This number was a call from City Linc it was an automated message about satellite tv. free this free that etc etc. when you call the number back you get another automated message saying if you wish to be remove from their system press or etc

I ignored this call, then called back and heard a recording stating something about credit repair (very low quality recording).

received call from 562-289-8148  on my cell phone. was a recording saying they were "Chris" from City Link and it was about reducing credit card debt, plus saying I had been pre selected to be pre approved for something. the message said to call them back on an 800 number

They call a couple times a day and will not remove my number from there call list. They just hang up.

you might like this...  They called me, I asked to be put on their do not call list, they immediately hung up.  I called back several times asking for a manager, immediate hang up each time.  So the last call, I play along.  "Can I help you with your credit card debt?"  My monotone response, "Yes thank you, C*nt".  "Ok, would you say your debt is over $5,000?", "Absolutely, C*nt".  This goes on for several more questions each response of mine with a lovely, "C*nt".  She finally asks me what I am saying.  I tell her "C*nt".  "Why are you calling me that?", I say "Why are you calling me after I have told you several times to stop calling?" ahem "C*nt".  she said she would take me off the call list.  Let's see.

I have been plagued with calls from this same place every couple days for months.  It is an automated recorded message so I can't pick up the phone to scream at them when the call comes in.  The calls I get are about debt reduction.

The other night I decided to call this Chris Young back and give him a piece of my mind.  When I called I was answered by a foreign person at a call center.  I asked to speak with Chris Young and the person immediately said .. "Do you want to reduce your debt?"  I replied .. "I would like to speak to Chris Young."  We both repeated the same statements one more time and then the foreign person hung up on me.

I get it that the "Do Not Call Registry" is a US regulation and we are dealing with overseas idiots so the rules do not apply, but I wish there was some way to shut these people down.

Haven't answered any of them.  I am on the National Do Not Call Registy also (what a joke).

they have called me multiple times in the last couple of months, they have tried to sell me Sat. TV and debt reduction.
I've asked for a supervisor/manager 3 times and they hung up everytime.  I've called them twice.
I've asked to be taken off their list more than 3 times.
PUT THEM IN JAIL!!

Hehe.  If you war dial them, you can get some laughs hearing them struggle with their opening line.  English is not their first language.  The line quality sounds like it's overseas.

I got an automated call offering satellite TV. I hung up immediately and then googled the number. Now I realize I should have listened longer and reported what I heard!

Received a call "Unnamed" this evening during dinner. They did not leave a message but thanks to this message page and all of your comments I now know to just ignore..until they start using my mins with voice mails. Have a great holiday weekend everyone.

Have gotten numerous calls from 562-289-8148. Supposedly they are Satellite Dish. They call and then hang up so that you tell them to remove you from their list. One of the operators told me that I had better call the police because i asked to speak to his manager.

I got a call from 562-289-8148 and did not know the number so I did not answer. I listened to my messages and it was Chris Young telling me about credit card debt allowance..blah blah blah. I am not calling him back and I hope he doesn't call me back.

I was just checking my messages and I also got this call a few days ago. The big ANNOYING A-HOLES. They are telemarketers. The called me about credit card dept. I wish I knew what f*king company or person sold them a list with my name on it.

There should be major penalties for a** holes who violate the do not call list...I'm for castration with plyers for those who choose to violate us.  They don't get the hint....I DO NOT WANT THEIR SATELLITE SERVICE!

yup, got a call today at 8:07pm. Mr Chris Young called and said he needed me to call immediately about "debt reduction allowance". He's probably trying to get my personal information so he can steal my credit info and wreck my credit. I won't call him back. He said I should call City Link at 800-713-8797. What a waste of time.

The call came in at 9:30pm. I didn't recognize the number or area code. I had received another unrecognized call from 760-526-8132 two hours earlier. Both area codes appear to be from southern California. If people are going to dial random numbers, it would be nice if they checked the timezone of the area code first.
