 3 people. She kept asking so I said, "then I saw a baby crawling across the road, but her mom was chasing her so after I hit the baby the mom kicked my car and the insurance company refused to cover the dent from the baby's head and the mom's foot"... I swear I told her like 10 stories like this and she kept wanting to send me a quote.

What a fool.

They don't take you off the list. In fact, they keep calling several times a day. Sometime from a different phone number. When you don't give them the information that they are asking for they just hang up. Refuse to give an email address and boom, they hang up. So info I was able to get out of them. They calling themselfs National Insurance Verifiers out of Chamaign, IL. This appears false to me since all the caller have an Indian accent and the call is routed through South Carolina. Do not give these people real information. It appears that their goal is to get information out of you and then sell that information as sales leads.

They called and told me that they are from NIV and they are not selling any insurance, they will only send free quotations for my car insurance. \and they will send it to my email because the quotation is an internet based quotes. So I answered all the question for me to receive the accurate quotes that is best for me.
