have a new number 8082032779 it also Access Internat, it calls every week and I'm a apt renter and sleep late because hubby is ill with alzhiemer  and has sundowners bad so up late with him.  I just let the phone ring till it stops, I now have my answering machine on and will keep you informed if they leave a message next time they call.

This number called over 50 times this morning, and the last call was every verbally abusive.

I am a head of Corporate Comms. in the UK. I am being plagued by this number, wanting my personal details so they can 'invite me to give a presentation' (on a subject I am not an expert in which was the 1st giveaway). The weird accent is the 2nd giveaway (Indian sub-continent? overlaid North American). They've tried every which way to get at me including ringing HR for my details. I am hiding behind switchboard, not giving my name when i answer the phone (that is the worst bit, breaks a habit of a lifetime). Hateful people.

Have been getting harassing phone calls from this number 562-392-9900. Arrogant, beligerant, pushy, always pushing for information, accused us of arguing with them each time they call, will not take no for a answer, calling multiple times. We have choice but to hang up on them. How do we get rid of them.Is there help out there

Front desk is rec'ing these calls over and over... My suggestion to everyone is, you can't get them to stop calling, just have fun with it.  Tell them you will transfer them and then put them on hold - eternal - what if the line "accidently" disconnects as you are transferring.  Lay the phone down and continue with business (if you are able with your phone system).  Pretend you can't hear them and make them repeat the same thing over and over and over again...If you are able with your phone system transfer them to an outside disconnected number...give them the absolute wrong information.  I could go on but you get the idea.  No use getting worked up over idiots that can't even speak English.

They called at my job asking for the It manager. I read all the comments above and it's the same thing the indian-lady told me. She was really insistant to have my It manager's e-mail. When I ask her, she didn't want to give me much information. She called about 6 times! I told her to leave a message, so the manager can give himself his adress, but she wouldn't hear me when I told her that I wasn't aloud to give her!!!! Don't answer if you see this number!
I had a veryyy hard time understanding what she said.

This woman called several times, speaking to both of my secretaries and myself- we are a government office.  She would not make sense of what she wanted- we thought the IT department, then she wanted the person in charge of ordering office supplies.  huh?  So I started hanging up the phone without answering- this happened at least 10 times in a row.  One of the secretaries picked up and was called a "bi**h" before being hung up on, after which the number called back twice more and we were put on hold.  Tried to call the number back and it was not in service.

Operator calls all the time and asks for IT person. Can't understand him and is very pushy. I ask what he wants and he just says the IT person. We get phone calls from this number alot; and he does not take no for an answer.

Called about 20 times in an hour insisting to talk to our VP re: inviting to a financial conference. One time they asked for IT Manager (oops).  Unprofessional babbling and very unprofessional was easy clue from the 1st call that this call was bad news.  if you just say sternly "I'm not interested STOP CALLING HERE!!" they just call right back.  Finally had to threaten to call the police if they called back - that got them to stop.

Just got a couple calls from this number. I wouldn't let the first caller speak to anyone in the company, so they had another rep call back. The second acller asked for my name, which I gave him, and then asked what our location was. I asked him why that information was needed. He replied, "Because I'm going to come visit you," and then hung up. Golly-gee, I wonder if that was their version of a threat? These people are such a waste of time...

This company called me saying they had a package awaiting delivery. The caller could barely speak English. She claimed that they are a delivery service and needed the CEO's name so it could get delivered properly because the sender forgot to include it, then asked for an email address, and wanted to confirm the format of our company email addresses. I didn't give any information and she kept talking, so I just hung up. I called the number back and got a message that the number is "out of service".

Received a call from Alex Morare, General manager of Trek Int'l wanting our email format to send an invitation for a Customer Service Convention.  Wanted me to provide email of several people in our company and I would not give them any other than mine.

Lana called looking for IT director.  Told her our quit - she said she would call back.  great, I am looking forward to that!   NOT!!!

Wondering, does this outbound calling ever work?   Who actually takes these calls?

the calls from this number say it is from Access International--however, the person calling says they are calling from TREC Organization; they are trying to get executives email addresses even though they say they are mailing a letter.  First they said the call was about compliance, then in the next sentence they said it was about another topic.

This woman called Barb Williams is continually contacting us. We asked her to put us on her DNC list and she refused!

Some "pig f***er" just called and told me that she was NOT going to stop calling, AND report ME to my boss. She said to me:

THIS IS YOUR LAST DAY.

Don't ley me catch this b***h on the street!

This number is calling and insists on an email address. We have given an address to send info to. This is in an attempt so that a letter can be sent. Check out the FTC website about calls like this. Once they are told not to call then when they do report it to the FTC and the FTC will fine them. The more fines a plce like this gets the faster they stop. Read the FTC rules for yourself.

I received calls from this number and the lady that I spoke with is very nice. She asked some information of my Boss in a very nice way. I understand that they are just doing they job also as well as we do. Sometimes to be honest, we forgot that once in our lives that we are also like them.. Try to think of it as well.

They've just called our front desk 10 times in a row.  I realized the
scammers on the first call & have put them straight into voice mail as soon
as I see the number come up on my automated screen.  Good grief, just as I'm typing this, it came up again - they don't quit!!!  Thank God for voice mail.

A woman called this morning asking for the head of Customer Service.  I told her that I would forward info to the correct person and offered my email address.  She insisted I give her their name but I repeated my offer.

I got another call this afternoon with the same crap.  I made the same offer.  Then her "Manager" called back asking for a different department.  I placed him on hold and he was gone when I returned.

These people are BAD NEWS!  Don't give them any info!  I am sure they are off-shore.  The phone lines are terrible and their strong accents are hard to understand.
