recieved calls from 5622898164 ID. SVCS. two, three times a day, i got a call last night at 1:00 am i answered but got no response. wtf, all i know is that is located in long beach.

We just got our home phone thru comcast and have not even had it long enough to give our number to anyone. Yet somehow these people and the 800 Service keep calling. I answered the las time the cell phone CA number called and it was some foreign lady on the other end.

These Jack***es call 4-5 times a day Caller ID it says "SVCS" I never answer it.

i just got time/warner phone service then in less then 24 hours i start getting these calls. i even registered on do not call before service was turned on. what a pain

I had been a customer for AT&T for years and had never had phone calls from this company before.  I had just moved recently and right when I had my new number activated, I got constant phone calls from, what is labeled on my caller id, as SVCS.  I of course never answer unfamiliar phone numbers, but this number calls me every week.  I had registered with the national do not call registry about two weeks ago, but it says I have to be on there for 31 days before I can send in a complaint, which totally sucks.

Oh yeah, they'll always let the phone ring until the machine picks it up, but they'll never leave a message.

I get calls just about everyday from this number. Once a person was actually on the line, rest of the time it just hangs up on me, and they identified themselves as being with one of the satellite TV companies ( I can't remember for sure which one, so I won't name names). I specifically told the person I was not interested and not to call again. Three times I have dialed the number back and gotten a recoding saying if I pressd 1 they would remove my number from their list. Has not happened. I recently moved, but put my number on the National "DO NOT CALL" registry the end of August. Hopefully, at some point a person will be there again and I can read them the riot act ( as if I'll get very far before they hang up ) but I will get the company name and file a complaint.

Got a call from the same number. I just got embarq.  Needless to say, them calling and waking me up over and over again after I have told them to quit calling is seriously starting to tick me off.

i have been receiving calls from viking magazine i dont answer unless i know who is calling....

i also sighned with comcast and now im gettin all these calls  im putin my number on the do not call list  ASAP!ce

Stop mother f***ing calling my house. on Wednesday of this week you called 7 times. Sut the s**t otr I will turn u over to the authorities.

SVCS on caller ID.  Dish satellite sales call.  Guy with Indian accent stated he was with Dish network sales and wanted to know if I had satellite or cable.  I told him I was on the do not call list and not to call back.  After finishing here I will file a complain on the do not call list website, as I do with all telemarketer calls (which does very little)

We just signed up for Time Warner Cable.  The day it was installed we started receiving calls from Viking Magazine as well as SVCS.  It's very annoying!!!

I just got this new mumber last week from Charter Cable and now these calls won't stop!!  I registered on the do not call list....we'll see if that stops it

Had my number changed a week ago. On line pharm companies calling 5 to 15 times a day. NOW this SVCS has started calling 3 days after I changed my number. I called the number back and they told me they would put me on the do not call list!!! Liars. Phone company (ATT) said they can't do anything about it. Don't believe that for a minute!!! Some one is making money!!!!!!

Why do they keep calling? Does it really work for any of these sobs?  just got this new phone setup & number from comcast & almost immediately received calls from this number (562-289-8164) & from that darn 800 service one!! Does comcast immediately sell out numbers?  It's crazy. I have never turned on answer machine, never answered any calls of either & registered on the gov 'do not call' list, but they continue on.

they call 3 times or more a day since this is  new number with comcast 10 days aga.

I have been getting calls from 562-289-8164 (SVCS) and i called them back and there is a prompt (i think #2) and it placed you on their do not call list. it says to give them 72 hours and they wont call again..
I guess we will see what happens...

Two week ago I moved from San Ramon, CA. to Rohner Park, CA.  I receive ongoing bothersome calls from 562-289-8164 at both residences.   The caller hangs up just before my phone recorder begins to take message.

Yeah these people called my house phone too, Like ALOT, Which is BLOCKED and we just got this phone turned on with this new number and we have Mediacom. I dont even know how they get my number so fast. The first time I answered and it was some lady that could barely speak english and I told them that no one was home that they could talk to and she said ok and hung up and they called again a few more times.

Got this call around 1230 pm on a weekday, first call and didn't recognize the number, only came up as SVCS. My husband picked up the phone and there was no one there. I called that number back and used the "press 1" option to no longer receive calls. I could NOT find them by phone number with the BBB. I am a comcast customer who has had the line a little over a month, and took this a step further. By dialing *60 with comcast, you can enter the number into your call blocking list. I really hate phone calls like this, especially  when we have been on the Do Not Call registry from day 1 of service....

I WAS on the no call list until i made the mistake of going comcast digital voice.

comcast took my no problem number (brand new, always on no call list) and after porting it they sold it to hundreds of telemarketers, this one included

all of them know i just ported my phone and all of them know i have cable

It is not just Comcast. I just switched my phone service from Vonage to Wow (Wowway) and within an hour of the Wow tech leaving my house I started getting calls from Viking Mag, Thomas Fazio and almost all the others that are listed here in the complaints. What a way to treat new customers.

I just switched from Comcast to ATT and I
am constantly being bothered by this numder
which shows up as SVCS.  I also get inundated
by calls from Tampa with a 813 area code.
I signed up on the do not call registry AND
paid extra with ATT for an ability to block
phone numbers.  It so happens that I can not
block these specific numbers.  I am soooo
pisssst and feel very violated.  I have had
to turn the ringers off at my home.  I'm going
to tell ATT to do something as this is harrassment!!
Many people I know have canceled their home
land line phones.  Fantasized about having
a super loud horn that u could blow into
the phone and blast their ear drums!!  Who
are these losers who do this for a living?

These people call me day and night, since the moment I moved and set up my phone service (brand-new number). I have AT&T, unlike many of the people commenting above. I registered the new number immediately on the "Do Not Call" list, but the incessant calls would convince me months have already gone by -- in fact, I still have two weeks to go. I cannot wait for "Do Not Call" to take effect and be relieved of this exasperating experience.

Comcast...comes up as diffent ID's...if I block one it comes up under a different ID..
I switched from direct tv to comcast with an unlisted number and get so many of these a day...soon I will be moving and I will get my phone service thru another company.
NEVER COMCAST ...even with  an unlisted number from the get go...absurd!

this is a new second line in my home - set-up through comcast. calls 2-3 times a day began immediately. very annoying!

Just assigned a new telephone number by Comcast. Immediate flood of calls from a bunch of no names..

Dish Satellite Sales located in the US does not do "cold calls".  It was probably a re-seller of dish or direct which are not really affiliated with Dish.  Dish network retailers do not make telemarketing calls as a rule unless they are refferals which are authorized by customers and not on the do-not-call list.  I guarantee it was not Dish Network either--they do not solicit customers with cold calls.  Submit your number to the Do-not-call list this may help.
