I am receiving calls from Bally's but they end up saying they're L.A. Fitness, saying it's mandatory I update my credit card information to continue collecting monthly payments for my membership.  I explained I canceled Bally's after my contract was over and they say it's not in their records and that I need to go personally to one of their gyms and speak to an operations manager to pay of my balance and find out if I can cancel my membership!!!! these people are horrible, can I sue L.A. Fitness for harassment?? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks, Mar (Miami, FL)

Tried to use the 866# which automatically told me the wait time is 30min for cancellation. Instead of asking me to hold and wait, it automatically disconnected me. However, I found this # which also required some wait time. But at least I was able to speak to a person.

I wanted to cancel my Bally's membership, but was never able to get through to the 866 number.  The 562-484-2199 worked for me, and i was able to use it to cancel my membership.

(562) 484-2199 is Bally's Total Fitness's customer service.  They call me repeatedly at odd hours to notify me of my unpaid balance at their gym--the one I haven't gone to in months.  This is another reason to not sign a contract.  

They have another number they call me from as well, but my Caller ID can not pick it up so it is UNKNOWN NUMBER.

They keep calling my "pay as you go" cell phone, which I don't answer, because I don't know who it is.  I don't give out my cell phone number to many people, so if it is Bally's, how did they get my number, or is it just random dialing??

ok, so i just got off the phone with them (888-354-0016) and was speaking with a supervisor. It took me 2 calls to get through because the first guy told me that its because of my bad attitude that they keep calling me and refuse to take me off their list. so the second time i called very nicely and asked for a manager. this woman was very nice, and said she had heard the phone call with that rude employee. anyway, she said she would "isolate" this account so i stopped receiving calls. According to her, what is happening is even though they are actually removing my number each time, there is some automated financial system that will immediately re-instigate the calls if it sees a number has been removed. they're calling me at 8:30 on saturday. i've been getting 7 - 10 calls per day, every day for over a month. I have called them every single day, demanding to talk to a manager, and every time they say "oh i'm so sorry, you're number has been removed" but they are lying. I've never even been to a ballys. They are asking for someone named jacquelin

I'm going down to ballys now and going to force their manager to call the highest level of corporate person he has access to. these mother******* are gonna stop or i'm calling my lawyer. i am absolutely beyond furious.

Guess I need to pay the bill for Bally Fitness!  I never go there and they screwed me over with a 3 year plan that I did everything in my power to get out of.  Oh well, at least I am almost done paying it off.

I have been getting calls from Bally's Total Fitness for some one named Jacqulin.  I've told them  she doesn't live at  my home and I dont know her, she won't pay her bill.  There ignorent at Bally's.

This is def Bally's # and they are harassing me for paying a bill that i dont owe because i told them i wanted to cancel my membership.   they are obnoxious.

This number is Bally's Total Fitness, and they often call at odd hours (early mornings) with a recording claiming it is urgent that you contact them.  I recognize this number so ignore the call.  

This is very annoying and I am considering paying off the outstanding bill......Nahhhhh! Hahaha.

oh yeah, i did forget to pay my bill with bally's. It was only due 3 days ago! Seems like if they wanted a payment, they would say something when they called me 6 times today!

I just received a call from this number.  No message left.

They call repeatedly my cell phone and their automatic system has "an important info about your membership" (Bally's total fitness) When you indicate that you are not the right person and they reached the wrong number, the stil continue calling like Satuday 8 AM. I called back from a landline and reached "corporate office". She told me that I (!!!) need to call from the same phone back so they can correct their records.
I think a good lawyer could make some $$$ on this harassment.

They call 3 times a day. No voice mails. If it's Bally's I don't know WHY they're calling. I don't owe them anything.
