Got this phone number on my cell phone.  I don't recognize it.  Left no voice message.  When I tried to call back all i ever got was a busy signal.  I suspect that this is one of those illegal robo calls with a pitch for some service.  My cell phone is on the no call list.  Per the reverse directories this phone is a landline located in Downey, CA.

Just so you folks know, this is a very sophisticated organization.  When you call back the call is routed to a rerecorded message that said it is out of service or something.  They call out on that line, but you can't call in.  I gave the info I had about this number to a police department fraud squad where their landline is located.  It is actually owned by Global Crossing.  If they are not a licensed business they can get squashed that way.  If they don't pay taxes, maybe the IRS can get involved?  Don't you get a percentage of the monies recovered when taxes aren't paid or income is hidden?  Also in order to get rid of crooks like these, I proposed legislation to my local congressperson regulating boiler rooms requiring such things from the provider of the lines and equipment such as a business license, IRS tax number, signed agreement not to engage in any fraud, ID theft, or violate any FTC, FCC, local, state or federal regulation concerning telemarketing, and to post a bond of several million to be forfeited upon violation of the written agreement and jail time for all people involved in the operation, including the phone scum you talk to because they have no know that they are in violation of all sorts of laws when they hang up on you.  They personally have called my cell phone at least three times.

what is up with these telemarketer crap?!!!

This is the third call from this phone number to me do-not-call cell phone.  There should be a way to punish these folks with hard jail time for flaunting their noses at the law, us, the FCC, the FTC and general human decency.

Missed a call from this number on my cell phone. When I called back (less than 2 minutes later), I received a message that the number had been disconnected....

Do what I do. If you get them to answer, act all interested and overly excited and keep asking what do you get for free. and keep cutting them off...by pretending you are sharing with your family the excitement. Treat it like you won the lottery haha

Our company has been receiving calls from this number all day long.  When we call back, it says it is disconnected.  I pressed one and tried to talk to the lady who answered, she hung up on me.  I pressed one the next time and tried to get info from a man who answered.  eventually, he hung up on me.

I received a call from this Carpet Cleaning business today at 10:17 am PDT.  I made the mistake of answering the call, since I thought it was a friend calling from my area code.  I was surprized to hear the computer generated female voice, and hung up after 5 seconds.

This is the third time this month this phone number appeared on my cell phone.  No messages were left, so I called back but it was definitely a company soliciting business.  Wish these calls would stop!

Got this call while I was on the other line so I did not answer it - especially as the telephone number was unfamiliar to me. They left no voicemail.

Just got this call today, pressed 1 and asked for a phone number for them, the lady who answered the phone promptly hung up.  I'm using the link above to file a complaint to the FCC.

I got this call while at work. I too am on the do not call list. Where do I go to complain?

This recording has called me twice and left voicemails already, how annoying.  I wish there was a way to report this.

They just called my cell phone for the second time.  Same scam as earlier this year.  Diane Carpet Care.  It is either a shady carpet cleaning business or a scam to case your house for a robbery.  Do not bite.  Report it to the FCC.  Enough complaints and maybe the carrier can get busted.  THis phone number is owned by Broadwing Communications so if you want to call them and complain, feel free.

I also got a call last week and today on my call with a message left about carpet cleaning.  It was listed as Downey, California.  There was no name in the message, only the offer (I guess she will personally clean all your carpeting) and asking you to press "1" to make an appointment.  When I tried the number back, it said it was disconnected.  How is that?  I am going to report it to do not call, but this is strange.

Just got the call and pushed 1 to talk to someone.  As soon as she answered I very politely asked her to take me off of the calling list, at which point she immediately hung up.

Next time someone pretend to be interested.  Say you want to buy their service but you have a call on the other line so you need to call back.  Get a name and number!

I have recieved this call in the past and this time I went through the menu and got to a person.  I started to question them and found out they are called Carpet Care.  When I asked for their number they hung up.

don't worry, my "genius" buddy is now tracing this call.  They think it can't be traced....I will post the results after.. stay tuned.

If anyone can find out how to call this company back please email me at pooh143tggr@yahoo.com  because shortly after I lost my wallet I received a call from this number and a few mins later my friend (who's number was in the wallet) also received the same call.

Got a call from this number at noon today on my cell phone.  Only rang 3 times, I didn't answer, no voicemail.

They also called my wife's cell phone at 10:22am today.
