I've done some research and learned that the phone number (562-453-4352) comes from Palisades Collection in southern California. Palisades Collection is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Asta Funding, Inc., a company that is publicly traded on NASDAQ (symbol: ASFI). Asta's CEO is Robert J. Michel, 210 Sylvan Ave. #1, Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632, phone: 201-567-5648. Also, since ASFI is a publicly-traded company, the SEC might have an interest in their business practices, to the extent that those practices violate SEC regulations. Any lawyers or others out there with the skill set to push back?

They call and write constantly about an AT&T bill paid off over eight years ago. I've submitted documentation three times showing the bill was paid and they never get it straight. I dumped AT&T because of their constant billing mistakes. I went through years of problems with AT&T over my father in law's phone bill. We moved him in with us after his stroke and he no longer had a phone. AT&T harassed him for years for money when they actually owed him. Whenever I managed to talk to a live human, they'd figure out they owed him a refund and I'd ask why they hadn't sent it like they promised the last time I conversed with an actual person. The answer was always the same, "We can't send him the refund because the account had been in collections." It was in collections because of their billing error! They totaled up hundreds of dollars in bogus charges, sent it to collections, and I could scarcely keep my father in law from paying it. I cringe any time I even see an AT&T logo.

I have no idea why i get these calls for someone i don't even know and i try and call it back and you get nothing and no way to leave a message or anything . I don't know how to stop them you can't seem to find any info online about the company and they call everyday .

this is a robo call debt collector tried to call them back to have them remove my number as they are calling for someone that i do not know when i called was answered again by robotic answering system that requested the id number of whomever they were calling about i am not going to be doing their work for them i have relatives in California  that i dont have their number to which is why i answered , tried to be nice and call them back but since i could not get a person to have them remove my number from the list i am filing a complaint and in the future i will just leave phone off hook to make them have to pay for a longer call and complain each time they call so the do not call list when they finally supena their records will be easier to locate

These peoples recorded message calls my cab company every few days looking for JIM MORRISON?  I've been with this company 10 years and we've never had a driver named that.  With it being a recording I cant even tell them where to buy a Doors record.

we have recieved mutiple call about a debt we know nothing about. we have tried to return the call, but unable to speak with a real person to find out what it is about. we have no knowledge about the bill they are calling about. what can we do

I just received a call from tis number telling me to call 800-414-8219 and to put in a reference # I was not asked for a social security number, but nontheless I don't know these characters anyway. When the phone first ring, they say if this is ____________________ press 1 if you are not______________
press 2, so I press 2 and the idiots still keep calling!

Never said they were but they are calling the wrong place over and over and it gets annoying and when I call them back they don't answer nor does their system work so if you know someone who works there please tell them to stop calling me or fix their system.

Tried calling back and their machine doesnt answer and asks you to press number of your choice. It doesnt work as well.

This is a collection agency and unable to get my # off of their list.
