I do not believe he is a debt collector.

A Handyman Services business card was left on my door. When I called to make an appointment the man said his name was Ray. He did not give me a last name when asked.
I made an appointment for the following day. Waited for 4 hours but he did not arrive. At 6pm, I called to see if he was on his way. He did not answer.
The next day he called & said he had fallen asleep early. When I asked about his company name and license number, he did not provide an answer.

Ray is a repairman who works for himself. I have a broken freezer & fridge. Also a stove that has burners that turn off, then on, then off again & on again, etc. On Monday, Ray came out to the house, looked at the appliances & took photos of the appliance model numbers. He did some research on the stove. On Friday, I received a response to the stove issue. He told me to keep the stove on its highest setting so it would not turn off. This did not work. Nor would having to constantly cook on a setting of 10 been what I consider a fix to my problem. As for the freezer/ fridge issue he never returned. Though, he had me wait on him Wednesday & Thursday afternoon into the early evening. According to his text on Wednesday, he could not make it because me was beat & he had overstrained at the gym. He was going to the pool & jacuzzi. Thursday's excuse was that his muscles were cramping & he was in bed. On Friday, I went to work & waited for his call. At 5:30, he texted that he was free. He declined to meet me because he had a pedicure & spa treatment.

Ray is an appliance repairman who also does general home repairs. His card says Handyman Services and has 561-929-2170 as his phone number. No company name or address. I called him about a refrigerator issue. He had me waiting until 8pm on Monday before showing up. He spent less than 3 minutes looking at the fridge before telling me he did not know what the problem was. Also had him look at stove which has burners come on & turning off. He did not know what the problem was. He did say he had the same issue with his new stove. Ray never used a multimeter on the fridge or any other tools to attempt to diagnose problems. He did let me know he thought I was beautiful & that he loved Colombian girls. He spent 15-20 minutes socializing before telling me he would research the stove issue & to call him if I had any other problems. I waisted an entire day waiting with zero results. The next day he never returned my call.

I don't know this person, nor nmber, so I will not accept any call from him.

Person called claiming to be a friend. Was very vague. Didn't give last name. When I google the phone # it traces back to Ray Sears Service. Maybe it is a collector from Sears. If so, then it would be unlawful for him to not properly identify himself.
