This s is DEFINITELY a SCAM ! We have been scammed by them.They have just added the 'Breakthroughs' website to their identical website called In Focus Martin Sheen, to overcome the action we are taking against them, no doubt trying to build up their audience for the new site to replace the In Focus site when the heat gets too much to keep it going.

We are an Australian company and were seeking to gain exposure for our new Laterelle bike-seats, with the presence of Greg Norman and the other celebrities presented under the 'Guests' tag on the In Focus website influencing us to take up the In Focus offer.

Our action against In Focus Martin Sheen has already forced them to remove one of the celebrity videos and we are on the way to using media coverage and legal action, in unison with some of the celebrities, to put these people out of business.

The In Focus scammers never produce the extensive Public Television exposure they promise or the million narrowcast emails they purport to send. We find it quite amazing that Martin Sheen could make a new intro for the Breakthroughs site when this cam has already been exposed through the Washington Post.

I am getting about 20 phone calls a day from people returning calls from Breakthroughs.  My area is the switch of two numbers in their area code with the same number.  It's driving me crazy and I wish whoever is calling everyone for an interview would be clear that their number has a 561 area code!

Does anyone know who this is?

I have worked with Breakthroughs and they are certainly not a scam. Great production and great crew to work with. My business is growing and we are just starting to reach cosumers on a national level. The exposure is just what we are looking for and the cost is a drop in the bucket for television. If you get chosen to be featured you should jump on the opportunity. Some things are to good to be true.

I'm sure that this is a scam.  Had an "interview" regarding our company's environmental activity with a woman claiming to be a producer for Breakthroughs with Martin Sheen.  Everything sounded on the up and up until she mentioned that because the show was going to Public TV, the cost had to be underwritten by the people or company being interviewed.  What?!  After this came the whole sales pitch about how many people the show would reach etc. etc.  The cost - a paltry $23,000.  I tuned out the minute I was told that I would have to pay THEM for THEIR show.  As always, if it sounds to good to be true, it's because it's a con.

got a message from a guy who said he was Bruce Barrett, working with Martin Shen to produce a program on breakthrough new pain management techniques.   Noone picked up when I tried to call this number back.  Scam ?

I forgot to mention, she said he was a producer for public television.  Sounds like a scam.

Got a voice mail call from a lady who wanted me to call John Scott at 561 826 0552 to discuss an interview about sunstance abuse, which is the field I work in.

Said they were producers for tlc?
