Another hangup call from these DNC violating scammers. 10:37 am today.

they called and hung up once phone was answered.  called the 818 # for design ctr in van nuys.  i asked for manager;  eastern accented idiot said "he is dead".  i spewed what i thought of him including having "tiny" parts - he sickeningly kept laughing and saying how beautiful and what a sweet girl i was.  these people are:   sickening.  their website SEEMS pro but they are in essence,  B*****DS reaping the rewards of being in this country and scamming people out of precious time.  lowlifes.

Why does anybody return a call to an unknown number? There is no RULE that you have to return the call. Don't call them back and DO NOT answer calls from unknown numbers. A legitimate company will leave a message if you've won or inherited a million dollars.

12/08 10:34 PST  Can't believe that these creeps have been reported since 2008 and are still in business.  What does it take to close these creeps down?  If you check 800notes, you'll find there have been at least 10 pages of complaints.  I understand the DNC doesn't do too much to protect us, but shouldn't  reporting to the FCC or FTC have some sort of effect?

12/08 10:34 PST Another incredibly annoying pest.  No ID and no message.  Returning call gives message of disconnected #.  If I hadn't been on another call, wouldn't have bothered to even acknowledge this one!  It would appear that this is another one that should be shut down, since there are already ten pages of complaints.

Dame it! It is impossible to function in society without ending up on one of these "harassment" call lists. There must be some serious morons out there that keep these people in business. I wonder what Dante would have done to these D bags.

Can't believe this number is cycling around again. I already had them ditched from a year ago but just letting others know so if you use a service like mine then you can pre-empt and set up a ditch ahead. I use youmail.com tThanks "A Consumr" I'll add the additional numbers to the contact so I can capture them.

Anyone that calls back this number thinking they will actually get a person is unaware of services that they use and consumers like me have turned to in order to stop their annoying call backs. It's not "out of service" they and so do I, use a service that will not allow call throughs. It's called ditching. If you have a computer then I strongly suggest signing up. It's free,. I add my landline and cell then as calls come through you tag them and "ditch" them. My response is only one ring and they hear "this number is no longer in service" I have my preferences set to send me an email alerting me whenever someone calls (with a link to their voicemail) or if they hangs-up who it was. If they have no caller ID, I just have it set to tell them to unblock or they will not be allowed to call through or leave a message. DNC does not work on scammers so don't even trust that it's failing you. These are scammers who aren't legit so they won't pay attention to the DNC list, it's only for legitimate telemarketers.

Polite call from woman with "Home Design Center" pushing home remodeling, with the often heard "We have some people doing work in your area" storyline. I said "I've never heard of that company, where are you at?" She hesitated and said "the valley". "San Fernando" I asked, she said yes. Anyway she was very polite and apologetic when I pointed out that they were breaking the law - with the usual "we'll take you off the list" dodge. Right. Well at least this one was polite.

Given the long track record of this number, blocking it will be worth the effort. Filling out the FTC form now, maybe someday they'll stomp on this bug.

Soliciting home remodeling offers. When I asked to be removed from his calling list he hung up.

11/18 12:52 PST Called but only rang once.  Don't feel deprived since there was no ID, probably some sort of robocall and not interested in anything this type of business has to offer.  Just noticed there was a 5 yr. break in reporting this number.  From 2008 to this year, there are no reports about this one.  What's up with that?

Just got a call from this number - I only answered because I am waiting for a package and the driver is supposed to arrive shortly. The woman on the other end of the phone had my name and my address (and obviously my phone number to match)! Then she talked so fast that I could not make out the name of the company, if she mentioned it at all, and she rambled on about financing help for home improvements. When I got a word in edge-wise, I told her #1 we can't afford it, and #2 we are on the "do not call list". She talked over me and tried again to sell me financing, when I repeated that regardless what her pitch is, I was on the "do not call list". She actually got a little pissy, accusing me of lying, that I could not afford to remodel, and then switching to the "do not call list" issue. What nerve! Was she trying to piss me off? Scam or not, this no way to try to make a sale. I am filing a complaint with the FCC, for whatever that's worth.

Got call and blocked them instantly. Crooked calling!

Not only am I rolling over in my grave at what has been done with my invention, I, and a few others, are even thinking of using up some of our stored energy and - HAUNTING these cowardly misfits.
    Talked with some of the old timers who worked for "The Company," and they are willing to help.  We have chosen this number to start, since they don't leave messages, or - in some cases won't say anything when someone answers their telephone.  
    Tell everyone you get a chance to tell about those that do this to others, one way to get the word out.  Also don't forget the Federal Trade Comission, the Federal Communications Comission, and for Cell Phones, those wonderful new gadgets, the Secret Service, yes they handle them.

    Make up your own NO ANSWER list, and stick to it.  NEVER call back a toll free number unless you want to be charged for the call, yes, even if you are blocked and unlisted.  Since THEY are paying for the call, they get your number on their bill.
