Last January, I changed the tires. The same month, I did a full inspection at a Toyota dealer.

Since we owned the vehicle I have never had any issues, the car runs great.

Same here everyone!  Glad I checked her out of curiosity.  Just my my vehicle on Cars.com as well, and got the text asking him to email him for further correspondance.  What a scumbag!  SCAM all over this.  Thanks for sharing everyone!!

This dude is making the rounds.  I received a text the other day just like Jason's from a 631-618-8159 using the name David McDonalds and the same icemondo2@yahoo.com  Glad I did a Google search before engaging too far.

me too....appears fishy at best.  no more corresponding with either icemondo or gavintyler.

I have gotten messages from both Icemondo and Gavin Tyler...both seemed to be fishy offers.  Glad I checked.

I am getting the same kind of messages from icemondo3@yahoo.com and also from gavintyler00@yahoo.com while trying to sell my truck on cars.com and autotrader.com.  Don't bother replying to them, they are scammers trying to get your paypal account information.

I thought it was fishy when I saw 'ur' and 'd ad stil' and 'bak 2me,' but then later he figured out how to spell correspondence... a four syllable word!  Still icemondo3@yahoo, but the number was 732-965-8087

Great....I have had the exact same thing going on with my vehicle on Cars.com....he even asked for more photos. I wish that I had googled this earlier....what a huge waste of time.

Now he's using 903 225 5914. Still G.Mc and still icemondo3. I thought it smelled bad from the start.

Yes, definitely bogus! It's a shame that the bad guys have so much free time to spam scam everyone that places an ad on Craigslist, Cars.com, Autotrader, etc., I believe in Karma so these guys will rot in hell!

Got the same text with poor english, bad word shortening, and this email.  The signature gave it away, huge flag that you can't ignore...

Same, texted me early morning from 562-453-0959 inquiring about my vehicle on Cars.com. Gave me his email of icemondo3@yahoo.com and signed G.Mc. Emailed back and forth about service record, decided he wanted to buy it via Paypal without seeing the car. Said he was "out of town." Same sentence structure as the people above, he stated "4 further correspondence."
