Melissa Schaab, is one of a kind, cause if she worked for me I would fire her.  Syntech has lied about their payments to my company.  They owe me $4000.00 dollars and now they are trying to charge me for the defective parts.  They have made excuses for all of their failures,  DON'T TAKE ANY CALLS FROM THIS COMPANY.

I have had the experience of working with Syntechs for just the last 3 months. We met all of the contract requirements, shipped defective parts, uploaded the pics and the documents.  We still had to fight with them to get our first check.  We had to constantly call them to get them to send us the return air weight bill for the return parts.  Melissa Scheeb, let me just say she is a piece of work,  every time I encountered her she would create a fight with every issue.  Rude, unprofessional, and out of touch with reality, is the only way to describe Melissa.  We are seeking litigation against this company for payment.

Wow, I have been with Syntechs from Oct 2011, it started out as a part time job for the holidays, but since Jan 1, 2012 I started full time with them closing about 100 calls at the end of May 2012, things were great. Then they changed there SLA to 1hr by email which is fine, but a majority of my income was from out of town jobs, locally I went from about 60 calls to 30 calls a month thru Sept 2012. The paychecks started getting later, they fixed it in September of 2012 and now we only got less than 1/2 of our paycheck for the month of Nov 2012, when I called my supervisor, he said"OH I THOUGHT I TALKED TO YOU ABOUT THIS, WE ARE ONLY PAYING A PORTION OF OUR TICKETS FOR NOVEMBER 2012, AMTRAN STOP PAYING US SO WE DECIDED FOR THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS WE WOULD GIVE YOU A LITTLE SOMETHING $530 FOR A WHOLE 45 DAYS LATER, REALLY I QUIT THE SAME DAY THE CHECK CAME, I STILL HAVE DEAD PARTS AND PANELS THAT NEED TO BE RETURNED, THEY HAD THE NERVE TO CALL ME AND ASK ME IF I WAS OK TO RUN THE REST OF THE CALLS IN MY QUEUE AFTER I QUIT, I TOLD THEM I WOULD RETURN WHAT CORE PARTS I HAD WHEN THEY SENT MY CHECK, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Be careful, i picked up some parts from another tech even before I started feilding calls. I am a computer consultant and bidding on a large laptop replacement for homeland security. This company did not pass any of my vetting requirements. They had me fixing TV's rather than laptops so I'm not sure if the field techs had any real knowledge of laptops. However the tech support people are wonderful to work with short hold times and very knowledgeable. The administration however was like playing in a sand box with children. They imediately started to threaten to charge me for 60 + TV parts I picked up from a tech who quit (I know why now) I asked them nicely, them begged them to send me an email to confirm what parts they were going to charge me for so I could send them back. Mellisa S apperently a project manager or some such person, dosn't know how to use email apperently. The hard drive on my service truck went out and I could not recieve email while on the road, she mistook this for me not having email at all and started using it as an excuse telling me she sent the information but because my email was broke she had to charge me. Obviously dosn't know how email works, the server was fine and my desktop still recived emails, it was just a poor excuse to charge me for parts the tech who quit could not pay for. I am glad for my company I did not use them for the large contract it would have been a nightmare.

Schaab, is her last name and I must agree with you. Ignorant, arogant and useless. I have owned my own computer consulting bussiness for 22 years and mostly contract to the government. I was vetting the company SynTechs for a large national Laptop replacement contract with homeland security that I was bidding on. I signed up with them to see if there operation would be a good fit to supply my company with field techs. However, I took 5 jobs that I never got paid for, and this Mellisa kept calling me threatening to charge me for 60+ parts that I picked up from another tech (as an unpaid favor to SynTechs) who had all of the abuse he could handel from this peice of work. She must look like a super model or be related to the boss because she has no social skills whatsoever, and no bussiness sense at all.

This "SERVICE" company is a sorry excuse, they are pathetic. They will lie to you. 3 weeks and they did not ever show up to my house!
I was scheduled 3 times for repairs and nobody showed up, ever. I guess i am really thankful though, I don't think I would really want them in my home or working on my tv.

I have been working for Syntechs as a field technician for about 4-5 months now.
The only real issue I've had is that the checks seem to be issued later than what was told to me. (On the 14th, instead of the 10th) and I get the checks usually around the 20th because I live on the other side of the Country in Oregon.

Other than that, all of these complaints that I am finding on the internet ever since 2009 about this company, things like "They dont pay at all" - "They make you wait 2 months" - "They randomly charge you for broken tvs you didnt break" and all these horrible stories about them being rude and not caring seem to be untrue so far.

The fact that they REQUIRE you to take pictures of the unit and work area before and after AND have the End User Initial and Sign that there was NO damage, seems to defeat peoples statements that they randomly get charged for unbroken units...

The only purpose of all these bad stories serve, is to make me extremely nervous about working for them, lol.

I've actually been working for Syntechs for 3 years now and find them to be fair on most things.  If there is a problem, I have direct contact with the vendor relations people who fix it within a few days.  It's not all perfect, but, hey really what company is?  I make thousands each month doing some work for them.  I've had my checks every month with no problems.  I've also worked with ITI and find them equally as acceptable.  If you like to earn some money, it's easy work. Most calls take 20-30 minutes to run.  The only bad part is local calls because you really don't get paid enough.  The bid jobs are nice because you can bid them up a bit.  They work with you. Personally I like the extra work and will continue with them unless it changed.

I have been working for Syntechs for over 2 years now
They pay a flat rate for work and pay on the 16th of every month (for the last months work)
I have had some trouble with some of there employees over the phone but could always talk to there supervisors and get things resolved, some of the employees like to threaten you with fines but if you tell them you will quit working for them they will not press any fines or fees.
There tech support is not very logical but if you treat them like a baby you can make some ok money doing easy work

I worked for Syntechs for a few years around 10 years ago, it always seemed like failure of their business was right around the corner like when they relocated their HQ to FL or when they switched from net-30 payments to techs to net-60 payment schedule (which is about when I left). They were mostly a pleasure to work for when I was there, but I lost a lot of work when they lost Best Buy warranty work when the Geek Squad was acquired by BB.

I don't recall ever being backbilled for any parts or breakage, but then again, I'm a good technician and don't break things I'm supposed to be fixing & I returned the parts in a timely manner. The net-60 payment terms are insane, that and a lack of volume overall was why I quit. It seems like you'll never be paid when you're waiting so long after doing the work to receive payment.

Though the part took some time to get here, the repairman was great.  My wife said he was a weird one, but not the creepy kind that you feel  has skin lamps at home. He was on time, courteous, professional (poor short circuit joke). He also followed through with having my wife check it over.  In Manhattan, KS, the guy was great. I hope this helps.  I would recommend this guy to anyone here in Manhattan, KS.

I just started with SynTech people. I am waiting on them to call me when the parts for my TV to come in. This company is contracted through GEEK SQUAD, so I will keep you all informed on my experience with them.  So far, I'm indifferent...they are waiting on the ordered parts before they can schedule to fix my TV.

I have worked with Syntechs for about a year also, and I love working with them. They pay according to the contract we signed, 15 days after close of month, and always negotiate on price. The only issue I have experience is the people on the phone are rude to both the customers and the tech, I get LOTS of complaints from customers when onsite about the Syntechs guying being rude and arrogant, and I get the same when I call in as a tech to close out work orders.

as of today, we, the techs are still getting orders from syntechs, so nothing has been pulled. i have worked for the company for about a year now, i enjoy the work, there have been a few small bumps in the road, but nothing i cant deal with. overall i like the company, and will continue to work for them until the sutuation changes

Syntechs is a rip-off scam third party repair provider.
I did two jobs for them, and have supporting eMail documentation where we agreed on charges and payments.
 They owe me lots of money, and refuse to take my phone calls, or reply to my numerous Invoices.
 Do not accept work orders from these crooks, because you will not get paid even with full documentation of your agreement with these crooks.

your Tv does not have big problem If you can open your TV from back side screw its easy to fix. You have problem with LVDS cable only you have to clean both ends of the cables which are connecting mother board with small drive board which is on the top of back side of the screen. just clean with tooth brush and put it back will work fine.

Hmmm...  I have no problem with Syntechs and I have a friend who has been doing jobs for them for years with no problems of getting paid.

I get paid monthly - received a check last week.  I have an assigned territory with fixed rates where I do warranty repair jobs using parts shipped to me.  Service calls outside my territory come up and I am asked what I would charge.  We always come to a price that is mutually agreeable.  They do what they say.  My experience with Syntechs as been good.

In a down economy, this is a good way for an A+ certified technician to pick up some extra cash.

My Vizio TV mdl.# L37HDTV began operating poorly so I called the Vizio tech support 8888494623/9494282525. They put me into a "scrub". I left a message. Then I found a different number on the web - 877698496 which answered as Vizio tech support.Told them the problem and they told me they use 2 reeair companies: 1) -  ITI at 888-248-2708 called them and was put various times into a scrub. Left a message. 2) - HDR at 8006389682. "Tom" answered and asked me to take a picture of the screen (red hue) which I did and sent it to them via email at "outofwarranty@hdrepair.com" Today, I got a call from ITI, a Mr lazaro (sounds like) saying to call back their same number. I did but, again a scrub. Then I got a call from the number you mentioned above and spoke to Julie and her supervisor Melissa. I called back that number (5619888795) and they suggested I do a "technical check" with their technitiin over the telephone - cost $25.00 via credit card. Time of call is next Tuesday at 1430 hours-East coast USA. That also happens to be early morning in Eastern Asia. When I called back that number, however, they answered "Syntechs".....and NOW I read your comments on that company. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON?....I AM VERY APPRECIATIVE FOR ANY CLARIFICATION YOU CAN GIVE ME. THANK YOU, GUYS. - John

Sir, this is what going on. Vizio contracts companies (ITI) and (Syntechs) to do warranty repairs for their products. We then sub the work out to independent contractors.

I recently had to deal with Melissa ,she was horrible if my workers treated my custormers like that they would be unemployed .  So, I never will do business with that place again I already told  viz.  she the most ignorant person ..I wanted her boss  no. and she said there nobody over her .She woudn`t even give me her last name ,something to hide ..to bad found the  owner that owns the place he will be receiving email and hand written letter ...
