I receive a call from this number at least once a day on my cell phone. If it is linked in some way to Kaplan University, I really have no clue how they got my cell #. I haven't had anything to do with college in about 10 yrs! But it seems my # is on some list somewhere since I get calls from various #s everyday that show up as scams or whatnot when I google them. If only the Do Not Call list actually worked.

Calls are from Kaplan University wanting to enroll you in online college courses. BE CAREFUK WHEN REGISTERING SOFTWARE,  HARDWARE or just filling out a simple questionnaire. IF YOU STATE ANYWHERE THAT YOU A) NEVER COMPLETED COLLEGE, B) ARE INTERESTED IN FURTHERING YOUR EDUCATION C) DREAM OF A XXXXXX DEGREE D) ALL OR NONE OF THE ABOVE, IT SEEMS TO TRIP A LEVER AT KAPLAN AND YOUR NAME & # IS GIVEN TO THEM (SMALL PRINT. AGREEMENT) AND TGEY BEGIN AN AGGRESIVE, MOSTLY POMITE PUSH FOR YOU TO " FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS " AT KAPLAN...GET THAT DEGREE IN NO TIME!  JUDT AN F Y I FOR. ALL. TO STOP THEM, I USED THE " WELL I WOUKD LIKE TO GET A PHD AND SO ON BUT I HAVE HAD A HORRIBLE YEAR FINANCIALLY....I DON'T THINK A SCHOOL LOAN COULD HELP AT THIS TIME. IM SO BROKE AND IN DEBT ....THEY END THE CALL FAST, BELIEVE. ME. LOL.

This phone number keeps calling after I asked them to stop. They claimed that I was inquiring info about school.. I am 37 years old, I have a high school aged child in all kinds of sports and a 4 year old also in all kinds of sports along with my full time paying job, my mom job and wife job. I never inquired about school. However I did inquire to try and win some tickets and it started asking all kinds of questions and I know that is where it came from. I will be reporting them ASAP!!

I remember when my phone used to never ring.LOL So screw you pigs!

It is Kaplan for sure.  I counted and the phone rang 23 times before It stopped.  *69 led me to the 561-981-7600.  I googled it, called, and sure enough................Kaplan.

This number calls me at 7am on Sunday morning and several times all day every day - I want them to stop-  NOW

I was interested in going to Kaplan, but now they have started the none stop calling..

I keep receiving calls that ring until I pick up.  After 5 seconds I get a dial tone.

they call me today!  i did not answer the phone at all.. they are all sick people up there.
simple solution i never answer phone calls from people i dont know.  it all bull those crazy telemarketers...

I keep getting phone calls on my cell phone, from Kaplan University, I am 70 years old and have no intention of going to college, can you stop them from calling me. Also same university, with the number of 954-424-4700.

This caller calls me at least 3 times a day I do not answer the call and they never leave messages.
I do not want Kaplan University to call my Phone Number NO FREAKING MORE I'M PUTTING LIKELY.

I keep getting calls from this number and from several other numbers tied to private colleges. If you submit an online request for college information, your info goes to a lead company that sends your info to several colleges immediately and simultaneously... but in this case today, I believe someone else has gone online and submitted my personal information without my permission.... an interesting form of harrassment!

I've been getting these calls too.  I did NOT request any information on this terrible college.  I am a college grad already, and so is my husband (we graduated over a decade ago).  No one in my family has requested information on this college either - kids are too young to even use the phone.

I have requested to be removed from their list, with/out written confirmation.  Does NOT work!!!!  They keep calling.

A Kaplan Admissions Advisor, you are mistaken.  They are harassing people that aren't even interested.  I do NOT give out my cellphone number.  It is on the national do not call reg. and I ALWAYS make up a phony number when typing it ANYWHERE over the internet.  Hence, you probably bought my phone number from someone else and are now spam calling me.

A very simple solution, for those who receive unwanted calls from this number (the Boca Raton, FL Kaplan University admissions office), is to tell the representative to "please remove me from your call list" when he (or she) calls. If you missed the call, then call them back, or at least leave a voice mail stating this.You can even reply to one of the emails we send. The school has a strict do not call policy, and will not call, mail, or email you again if you request us not to.We all leave at least one initial voice mail explaining who we are and why we called, and leave our direct contact information.

Do not make an excuse, ignore the call, hang up, or tell us to call later, because then we will try to reach the potential student at a time when they will actually be available. Advisors often call the same number once or twice a day over several weeks, because we never know if the person who made the inquiry actually knows that we called. If they did, then common courtesy says they would have answered the phone, or called us back. If you did request information, but then changed your mind, just tell us. No one working at Kaplan has any reason to reach out to you if you have no plans to speak with us.

How did you get on this list? You, or a family member, must have indicated somewhere, usually online, a request for information about attending college. Either that, or someone else entered a wrong number which happened to be yours.

this number calls me at least five times a day. never leaves a message. I called the number back twice but all I get is "the number did not connect".
Ureeka? I just called the number again as i'm writing this and it was KAPLAN UNIVERSITY military division.
I told them to quit calling me. Guess what? They called my land line and hung up. I wonder if the military knows about these unwanted calls?
