US Directory, yeah sure. Not even clear English. Try and get a real job where your not trying to scam for a living. The US Directory does not make calls. They send letters via USPS.

a guy just called and he said he's from records canada, and he asked if this is my company's number. my first time to receive the call ever, so i said yes. then he hung up. i didn't know until i searched for his number and found this. i'll have him voodooed. he will not sleep for 365 days until he reveals himself.

Bu***hit US Directory.  They call everyone & anyone that they think is in business and want to get you front page listing (FOR A FEE) on Google.  Tell them NOT to CALL  &  They KEEP ON CALLING !!!!

I received a call from this number and advised them that I am on the Federal Do Not Call list at which time a Alex Garcia (as he called himself).  From United States ___________(could not make out the rest).  Started using fowl words, acutally using the F word and A -- H--- word.  Advised him that a complaint would be maded to the Federal Registry (do not call complaint) and hung up..  He called me back 2 more times (last one being 5:58PM on 0618/2010 and each time his wording got worst.     Contated and maded a complaint with the Federal Registry only to find out that here is no record of the number.  This of course would indicate the call is a computer generated called diverted to the 561 calling area and scrambed with unassigned number.  In other words a Hoax, scam, and evil attempts to rid you of your money from overseas in hopes of selling you B.S...

Guy calls me 8 times a day. He claims to be "Alex Vargas". I posted several ads on classifiedads.com. I put ip trackers in my ads and noticed a trend. My ads are placed in several regions and they keep picking up hits from various locations in the Phillipines. Shortly after those hits come, the phone calls come. I think these guys are hacking the database of the site or pulling numbers off placed ads. He wanted to sign me up for a 5 dollar per month classified ad posting service. He kept asking for a credit card and told him to email any information so that I could review it. No email sent so I didn't call him back. I realized then it was a phishing scheme. He calls about 8 times per day. The FBI is looking into it for me. I hope this do***e bag realizes that he is not immune from US Authorities in the Phillipines.

They called speaking speanish. I told them i dont speak spanish and to take me off the list i have received 10 calles in 30 minutes from this number. The guy said he did not speak english and a very perfect english. I want this to stop number from calling me.

Same people call me; I have been placing ads also.  He always ask if I speak spanish in spanish. But then he hangs up. Last time I replied I told him sorry, in spanish. He laughed and then said in English I'm sorry I asked you in panish, and then hangs up. WOW. If this guy is scamming someone's really dumb in this situation. Luckly for me this guy never last beyond the question...go figure.

some mescan called said they had a big job did we speak spanish i said yes handed the phone to my formen after few min he said it was a scam , call back at 3pm no they not worken scamen mescan , dont waste your time crap mescan is what my mexican formen calls these people call back the number its always busy done they are a p o crap mescan.

Constant calls from this number. No messages left.

I got like 5 calls from this number asking for a plumber in spanish , after i told them that i dont speak spanish they kept calling ,untill i let them have it , lol you dont want to mess with a plumber...

Scumbags ripped me off.

I'm From US Directory. we know that somebodypeople don't want to more call from us but is our work and any time anybody call you more but we don't know how many people were called you. But We're Working in tha data base for don't call list.

I have a small business and posted on Craigs List. I led him on as I knew he was scamming. He was after personal information. Identity thief I'm sure.

I got a call from the same number with the same person. How did you find out it was a scam??

Got a call from a guy named Jamil. He asked for me but I pretended that I was someone else. Told him if he could leave a message and told me to call back this # 1-800-928-3230 ext.220. Figured it was a scam. I advertise on craigslist told me he could get me more clients.

I got a call 4x from the same number asking if I speak spanish- after like the 5th time my husband that does speak spanish harrassed thee hell out of the caller it was pretty funny

Guy with some kind of accent called and asked for someones last name (not mine).
I got mad told them to put me on their do not call list and he told me he couldn't do that, he said all he wanted to do was be my friend.
Then i asked him what the name of his company was and listen to this he said he was with INS, and he was only checking if i was a legal. since i had a company.
I asked him where he was born and he said "San Francisco man".
I also post on craigslist.

Just got a call from this number looking for a Tammy  who placed an add about house cleaning. Like Denfasr said he was from United States_________? Told him that there was no Tammy here and that he call Manitoba, Canada. Two seconds later an unknow number comes up with a lady looking for Tammy that placed the add about cleaning houses.  I told her that there isn't a Tammy living here. Then she goes on about but you do clean houses like the add said. Not for a living. So whom ever Tammy is she put the wrong number down or these people can't read.

Jay Are, same exact thing.  Just posted an ad on Craigslist today and I have already been getting the calls.

I just got the call, didnt answer though. I have posted my phone # on craigslist lately. I dont know if any one else has, and maybe thats how theyre getting our number?

Same here, got a call and no VM. I always leave a "No solicitation" clause in my ads, but some just telemarketers just ignore it.
