6/17 10:43 PDT Already 5th garbage call today.  Only rang once.

I keep getting from 562 240-1191, 1-310-361-6336, 1-909-255-9305, 1-626544-5520( research center)and
1-602-7539893 1518-4171294 and  Novatel 1-210-249-0540 1-310-358-5875 1562-747-5581  (va27100816000022)

I am on the do not call list and these people call at different  times.  When the phone rings I always
think that it is my sister calling about my Mom and I get all nervous and anxiety.
Please have them stop calling me.  I have called on the phone with a lot of these numbers and
they still call.

filed complaint with FCC - probably waste of time.  Everyone should write their lawmakers in DC to fix the current loophole that makes call id spoofing LEGAL because it's not "harming" anyone.  Stupid.

3/10 17:00 PDT First garbage call today.   These "people" just don't get it!!  Have called at least a dozen times since last year, never received an answer from me and still keep trying, even though blocked.  Have reported to FCC & FTC mid-Feb., 2014.

2/19 12:40 PST Apparently 11th attempt to call me, that I have reported here.  Based on notes at Spokeo, there are 49 complaints against this telemarketer for some contractor in Seal Beach - Long Beach area.  Have had blocked since last July but just keep trying to call.  I am getting consumed by all of this crap.  Good thing I'm retired.  About to report to FTC & FCC.

Called, went to recorder, they hung up. What I can't understand is that my message says: "Due to a high volume of telemarketing calls we are forced to screen our calls, so if you want to speak to (my name) or (my wife's name), you will have to leave a message and we will call you back."
It's been that way for four months. We never answer, without exception. The message hasn't changed the entire time either. Nobody has had any success contacting us by telephone in at least four months, and still I get 30+ calls every day. Most don't stay on to hear the message, so I know they've called before and already know what it says. Most show up as a number the phone company says is not a valid number (999-999-9999, etc.). Some with area codes like 001..., fake numbers, most show the caller as unavailable, not available or it shows the name of the state the call originated from. And these are just the ones that stay on the line until my recorder beeps for them to talk, the rest don't wait that long and I get no information at all about the caller or where they're calling from.
This goes on all day, every day. Months ago when I used to answer my phone, 90% of these calls hung up on me after I answered. They were still on the line, I could hear them breathing or other voices in the background, but they would never say anything, they just hung up.
I can't figure out any logical reason for anybody to do that - it's just bizarre, but after being told that we don't, and won't answer these calls, and knowing that we can't call them back unless they leave their name and phone number, and getting the same result every time they call after months and months - this is beyond weird. These people are psychopaths!
I can't block them because I don't know what numbers to block, I can't block numbers without caller ID because they have caller ID, it's just a fake number and a fake ID. I'm not going to change numbers because I've had this same number for 30 years and too many people know to reach me at this number.
I'm at the end of my rope. The phone company says they have no way to stop them, or even identify them, other than the call blocking features I mentioned earlier that are useless for this situation.
I may have to take them to court for harassment, negligence, not delivering the services they are contracted to provide, whatever. I'm not a lawyer and I know I'll lose, but maybe they will eventually get tired of sending their lawyers to court and pay attention. I'm afraid it's going to take a lot of complaining from a lot of people before they get off their a***s and do something to stop this crap. So don't just write a note here where nobody sees it, send your complaints and any information you have to everyone you can think of. Phone companies, law enforcement, gov't agencies at all levels, friends and relatives. If we make enough noise it will be addressed. The phone companies could stop it in a heartbeat, they just don't see it as a big enough problem for them to get involved, yet. Let's make some noise and get our phones back!

1/24 9:54 PST Still trying but since blocked, only rang once.  Started almost a year ago and simply don't seem to understand, not going to get an answer.  Their wasted time, not mine!

I just got a call from this number and they asked for my husband by first name. I asked who was calling and the woman said she had spoken to him some time ago regarding home improvement. Told her she must be mistaken ... She said he told her to call back! No possible way he ever would have done that. Anyway, she was extremely rude and pushy. She told me he was much more polite than I was to her! Is there anyway in the state of California to block these telemarketers?  I work from home and they call day in and day out? National Do Not Call list a joke!! So ready to cancel the home phone number I have had for many years just because of these annoying calls.

I get this call almost daily, I started answering the phone with Thank you for calling Dial a Prayer.  Gee I get hung ups from them.

They called and nobody there.  They have called 5 times since May 2, and nobody is ever thee.

called twice again, what is the point of calling and leaving no message, there is a purpose people are not aware of.
Can't something be done to stop these calls.?

I have heard of furious electronics folks going to the address of this phone # , climbing the pole with a ladder and blowing the phone apart with a loaded 5000 Volt capacator to no avail. Phones are so cheap they were back at it the next day. We will have to wait for God's wrath at the white throne judgment for them to get theirs.

They called and kept on asking for some one I didn't know. They insisted. I asked who was calling  they wouldn't answer. kept on asking for for that person, then they started to ask if they had the right address. Would not take No for an answer. They kept on repeating the person name.

Same ole lies they tell about having spoken to me before...  I tell them they r liars and I don't do business with liars and hang up.

7/15 13:58  8th call, still an idiot saying hello to voicemail and asking for me by name.  With new call blocker, now blacklisted.   So fed up with this garbage.

This time the person on the phone was female.  She was very persistent and wanted to speak with me.  I kept asking her what company she was with and she kept just asking for me....finally she said it was some type of home improvement company.  I told her my number is listed as a no call number and she hung up on me.

Telemarking a-holes, these guys have been calling for several months, most of the time they say I gave them permission to call from their call in January. I tell them I have no money and to take me off their list.
I have reported them to the fed do-not-call. When I tried to call them back the message say number is not in service.  Obviously the phone companies are in cahoots with these crooks. I wonder how many lonely old women are cheated by these crooks? O when I answer the phone, they hang up, when my wife answers they go into their pitch, she gives me the phone while they are talking and they seem surprised when I start talking.
They only want to talk to the women, I guess they are easier to cheat.

6/20 9:57 Called while out.  Left a "message" on voicemail asking for me by name, then say "hello" a couple of times and asking "are you there".  What part of voicemail do these fools not understand?  If it goes to voicemail it seems obvious there is not anyone live on the other end (in this case me).

Received a call this morning from 562-240-1191. Guy said his name is Bob White. Wanted to speak to my husband. Said it was confidential. When I asked what's this is about he became very nasty recited our address and very threateningly said he would be at our home within 30 minutes.
Go ahead make my day a** hole.

I get these kinds of calls a lot. I just add them to my list of blocked #s

6/14 12:10 8th time has called. I don't know where they got the number but I have yet to answer them.  Will soon have a call blocker that accepts more than the 10 Verizon allows me.  This will be one of the first on the list..  No area code, ID or message and soon, won't even be able to call, period.

They called twice on my cell phone this week. Caller ID says it's Los Angeles Area.

trying to sell home improvement work etc. they call me multiple times a day and never leave a message. i read on another site that they are selling home improvement work etc..   real irritating.

I'm expecting a very important call, THIS was NOT IT!!!!

I kept saying hello....hello.....hello...FINALLY someone was there so I KNEW it was a ROBO CALL!
Someone asked for my wife by her FIRST name saying they have some important business offer taking place (THE NAMED MY CITY). I thought the caller said on behalf of "ONE REPUBLIC"?

6/04 15:40 Once again, fools, after 7 tries, insist on asking for me, by name.  What part of voicemail do these idiots not grasp?  This person, said hello several times, to voicemail.  Don't know who they are or what they want, but whatever it is, won't get it from me!

Yep, they act like they know you, say they called before, want to do home improvement.  REALLY bugs me that they use an "in my area code" number.  Told em NO, they hadn't ever called me before and to GO AWAY.  hah, good luck with that.
