Ottawa, Canada, 17:15 EDT, missed a call, and it was to my cellphone.  How do we get rid of these calls if they are coming from the US?  They wouldn't be subject to Canadian law, right?

Received a voice message saying to call 562-453-4502. When you call that number, you get a message saying that there is a problem with all Mastercards beginning with 5116 and to enter your 16 digit account number. Obviously a fraud.  Probably a violation of FCC law, I imagine.

yup...i got a call from this number in winnipeg, mb. just like most of you, it went to my cell.

it's an automatic voice machine that says that my number has been selected. Press 1 to know about the promotion...I hung up....

got a call from this number at 330 in red deer alberta on my cell phone. i answered and a recorded voice said "congratulations your number has been chosen to receive a prize,please press one.." and i hung up. all i can figure is its from long beach california with 01 communications as its phone carrier.

Called me on my CELL - I have a Toronto, Canada cell phone number.  Call seemed to drop just as I answered.  Reverse Look Up says it's a number out of Long Beach California

Received call from 562-453-4502 at 3:01 pm Nov 18, 2008. Did not answer in time. I guess it was a fraud call for trip.

Friday evening at 7:30.  Called the number back and it was busy.  With the American economy in the garbage can, companies are more than desperate.  Hence the unwanted marketing invasion into Canada.  Thank goodness for the DNCL....DO NOT CALL LIST.  Time to register my cell phone.

I call a call from her today...I was able to call the number back as I did not know who it was and she tried to offer me a trip....she was rude about it too ! SCAM and I suggest you call phonebusters.

They call me in Toronto, offering promotional gift. If you don't respond by pressing 1 , the line drop.
