they are calling me about a warranty. they need to find something better to do.
Juan 2011-06-06 20:51:38 Unknown
They apparently are calling my house as well....we're on the do not call list! what is up with this scam crap??? this is just bizzarro!!!
Mark 2011-06-06 20:51:38 Unknown
they continually call my cellphone too. I think that is illegal. I actually got a rep once and told him I don't own a car...it didn't help as the calls keep coming.
Does this website do anything about spurious calls like this or is it just a forum to complain about them?

I've got these calls too, and yes I'm with AT&T. I think it might have to with that because i've read stuff before in the past about these numbers being linked with AT&T. If anyone else post after this, please list what cell phone/phone provider you have so we can get to the bottom of this. I used to have sprint and I never recieved calls like this until I switched.

I got this call too-- I went to the googled link that kati left in her post. There is a link to email this scam artist/pastor. I sent an email with a fake return email and told the scum that the jig is up-- the florida attorney general is on her case and to knock off the calls.
Everyone here should do the same. Go see Kati's post.

561-967-9955 has called me several times, usually don't answer it. Answered this time and got a recorded message about my car's warranty running out and about needing to renew it.

This person calls my cell phone about a car warranty continuously and won't stop. I wait for them to come on the line and they ask for the make and model of my vehicle. I tell them to remove my number from their calling list and they just hang up on me. I call the number back and it says it is disconnected. The won't stop calling!!!!

This person calls my WORK cell phone about a car warranty continuously and won't stop. We have waited for them to come on the line and they ask for the make and model of my vehicle. I tell them to remove my number from their calling list and they just hang up on me. I call the number back and it says it is disconnected. They have been continuously calling for the past few months.

My husband and I both have AT&T also! There has to be a link. How can they be getting the information. Both of our cars have warranties that are nowhere near expiring. They also immdiately hang up on you when you start to ask questions.

I think we should bombard the number with phone calls and give them a taste of their own medicine. Let them know how aggravating it feels to receive constant unsolicited phone calls! Tee-hee!!

Missed call from Norbert Alicea. Another scam I'm sure, is there a way to block these things?
Shel 2011-06-06 20:51:38 Unknown
These people call me daily, if you stay on the line, you can get an actual pesron. I wanted to tell them to stop calling me so I waited, got a guy on the phone, started letting him have it, and he HUNG UP ON ME! Who does business like that?
Amanda 2011-06-06 20:51:38 Unknown
they called my mobile number and I called back twice. First time it was all circuits were busy next it was number had been disconnected
Robin 2011-06-06 20:51:38 Unknown
This number also calls my phone several times per week, and says the same "vehicle Warranty" message. I just filed a complaint with the FCC, it's form 1088 and they research the number. I figure if enough people file the complaint something will happen. I have asked them several times to take me off their calling list and i get all kinds of different answers each time...some laugh at me, some say "Yea right" and others simply say "ok" and don't do anything.

I received a miss call from this number about 3:17 this afternoon. Googling it I get this website and a name of Norbert, when I call this number back it says it is disconnected. Funny thing is I have a leased vehicle and I have a warranty that won't expire till the lease is up, so this is most definitely a scam! I have had many calls from disconnected numbers that when googled, seem to be car warranty scams!
Jennifer 2011-06-06 20:51:38 Unknown
I receive this call just about every day. I have yet to listen to the entire message. I don't have a "warranty" on my vehicle, so I know it's a bunch of B.S. I also looked up the number on 411.com and it came up with the name Norbert Alicea in Florida. I'm in Boston...go figure!
Phil 2011-06-06 20:51:38 Unknown
I received the call today as well
NatefrmMI 2011-06-06 20:51:38 Unknown

I got a call about a month ago about activating my vehicle warranty, only days after getting a new cell phone and number. The thing is my vehicle is 17yrs. old! I too called the number back and got the "disconected..." message. So, our cell numbers aren't secure (mine's at&t).
Dee 2011-06-06 20:51:38 Unknown
They call me continuously, too, It is always a recorded message re warranty repair insurance on my vehicle........which, by the way, is now more than 10 years old! My phone number is unlisted and unpublished, so they are calling me illegally. They must be using a credit card or other type of listing on which all our phone numbers appear. Perhaps we should each report this to the local police there in FL and in our own cities or towns, and/or bring it to the attention of a local TV News person who researches things like this.

I've been receiving these calls for at least a year or more. Same line about "an expiring warranty". It's definitely NOT unique to AT&T customers. I just switched from Verizon two weeks ago and they persist. I'm also on the "Do Not Call" registry.
I only have a cell phone, so this really makes me angry that they 1. are allowed to even call cell phones and 2. they're wasting my minutes by continuing to harass me.
Even if they WERE a legitimate business (doubtful) they would be the LAST company on the planet I'd buy anything from.

Cesar 2011-06-06 20:51:38 Unknown
