called without leaving voicemail

I received it as well.  Twice.  I have call block and used it.  MY SUGGESTION IS THIS:  Ask what city they are calling from, put them on hold for a minute while you get your safety whistle, then come back and blow the whistle in their ear.
My next suggestion is to call your local pd and tell them you are being harrassed and ask if they can call the number and see if they get an answer or find out which police dept. is handling the calls from that number then call that pd yourself and tell them you want to file a formal complaint.  Also, you might call your telephone service and file a complaint with them.

I have gotten two calls from this douche now and i cant understand a damn thing he is saying.  I did not apply for any payday loan so i dont know how they got ahold of my number unless it was random dialing.

THESE DUMBASS ARABS KEEP CALLING. THEY ARE AFRAUD COLLECTING AGENCY, THEY NEED TO LEARN ENGLISH BEFORE TRYING TO CALL SOME ONE.HAHAHA DUMBASSES

I HAVE RECIEVED SEVERAL PHONE CALLS FROM TEL# 565-741-9081 AND A 646-918-5351 WITH A + SIGN IN FRONT OF IT. THEY CALL DURING MY WORK HOURS AND IM NOT ABLE TO ANSWER SO I HAVENT SPOKEN TO ANYONE. I DID APPLY FOR A PAY DAY LOAN ONLINE AND THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING EVER SINCE. IT IS EXTREMELY ANNOYING NOW. I REALLY HOPE THEY DONT HAVE  MY INFORMATION

AAhh I applied for a payday loan.. glad to see this is probably because of that.  I'm going to block this number now.

This ***hole call me twice today from this # 565-741-9081. Doe not speak a leak of english. I apply for payday loan and they called asking for my bank account #. I ask for his name and did not tell me. So I told him to go to hell an dont call my # again. Will see what happen

the # 565-741-9081 has been calling my phone atleast 5 times a day for the past 3 days...everytime they call they say its for a dif reason..at first it was for "online degrees" the second time it was for "auto loans" than it was for some "free vacation"....they are trying to steal identities...DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!!!

They have called several times. The number is connected to the 646-845-1910 payday on phone.com. Talked about being approved for a payday loan but you are not. They get your information but nothing happens. That you are approve some shopping line of credit for 2,500 US cash. I could barely understand them.

We live in Oregon and this number keeps calling but does not leave any messages. Annoying!

If you applied for a payday loan online, the national do not call list will not work in this case because they force you to agree to reciving other offers.

I just want them to stop calling

they say they are a cash advance place.  give a preapproved amt.  Can't understand them as they have a heavy accent.

This number just tried to call me this morning, and I was trying to figure out where it was from.

I've been receiving calls from this # and also 646-918-5351 on my cell. I missed the 565 call but spoke to the a**hole at the 646 # twice yesterday. He also asked for a Jose the first time I spoke with him. The second time he called I told him to stop calling and he just hung up. Also, 646# comes up with a + in front of it. I tried calling the numbers back but cannot they do not go through. I called my service provider to block the calls but they can't do that so I just joined the do not call list today because of them but according to this board it won't help. I really don't know what to do. It's super annoying and I hope they get what they deserve. Any advice on action we can take will be greatly appreciated!

Hello, Called at 8am  hung up name unavailable I am in AZ

I hve been getting calls from this at least 5 or 6 times a day, and when i answere no one says anything. I am on the Nat'l do not call list also. Does ahy one know who they are?

I've received several calls from this number in the past few days with no connection when I answer.  Today, someone was there.  The call sounded like it was from a call center - many voices and noise in the background.  Then a accented voice ask for something that sounded like "Darren"

Repetitive calling, no voicemail messages. When I call back I get a message saying my call can not be completed. Getting annoying cause they won't stop.

This number called  - played some weird hindu type music - then the person was speaking in some foreign language that I have no idea what it is - very wierd!

I applied for a payday loan online, and this number called me back the next day. They were quizing me to get all my information,but I asked them if I filled out an app why dont you have my info.I think they are probably some type of computer hacking people trying to steal peoples idenity.

Who are these people?  The number that continually calls me is 011-565-741-9081.  They are calling from out of the country.  another number that is calling me is 011-646-918-5351.  Who are they?
