They haven't called in two days its a record!

i believe it is the mag company  i got one month of mags then they stopped coming   i guess i owe something but not paying i didn't even sign up for the stuff my exhusband did

idk men i mean this # calls like more den 5 times every 10 min. so freaking gay because i can't concentrate on doing my homework

Has been calling me for the last week. no answer when i pick up and no voicemail left if I don't pick up... exremely annoying any way to block the number?

They have called, do nor answer the phone and stick you into their computeranswering system.

now they r askin for me by my maiden name and calling my cell phone...Im glad I looked this up so I dont just give in, my story is the same stupid magazines I was tricked into buyin and I canceled them..

they have called so many times, I cant count them.  There is no one talking.   I pick up and cover the microphone, so no one can hear me either.   Then I wait until the b@stards hang up.   Must be a computer.   Twice so far today (monday, feb 4)

These people have been ringing my phone from 2/2/2008 they want you to give them your phone number which I refuse, can some one please tell me where to report these thieves

When I answered my home phone there was no one there, just air.  I then called them back (from my house phone) and it stated that "the wireless customer you have called is out of the network area.  I then called from my cell phone and got a man on the line. I stated that I had recieved a call from this number and he said,"let me have your phone number and I can help you from there."  I gave him my home number and he then said he was from some collection agency and that it was a debt collection for International Maganizes for $436. He then had the never to ask for my credit card number and he would get the debt taken care of.  I asked why it wasn't on my credit report and also if he would give me the number to call these people myself.  He would not do anything he just wanted my money.  A dept back from 1998....I DON'T THINK SO!  It would have shown up before now.

They call my house every day, say i owe for magazines ordered 9 yrs ago.I asked for a list of the mags that were supposedly ordered they said they dont have one.This has been going on for 3 yrs now.They dont even have my right address.nNow they say that the bill was $900.00 but i can settle for 130.00. Yeah right.Settle this a**HOLES.NOW THEY CALL AND ONLY RING 2 RINGS.our not getting anything from me so keep calling i dont answer.

I recieved calls from this number (561-948-8090) they asked me to send money to a po box 9398 peoria,il,61612. They said it was for a magazine that I didnt pay for in 2001. I never ordered any magazine because im not that kind of person. If I want a magazine I would go out and buy it not order it. I belive this is a trick to get quick money. watch out people do not send them anything.

Nobody is on the other line, WTF?

They called me this afternoon. I returned the call and a woman stated I owed 900 dollars for magazine subscription.  I told her I had no recollection of owing any debt or receiving the magazines.  I then asked her for something via mail, she said she did not have my address. I then told her that my lawyer would contact her and she hung up on me.  She said I ordered these in 2000.  I think this is a scam!

4 days without a call!

keeps calling with kids in the background!!! saying  i ordered mags. in 2001 and i owe 400.00$ now, and they are a collection agency,he states that i can pay him over then phone 100.00$ and clear this all up and that they will contuine calling until i pay! WHAT A SCAM!!! I NEVER ORDERED THESE MAGS!!!I DONT HAVE TIME!! they should be stoped many people may fall for this !!! this should not be allowed!!!!!!!

interesting to read all of the various postings.  this is the first time I have received a call from these people and it was a call to my cell phone number - and like all the others - told it is regarding a bill of $582.08 on books from National Reading Club that was ordered back on 4/1/99 - don't think I even had my cell phone at that point in time!  The female was offering me a settlement of $159.99.  When I asked for documentation, etc - she could not do that until I agreed to a settlement.  I told her I was not agreeing to anything and until I had a who, what, when on these so called books/magazines they could refrain from calling me and hung up.  Now I will be interested to see how many more calls I get.

They keep calling and its making me mad... I hate that they can do this all day long. I have been called at night after known working hours of many Collection Agency so I know its not them... I wish for this to STOP!!!!

my fiancey got stuck with a magazine company called american elite media she some how got sucked into a 3 year agreement with them she made the first 5 payments and she never received the first magazine she stopped making payments she contacted the a number of times and told them she wasnt receiving the magazines they kept saying she still had to pay the bill and she still never received a magazine well a year later luebke baker and assoc. contacted her he sead he would settle the debt of 419.00 for 199.00 if she payed now she told me what was going on and i called them he said he would settle for 150.00 i was very skeptical but i told my fiancey to go ahead and pay it right after she did i was told from a sheriffs officer that that was stupid i shouldent have gave them the money but we were worried about her credit so on that note dont trust american elite media or luebke baker and assoc. and i will be contacting somebody about them

many calls finally put my numbers on the do not call lists and files a complaint against them for harrasment since then NOT 1 CALL haaa  no more calls hopefully!!! this is such a fraud!!!! these people should rot for doing what they are doing to people !!! what about the elderly people that thinks this is real and pays these people!!! they should be stopped!!!! put your numbers on the do not call list and file a complaint!!!! every time  after that i was told they could be fined!!! give them back what they are doing to us!!!!!

I received these calls, I get numbers that are disconnected the second I call back and then I also get these jerks. I answered the call a couple weeks back told them I never received magazines or heard of the company. Normally I'm a nice person, but I started yelling right away. They told me that they would let the company know that I was scammed and they wouldn't call back. BS! Within a week they are calling me back. I don't want this getting on my credit report.

This lady who sounds so sweet and innocent (yeah right!) her name is Sadie ex.#120 1-800-257-7654 which is not in service now. I've called this # several times before and someone picks up and all you hear is a busy office full scammers and then they hang up in your face. Anyway, she told me that she was frwhatom a collections bureau and I owe GOLF COAST READERS $500. I told her no I didn't they owe me magazines. She said, that they we're to send my stuff, but I had to pay the full balance. So I'm like, for what I don't have anything. She said, here's what they can do if I pay $269 that they would send me my magazines and I wouldn't to worry about them again. So, I payed that and they still have not sent anything. I call and I call, still I get boot. So, let's if they will to my legal advisor. Tune-in.
