I am an unemployed IT executive.  This number shows up on the caller ID as synctech,  I was excited as I thought perhaps someone had picked up my digital resume and wanted to talk.  Man I hate these guys!!!!

I found the perfect way to get off of their list!  After they hung up on me for asking them to clarify their company name, I called the number and they asked if I wanted help reducing my debt.  I said I did and that I had about $25,000 on credit cards.  She actually put me thru to someone who said they were the answering service for Northside.  She took my bogus information and asked me if I'd had a hardship that prevented me from being able to pay my debt.  I said, " Nope.  I just spend more than I make and I'd like your help to reduce my debt so I can spend more!"  She said this program is for those with a hardship and I don't qualify. I mentioned that I must qualify since they keep calling telling me that I do.  She told me she was going to remove me from their list...     Worked like a charm.  :)

These idiots have been calling me at least once a day for the past 3 months. I've tried connecting to an agent and asking them to stop, but they just hang up. It is a pre-recorded message from a guy saying he is from "Debt Solutions" and that he's spoken with me previously about my credit card debt. It's really irritating.

I am tired of getting calls from 562-289-8141 Synctech telling me I have credit card debit and when I try to tell the agent I don't have a card they won't listen to me and still keep calling even after I hang up on them. I just got my phone number 30 days ago.

I was in collections for years and if this doesn't stop I will contact the attorney generals office in there area.

Someone (I think the name used was "Tom") called saying that I have x number of dollars in debt and am paying x percentage rate neither of which is true.  I recieve these calls nearly every day.  Finally a few days ago I decided to talk to someone and see if I could get them to quit calling.  Some person who could hardly speak english would answer and as soon as I told them to remove me from their list and ask them where they were getting this information I have been hung up on....every time!!  Should I report this to the authorities?  How do I go about doing that?

Someone called my 90 year old father telling him he owed $6000 on his credit card and gave him this number. This is a scam -- I'm handling his finances for him and there is no $6000 charge.

For the past several months, I have been receiving the same kind of phone calls from "Josh" and his barely English speaking cohorts for India (or somewhere very close). Time and time again I tried asking to be removed from their call list, and time and time again I was hung up on immediately. So I tried asking to speak to a supervisor, again I was hung up on. So today when "Josh" called again, I went ahead and spoke to a representative (who spoke English) and when I asked to talk to a supervisor I was again hung up on. I signed up for the National Do Not Call Registry today. Hopefully it works. If not, then I'm gonna run for President and pass a law that requires the death penalty for these harassing phone calls. LOL.

I am on the warpath! I've received calls from "Josh" saying I own $6,000 of credit card debt. I told him, "You Lie!  Go away!"  One of my credit card companies suggested I call my state attorney general and report the "phising." I will do just that, AND more.  Since these people are pernicious liars and frauds, they get to hear a bible verse from me.  Maybe that will scorch their britches and get me off their calling list pronto! (FYI-here they are:  Ezekiel 13:8: "...you have spoken vanity [lies], therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord God." and Revelations 21:8: "...all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death [end of the soul!]."

I have gotten 2 calls from "Josh" and he won't stop talking or listen to my request to remove my name from his calling list.  I have to just hang up on him.  I just called the number back and a foreign speaking person answered the phone.  When I requested they remove my name from their calling list she just hung up on me.  This is obviously a fraudulent business.

Do not use your Cell Phone unless you block your number when you call these folks. You may start receiving calls on your Cell Phone if you don't?

Type the number in whitepages.com and do a reverse number lookup and see where the calls msuy br originating?

May be spoofing the number and company name?

I read this blog and called the number over and over again and merely stated that "I would like to be removed from the call list or I'll report you to FCC" and they hung-up as everyone stated, so I hit redial and did it again and again and again and again and again (probably 15 times) and I think they got aggravated because someone finally stated they would remove my name.  I asked them to tell me which number they will remove from the call list and they quoted my number.  I will report back if it ultimately works.

They call to tell me they could help me with my debt. --I have no debt, have no credit cards. Both my husband and I have told them to leave us alone. 1-562-289-8141 still calls every day. I would love to know who at 1-562-289-8141 to conect my attorney to. I am sick of the calls and messages.

I answer my phone & get this recording saying that I have credit card debt in the amount of $6,000.00!! I know I do not have debt like that so I start saying something back & that when I found out it was a recording..they had said they were calling on behalf of a bank in the beginning of the call, but they said it too fast so I only caught the bank part of it
Well, I decided to call them back to see what the heck was going on. This Asian guy who I could barely understand answered & asked me if I had any debt I wanted to get rid of. Then he asked me if I had any credit cards or medical bills that needed to be paid. I told him that if I was going to do that, I would do it with someone local, not someone far away..then I hung up.
I just now called again to see who answered & if they mentioned a company name & all you hear is a little music, then they answer asking if you have any debt you want to get rid of. Of course this was another Asian, a woman this time. I just hung up.
There must be a place to report this so they can investigate it & bust these jerks who are trying to rip off Americans.only in California.
My mother is from california & she told me that companies like this one go there because the laws are so lax....maybe they need to step up the laws??

I did the same thing today that you did.  I hit redial and it immediately gave me a machine and option #1 to remove my number.  Hopefully it will work.  These people were calling me several times a day, at least 6 days out of the week.  My fingers are crossed to.
