Yep, same thing here. I don't receive many txts so when I receive one it is something that I want to read right away in case it is important. So I'm driving in my car and this jerk txts me about lowering my mortgage payments. I get distracted by reaching in my pocket to retrieve my phone for this, WTF?

562-277-8024 about mortgages & a couple days later 562-277-3194 to lower my car payments. And I'm on do not call list also.

I received a txt at 1am from this number talking about credit card debt. I have my cell on the do not call list. I'm not sure if I should txt back and tell them to leave me alone or just ignore them. First time I've ever received a txt like this.

Text message received at 2334 CDT 09/29/09:

"Do you have 10k or more in credit card debt? Our debt relief program CUTS your payments and total debt by over HALF. No upfront fees. May we contact you?"

This spammer sent me a text message from 562-277-2403 about mortgage reduction.  When I tried to call the number I got a recording stating that the number would not receive calls.  I really wanted to give this cockroach a piece of my mind.  I hope that this is not a growing trend spam text messages.  Some people do not have unli,ited texting, and these spammers are stealing when they spam.
