Got a call this morning said was from office depot. Wanted to speak with accounts payable. Number was forwarded, called it back to mess with them and it does not ring. Just another scam.

left a message from Shamal, it was legit from Office Depot because I just placed an order and they had the information correct.

Got a call from 561-997-5181 claiming to be Office Depot asking for tge person in charge of ordering; then asked "Did you order a laptop this morning", I said no we did not, he said ok ill cancel the order then just sat there until I hung up...very strange. I can't be sure it was office depot. ..maybe a scam?

We received a message from this number.  Whatever message they left was very, very garbled!  It sounded like someone asked us to call an 800 number to discuss some products which we had ordered - on line - from Office Depot.  However, it was impossible to hear the number which he left and we had trouble understanding any of the other numbers which he left in his string of numbers.  What is strange about this call is that, when we contacted Office Depot about the items which we had ordered - but which had not yet arrived - we specifically requested that they contact us via E mail, rather than by phone.  The reason we always ask for E mail responses is because these representatives who can barely speak English are somewhat more understandable when they have to boil their message down to a written communication.  

On 9/17/13 I got an email that said it was from Office Depot, confirming my order of a laptop computer. The purchaser is a name we've never heard of. The ship to was my husband's name, but to a Florida address (we're in Washington state). The credit card number was xxxx 3263 -- we don't have any accounts ending in 3263. I emailed Office Depot thru the web and let them know what happened, thinking it was a phishing email.

On 9/18/13 on my caller ID was (561) 997-5181 which is a Florida number. When I looked that up I got this website. They didn't leave a message and never called back so I didn't know what was going on.

Today (9/19/13) I got a call from (813) 504-8307. It was a delivery driver for Office Depot, in Florida, and he couldn't find the address he was supposed to deliver the laptop to. I told him NOT to deliver it, this was a fraudulent purchase. He was foreign and had a bit of a struggle to understand me. He said he would not deliver it.

So now I don't know what to think. The buyer's name is unknown to us. The ship to address had our name but a Florida address. The account the purchase was made on is not one of ours. But they obviously had our phone number on record because they called us looking for the delivery location.

This is a scam. They wanted credit card info for an order I supposedly placed. They said it was for a laptop. I never ordered anything from Office Depot which they claim they are calling from.

I got a call waiting tone. This number was in my caller ID, identified as Office Depot. I tried twice to dial it and got a phone company recording. I followed up with a call to Office Depot' s number listed on their site. This number is NOT in their directory.

Agreed. In my case this was a totally legit call. I entered the wrong CID code on my order and they called to verify. Only Expiration Date and CID were asked of me and they confirmed the order number to me. No phishing attempts.

This was a legitimate call from Office Depot. I was missing part of a package of an order. Since we have theft of packages in the area, I was concern I was yet again a victim of theft. So they call to inform me there were separate packages and gave me the tracking number for the second package.

You can't dial the number back either.  Nice.

Everytime I order from office Depot, someone calls to be my personal agent or salesman with them! I have told each caller, and it's always a different one, to PLEASE NOT CALL ME EVERY TIME I ORDER! They STILL do it.

Caller claimed he was from Office Depot. Calling about the order I had placed (I placed no orders EVER) with Office Depot. Claiming that my order could not be processed due to an error in bank verification (scam).

This is a contracted company that works for Office Depot.  I had to cancel an order after nondelivery (3 days no order).  This was the call back number of the person who handled my cancellation.  When she emailed me, her email indicated it was Office Depot (Contractor).  It may be a Palm Beach County number, but it seemed to me that it was a foreign outsource company. She had a very thick accent. Who knows what other companies they make calls for.

This is not office depot. It is a scam. A reputable company like OD would not behave this way.

I got a call on my CELL phone telling me my order didn't go through at Office Depot.  It was pretty easy to figure out right away, as OD had already told me my order shipped!  They were trying to get my VISA number.  Jerks!

All they left on the message was background noise of them talking to someone else.

This phone number is a general phone number that most of my sales people from Office Depot have had. My guess is it is a call center. Considering they never give a phone number and always ask to correspond via email.

Had a call to ask for my code off card.  I did place an order online to OD, but didn't trust the caller.  
Called Office Depot's 800 # and gave my order #, they still wanted to verify the code.  I asked where I was calling to from dialing - 800.GO.DEPOT (800-463-3768) and was told the Philippines and thought so by the accent  I said no, cancel order and send me verification in email.  I'll buy this at the store 15 miles away.

I don't like shopping at Office Depot.  Ertime I go to their store their customers just, well lets just say they don't look me in the eyes.  It's very uncomfortable.

I had some good experiences with OD in the past but here recently it's got downright disurbing.  Almost everytime I speak with my rep Mrs. Penrod I can hear someone in the background talking about either rape vans, rape dungeouns, or someone licking peanut butter of his nipples.  Very Very unprofessional.

I like squirrles.  And pajama pants.

Office Depot is a joke!  They always call just to "check in" and waste my time.  I'm at work.  I've got things I need to do.  I don't just sit around all day answering phones, reading Us Weekly, and eat beef jerkey by the  bag.

My experience with OD has been nothing but spectacular.  I have a rep that does a wonderful job.  He is courteous and has a vast knowledge of what Office Depot offers and always has some deals to help me save money.  Without my rep, our business wouldn't run as smoothly as it does.  GOD BLESS OFFICE DEPOT AND GOD BLESS MY REP SCOTT KOCH!!!
