I got an email like this from "Noah Theobald" after I replied to an LA Craigslist ad.  An identical ad is now posted on Maine Craigslist.  The email I replied to was marketstaff@mailmight.com but the Maine ad has a reply email of walidkhandaker@gmail.com

I just received the same email as the above outlined this time signed Lisa Stubb Artwork. Google searched the name and the name Lisa Stubbs is an actual artist. They are getting a little more crafty but my scam-o- meter was pegged so I typed in the name with scam and found this site hope this helps to create a link so no one gets hurt financially.

I received the same e-mail it was signed Holmes Gerber Artworks (561) 865-6857. I receive a lot of these e-mails from job searches on Craiglist. A few yeas back my husband was out of work and he and he excepted a job as a driver from an ad on craiglist, the man told him that he as coming in from out of town on business and would need a driver to drive him around in the city, he sent him a check for over $3,000.00 and then a day later told him his Accountant made a mistake and was supposed to send out two check one to him and the other to his Assistant. He told him to cash the check to take his $400.00 out and send the rest to his Assistant for his travel arrangements. Needless to said my husband being an honest person did what he said and sent the money to his Assistant He figured mistakes like this happen.  A few days later I was about to pay some bills when I looked at our account there was a big negative the check was bad. We are still trying to recover from this scam!!  a few months later we had someone trying to scam us again with a cashiers check from the United Postal Service this time we took it right to the authorities and sure enough it was from a batch of stolen checks. So I tend to be more careful and investigate all my responses and if you send them your resume most of the information that they are asking for is already there, such as name, address....etc.  What is wrong with people? Happy Hunting and BE CAREFUL!!!

Same email received, asked for my info. NOT giving it to them obviously, be careful people. It seemed fishy at first so I immediately entered info into google and came here... Fishy stuff. Be safe people.

I found out this number was a scanner and I gave him or her my information I want to report them.

I guess this guy is still at it. I got the same emails, exact same. I gave him my number and everything, nothing personal or what you wouldnt be able to find in the phone book. He sent me a check for $2570.00 and told me it would be here in 1-2 days. He probably sent me 4 emails and 3 text messages "waiting to hear from me to confirm my payment." The check is from Wescom in Pasadena, CA. It seems legit, going to have it checked out, NOT going to cash it. Just check it out. The person who sent it to me though was HEctor Flores from LAredo Texas. I did some research and found this (keep in mind what exactly you can find on the internet but at this point I wouldnt be surprised to find out this guy has something to do with this)

So I was looking for a job asap n came across this position of a warehouse/inspector n I send my resume n then got a response back from Claudia schappert she then said to to send in my info like name and address etc so I did desperately and then I got a responce back saying I'm hired n first check would be in n stuff n boxes will be delivered etc I was trippin cuz way too fast of a job hired so then that's when I sensed sketchy stuff here... So I did some research typed in the mailers name n companies title Artworks n came across this site with different people talking bout the same situation so then I figured what a scam and still now I'm getting emails from this Claudia schappert telling me that about to receive my paycheck soon etc. What's my best option here then cuz its not crime yet so I cant go the police what should I do cuz I gave this job scamer my info.
