Called again.

3/3 11:59 PST  Fools stayed on line long enough to roll over to voicemail, then asked for someone I didn't recognize.   Background noises would indicate boiler room caller and since I didn't recognize number and ID was California, I wouldn't have answered in any case.  I keep getting calls from area code 562 that seem mostly to be contractors.  Heaven help me I had work done on my house several years ago and seem now to be on every conceivable call list.

Folks, please pay attention: if you think that posting your complaints, and making requests to have your numbers removed from any list on this forum is going to work, you're sadly mistaken. These telemarketers don't care if you're on the Do Not Call List; they don't care if you don't want them to call; they don't care if you call them names or hang up on them. They don't care if it's illegal. They just DON'T CARE.

They are relentless.

They will NEVER stop.

Best advice? Put your phone on silent, and never answer it. You are not required to answer that appliance. Let it ring, forget about it, and go on with your day. If someone wants to reach you that badly, they will leave a message.

I have told them to remove my number and DO NOT CALL me anymore.  I kept on getting calls.

This is a wrong number if dialed. Caller id spoofing.

guy calls my landline, says i spoke to him before about remodeling.  when I tell him start asking him questions he hangs up.  i call the number back and it comes back as a non working phone number.  the phone companies need to stop this activity.

Home improvement caller.  Will not stop calling.

I wish the DNC list really worked.I have blocked over 40 mumbers.These telemarketers are the lowest people in business. Try to contact the DNC people, it's a joke!

Got a call from this number saying if they can come by to give me an estimate. They knew our names (creepy) so I said, I'm not interested and hung up.

Called our land line, so I called the number back on my number-blocked cell phone. "Disconnected"; big surprise, :-\

Called me on January 20, 2014 and answered sounds like a guy asking for services. Caller id is "CALIFORNIA". This is totally a scam.

I got a call yesterday (1/24/2014) from this phone number 562-941-5858, a female, selling home improvement work, using the (old, worn-out, phony) name of "Home Center". After she asked me what work I was thinking of doing, I told her to shove it.  

About blocking telemarketers: I track telemarketing calls, so I can see who is making repeat calls to me. I can only block up to 10 callers thru Verizon, so I use each block where it's most needed.  Last week I blocked a very similar number 562-941-5831, also a 'home improvement'-type telemarketer. This call could be the result of blocking them.

My suggestion: Above all, don't be nice. They are low-life, who care not about you. You are just a number.

I don't think Google results are updated, so the Southern Specialties 'hit' is likely out-of-date.
